knitted bracelets

@ all old lgbt people who want grandchildren but don't have any

i am your grandchild now.

spoil me. make me scarfs. bake goodies for me. send me money in my birthday cards. i, for one, am happy to shoulder this burden.

I was tagged by @over-your-hill and @for-the-joy-of-running weeeeee:

5 things you’ll find in my bag:

  • my laptop
  • about 10 bars or an apple
  • my pink blender bottle which I have only ever put water in
  • 3 erasers and 5 weird color pens and probably 1 barely working pencil
  • dirt and rubber track pellets

5 things you’ll find in my bedroom:

  • 300 bottles of lotion and body spray all about 2/3 used
  • weird scented candles that I hardly use
  • a highly-addictive jar of trail mix
  • yarn, knitting needles, friendship bracelet string
  • a hidden stash of candy corn and jelly beans (only if u can find them)

5 things I want to do in my life:

  • I want to travel to various places around the world after college! I feel like I missed out on studying abroad by being a student-athlete :/
  • I want to be EXCITED to go to work in the morning. I want to love my job at each stage in my life!
  • Live in a big city (like NYC-big) post college for a couple years.
  • Find a loving husband and have a beautiful family together to care for each and every day<3
  • Once I am done running I want to find a different way to work out that I love and can dedicate myself to daily!

5 things I’m into right now:

  • oatmeal. can’t tell if its just a phase or if its gonna be a for-life kinda thinggg… I am serious. I can’t get enough!
  • Planning. This term has been super stressful so I have started to get more organized and on top of things.
  • walking outside when its sunny. wow I used to take the sun for granted. Fun fact: last year I literally went tanning in my bikini outside when it was 57 degrees just because it wasn’t raining.
  • Starbucks grande unsweetened iced coffee w/ splash of cream. just do it. life is too short to drink plain hot bean water. y’all are trippin.
  • watching Youtube videos. so fun for my short attention span!

5 things you might not know about me:

  • I am studying business & sports management in school and i have NO idea what I want to do with my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Used to be an excellent jump-roper and was on my elementary school squad. Tried jump roping a couple weeks ago… yeah definitely not the same as a grown human.
  • I have two sisters and a younger brother. Both my sisters also run in college.
  • Worked at a competitive swimwear store for 3 years.
  • getting all 4 wisdom teeth out on monday WOOOOO!

I was thinking about selling knitted bracelets and chokers and whatnot. Id love to sell knitted bags and coasters and stuff but like…I knit so fucking slowly. And there’s a certain point where knitting just isn’t profitable I think? Like this coin purse was working on is super pretty but its already taken me 2 hours and its not finished. If I charged minimum wage itd have to cost at least $15-18 and no matter how pretty a tiny bag is no one would buy that I think. Maybe if I made this stuff out of a chunkier yarn??? But then some stuff wouldn’t function all that well I think, like the coasters I was planning
