Favorite event of 2012?

Hmmmmm. Fanime. Working in the artist alley for the first time was an absolute blast. I met some of my favorite artists, became enamored with new artists, and had people actually buy my stuff. (I don’t think you realize how much I’m humbled by people continuing to buy my stuff in my shop even now.)

Met a lot of awesome people (<3), and wore a body suit; something I never thought I’d have the guts to wear in public.

It was an event that really boosted my confidence, made me work hard, and taught me some lessons.

July

(I WAS TORN BETWEEN TWO STORIES FOR JULY THANK YOU PLATY)

oh my fuck, like. a couple weeks after Anime Expo, my babies and I went to Comic-Con and the first night, YOU, Soren, Amanda, and I all sat in on the Hannibal panel (I was cosplaying Will Graham that day) and after the panel ended, we went up to the stage to see if we could meet some of the cast, but Hugh Dancy’s handlers made him leave early but before he did, I kind of waved at him and saw me and pointed, smiled, and said “AAAAH”

AND AFTER HE LEFT, Bryan Fuller was still on stage signing EVERYTHING (He is the actual biggest sweetheart, you guys oh my gOSH) and Amanda and I each asked if he could sign our papers and he was like OF COURSE! but then he looked at me, saw that I was Will and said “wait, can I get a picture with you??” aND I LITERALLY DROPPED MY BACKPACK AND JUST SAID “what“ like a complete dumbass and he was like YEAH and motioned for us to follow him outside the panel room and this rad Hannibal cosplayer joined us and we all took pictures together and I told him how much I admired his work and how I hoped that he could get that Star Trek series going sometime soon and he said "oh gosh, you know, I be so honored to actually do that, wow, thank you!”

aND THEN HE PUT THE PICTURE ON TWITTER AND I CRIED AND SILAS TEXTED ME TEN MINUTES LATER ASKING IF THAT WAS ME ON TWITTER AND I WAS NEVER OKAY AGAIN
