Sooyoung has been cast in TV Chosun‘s new drama, “Speed“, which delves into the world of competitive race car driving. Sooyoung will play the role of ‘Seo Ji Won‘, an orthopedist and team doctor of racing team ‘CKins’. With her tall height and lovely face, her character is much beloved and respected. Though she’s a cheerful person, her character also carries deep scars from losing her parents in a car accident when she was younger.

The director of “Iris“, director Yang Yun Ho, will be leading this production, which starts filming in December. Sooyoung will be working alongside actors Lee Jung Jae and Yoo Ah In.

The industry is buzzing with anticipation for Sooyoung’s leading role, as she already showed her potential as an actress through the 2008 KBS2TV sitcom, “Unstoppable Marriage“, and the film “Romance Comic“.

김소은 (Kim So Eun) gets ‘Happy Ending’.

Kim So-eun is coming back with a new miniseries! 

The role is for a cable drama on JTBC titled Happy Ending, where Kim plays daughter to Choi Min-soo, a rigid patriarch who learns that he’s dying. He begins making preparations for his passing, to “make his farewell cheerfully.”

Kim So-eun’s character Eun-ha is a fashionable hotelier, a confident woman who knows that her beauty is an asset and a weapon. Cast as her love interest singer Kang Ta.

Happy Ending will premiere on April 23; it airs as a Monday-Tuesday series.

Soompi📌Following news of Park Shin Hye’s cameo in the upcoming SBS weekend drama “Gogh, The Starry Night,” which stars Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Kim Young Kwang, and Lee Ji Hoon, it has been revealed that Lee Jong Suk will also be making an appearance in the drama.“Gogh, The Starry Night” airs at 9:55 p.m. on October 22.

박민영 (Park Min Young), new look for upcoming ‘Man of Honor’ drama role.

Actress Park Min Young has cut off her lustrous long hair for the first time since her debut for her role in the upcoming KBS drama,’Man of Honor‘.

The ‘City Hunter‘ star will be playing the role of ‘Jae In’, a cheerful nurse who lives in hard conditions. “She thought that cheerful cropped hair would be better suited for the role than her long hair,” revealed a representative. “All of her thoughts are focused on making a successful transformation into Yoon Jae In.”

The title of the drama is a pun on her character’s name; while the title means ‘man of honor’, it can also literally mean ‘Young Kwang’s Jae In’. Young Kwang is the name of the male lead in the drama.

Aside from Park Min Young, the drama is said to have drawn a list of heavyweights including Chun Jung Myung, Lee Jang Woo, and Lee Jin (of Fin.K.L fame). It will start broadcasting on October 12th.

Park will play Ryu Shi-won’s first love. Her character, Oh Hyang-gi, decides to come back into her ex’s life, not caring that he’s gotten married to another woman the meantime. She can be cold at times but also sweet. He ends up leaving his wife of five years to be with her, the drama will focus mostly on the wayward husband’s journey back to the wife he thought he didn’t love. 

Danny Ahn, plays Ryu Shi-won’s best buddy. Ryu Shi-won plays an ex-championship fighter who now owns a gym, and Danny Ahn his ex-trainer and best friend.

The drama is a romantic comedy about married couples who need to find romance once the honeymoon phase is over.

Goodbye Wifey will premiere May 7 on cable network Channel A.
