Super excited for legit photoshoot. Which means I need to redo costume parts because mine has last-minute stuff done. And add weapons. And we’re going to look for a grungy area for Budapest-esce shoot. And I have an awesome photographer.

So random crops of pictures I found. (Source)

Wig you need defrizzing.

Papapaparazzi shot where we were moving out of the way because DEADPOOL. But kept Deadpools because I love Deadpool and the ones at Fanime were the best.

ALSO CARLA LOOK. It’s us. <3

Gabriel/Kali - honey

She smiles one day, a genuine smile that doesn’t terrify him to his core, and touches her fingertips to his jaw.

“Your eyes are like honey, Loki, but you are not so sweet,” she says with a faint chuckle, kissing his cheek.

“Perhaps you should try and sweeten me up then,” he grins and captures her lips in a kiss, handing her a jar of the sticky substance as an offering and an invitation.

Written for Carla, who encourages me an awful lot ♥

Kali found him in a bar in the city, right near a college campus - the perfect place for his brand of chaos. But he wasn’t doing anything besides drinking (an awful lot if she were to judge by the sheer amount of glasses gathered around his spot at the bar) and looking forlornly at the remaining bottles on the shelf. That just wouldn’t do.

“Gabriel - stop moping. The look does not suit you,” she said, sitting down on the stool next to him with a small grimace (it did not appear to be a very clean bar).

Once you get this you have to say five positive things about yourself, publicly, then send to ten of your favorite followers (non negotiable) (positivity is cool)

Gabriel/Kali prompt- kisses

It’s not like he had expected, going into this- he had thought of fire and blood and death, but he had gotten tenderness. His eyes flew open when their lips met, only to find hers closed, dark lashes brushing her cheekbones. She looked so beautiful he almost wept, but instead he closed his eyes again and kissed back (and maybe, possibly, even fell in love).

Top 6 books

  • Rogue Warrior by Richard Marcinko. Autobiography of the guy who founded Seal Team Six. Possibly my sole father figure growing up. Great account of the Viet Nam war
  • Bone Doll’s Twin by Lynn Flewelling. Completely believable gender fluid lead set in the only fantasy world I could ever truly love. This is the kind of author who you miss once the series is done.
  • His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik. History, but with dragons. Dragons serving as an aerial corps. Peter Jackson has the rights. If you’re reading this I’ve probably already purchased the book for you at some point and begged you to read it.
  • Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith. Jesus this was a good look into Soviet Union and its culture. Crime thriller isn’t usually my genre but the context was so, so good.
  • K Blows Top by Peter Carlson. The most amusing nonfiction history book I will probably ever read. It’s about Soviet Premiere Khrushchev’s visit to America. Just wait til he gets denied the Disneyland trip. Go on. I’ll wait.
  • Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This book made me cry. Violently. In public. On a bus. In front of friends. At work during break. This book connected with me on a hugely personal level and I absolutely lost it at least four times.
