kwee! kwee!

A recent Detentionaire commission made by @chillguydraws (caution: though he doesn’t actually make NSFW art, his work tends to skirt that edge a lot), which I guess could be nicknamed “Lee’s Angels” [might put that in the DeviantArt title]. And as you probably guessed, these are my favorite ladies from the show, striking poses and showing elements that seemed to fit them. *Insert Variation of Andy Dwyer’s Codename Assignment in the “Bus Tour” episode here*

Keng Kwee Street (Lebuh Keng Kwee)

Keng Kwee Street is a short street in George Town. It runs from Penang Road to Kuala Kangsar Road and was built towards the turn of the 20th century. It is famous for its two Teochew Cendol stalls.

The two cendol stalls have been recognised as the most famous cendol stalls in Penang. One of the stall is called “Penang Road Famous Cendol” run by the Loh family, while the other is called “Penang Road Famous Teochew Cendol” run by the Tan family.

Although you may need to wait for a long queue, I can ensure that you will feel it is really worth when you try their cendol. The cendol’s taste of two stalls have little bit different, one is more salty and one is sweet. If you wonder know which one taste better, you must come and try!
