I have no idea if this will be possible, but BUT…I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that they are Rey’s parents: Ciena Ree and Thane Kyrell.

Yesterday I bought a book called “Star Wars. Lost Stars” by Claudia Gray and it tells the story between Ciena Ree and Thane Kyrell.

The reign of the Galactic Empire has reached the Outer Rim planetof Jelucan, where aristocratic Thane Kyrell and rural villager Ciena Ree bond over their love of flying. Enrolling at the Imperial Academytogether to become fighter pilots for the glorious Empire is nothing less than a dream come true for the both of them. But Thane sours on the dream when he sees firsthand the horrific tactics the Empire uses to maintain its ironclad rule.Bitter and disillusioned, Thane joins the fledgling Rebellion—putting Ciena in an unbearable position to choose between her loyalty to the Empire and her love for the man she’s known since childhood. Now on opposite sides of the war, will these friends turned foes find a way to be together, or will duty tear them—and the galaxy—apart?

(Actually I was hoping to buy The Force Awakens)

Anyways! The book caught my eyes because it says that it contained “clues” towards the beginning of the force awakens.

I have NOT finish reading the book (I’m in the middle of it) but it includes A LOT of things that seem like there’s something going on with the story and somehow it is related to TFA in a BIG way.

Once I finish reading (tomorrow hopefully) I’ll post all my ideas and little clues that I’ve found between the book and the movie. It is quite interesting! And I’m excited with the idea because that means that Rey is someone else entirely! And not a fucking Skywalker for a change! (I have nothing against the Skywalker clan, I love them all, I just wish they would stop shitting everyone’s life in the galaxy, hahaha I’m joking xD)

That’s it for today, tomorrow I’ll post everything I know about. If someone else  has already read the book, tell me what do you think about my idea!

BTW…Happy new year 2016!! My best wishes to all of you guys!

I’ve been successfully dragged out of my art block by @claudiagray‘s LOST STARS.

Like I’m pretty sure I’ve spent the entire 11 hours the audiobook lasted crying into a pillow.

This is still super WIP right now, I haven’t decided if I want Thane and Ciena as naked bodies in space, or in Rebel and Empire uniforms. Decisions, decisions.

If you need a Star Wars fix while patiently waiting for Rogue One, I highly recommend picking it up. Or if you just want some QUALITY reading.

I love the remix to this song ♥

Here’s the pitch: A Rebel and an Imperial fall in love against the backdrop of the entire Star Wars trilogy. Sounds like a winner, right? It is. It’s the plot of Lost Stars by Claudia Gray, one of the first releases from the new Journey to the Force Awakens series of books.

Though the book is aimed at the YA audience, it tells one of the most incisive and eye-opening Star Wars stories to date, illuminating past events, revealing new ones and introducing us to two key new characters in the Star Wars universe: Thane Kyrell and Ciena Ree.
