Bibimbap

I NEED to share this story

I went to a Korean food court with my bf. We were deciding on what to order and this white man came over to me and asked me what I was going to order, so I said I was thinking of ordering a bibimbap (Korean mixed rice). He asked me what that was, so I explained it to him and even pointed to him where it was on the menu. So he skims it and he ended up ordering it himself.
So get this: We picked up our orders, sat down and while my bf went to get tissue and water, the man came over and sat next to me. He also got his order and he started taking out the spicy pepper sauce. I tell him he was supposed to mix it in and he says, “oh no, I don’t quite enjoy spicy food. I’m very weak when it comes to heat!”
????why would you order this dish???? It clearly said it was a spicy dish!

My bf comes back and I’m trying to ignore this man and enjoy my bibimbap, then I hear my bf say “you’re not supposed to eat it like that."
So I turn to look, and lo and behold, the man is using chopsticks to pick out the veggies to eat without even mixing the rice. He then exclaims, "ah, I just wanted to eat it authentically."

At this point, my bf is trying his best holding in his laughter because this is ridiculous and I very aggressively mixed my bowl with a spoon to show him how it’s supposed to be done, and he continues to just eat it with chopsticks.

*Internal screaming*
