known but to god

I’m not really here.  Just checking in quick on a VERY slow internet connection.  I’ll be back on Monday.

Harry could have gone for big money.  He could have done a few songs pretty much guaranteed to be top hits.  He could have announced a huge tour with large venues.  I’m sure he’ll turn a profit on his album and limited tour, but money was clearly not his primary aim.  As I’ve been saying for months, Harry is interested in self-expression now.  He’s not looking to become more famous, but more known - those aspects he chooses to share to be as genuine as possible.  God bless you Harry and good luck.

Hi! I was wondering if snow falls in with the infinity for water? I have a strong connection to both but I was wondering if they are considered in the same element? And are their any deities for snow?

Snow does fall in the affinity for water AND weather magicks.  Here are a few off the top of my head:

  • Skaldi, the Giantess wife of Njord and deity of ice and snow (Norse.)
  • Ull (though he is much lesser known), the god of ice and snow, as well as hunters and archery (Norse.)
  • Boreas, god of the north wind (Greek.)
  • Orithyia, goddess of cold mountain winds (Greek.)
  • Himavat, personification of the Himalaya (Hindu.)
  • Ngeshtin-ana, goddess of wine and cold seasons (Sumerian.)
  • Marzanna, goddess associated with death, winter and nightmares (Slavic.)
  • Cailleach Bheur, an ancient goddess of the pre-Celtic people of Ireland, the goddess of winter (Celtic.)

Asphodel and Nightshade

My interpretation of Hannibal and Will as Hades and Persephone, Alphonse Mucha style. Originally planned for the @hannibalcreative HannibalOdyssey event, but I’m way past deadline since this turned out to be a LOT more complicated/detailled than I’d originally planned.

Mythology behind the Sun
There are countless of versions of how the Sun came to be in astrology, but most commonly known and told is that of the Greeks. Helios, seen as the Sun God, would ride on a golden chariot across the sunset making his way home everyday. He is often associated with Apollo. Apollo is not only God of Music, but also God of Sun and Light (and many more).

The Sun in Astrology
The only way we identify ourselves, normally, is through our Star sign aka our Sun sign. It’s who we are when we are first getting to know someone since it’s our most basic personality. It’s purely our sense of self. On a deeper level, some argue that the Sun sign is your life purpose. This makes sense since our Sun sign is who we are at our very best. But in order to become our “very best”, we must accept ourselves for who we are and work with that. Trying to be someone you are not only confuses your life’s purpose and you are not staying true to yourself. You are not showing your Sun sign at its best, but only a reflection of what you want it to be.

Grimspound, Devon, England

Grimspound is a late Bronze Age settlement, situated on Dartmoor in Devon, England. It consists of a set of 24 hut circles surrounded by a low stone wall. The site was most likely used for farming and not defensive purposes. The name was first recorded by the Reverend Richard Polwhele in 1797; it was probably derived from the Anglo-Saxon god of war, Grim (more commonly known as Woden, or Odin). Grimspound is thought to have been the model for the Stone Age settlement in which Sherlock Holmes camped in The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Watch drone footage of Grimspound here.

Friendly reminder that Alec had known about Magnus’ love life BEFORE meeting him, through a bunch of pictures and info in the Institute.

Friendly reminder that Alec had known about Magnus’ love life through the way Magnus randomly dropped names in their first meeting.

Friendly reminder that Alec had known about Magnus’ love life by being reminded by Robert. And he answered that he intended to find out himself.

Friendly reminder that Alec had seen Magnus being kissed by Camille, also heard how Magnus thought of her. And he DIDN’T bother at all.

So PLEASE don’t judge him or the writers or the show just because of two words “How many”!
