I fall to easily.. as soon as I touched your hand, I was face down on the pavement with scratches on my knees and broken bones, knowing that you were the only one that could fix me ~ but you never even helped me up.
I decided to make this so it's an ~actual~ post and it might make it easier for you to understand your chart. Before I start listing placements I want to make clear that our dominant sign and planet has a strong influence no matter what. As well as the 1st house, Sun and Moon; as they all have an affect on our looks in an overall way - especially Sun. It is also important to remember that astrology and rulership isn't something that is stilted or 100% clearly defined, it all works together and flows together - like how Leo rules the heart but Aquarius rules the circulatory system (therefore veins). Another important thing to note is that you do have to take genetics into account. For example, if you realise your chart says you're supposed to have thick hair and yours isn't, it's probably just thicker in relation to your other family members:
What The Houses and Signs Represent:
Head, whole face
Neck, collarbones, also influences some facial features such as: mouth, ears and chin. Weight.
Shoulders, Arms, hands
Rounder; big eyes, full lips etc. soft but strong (crab)
Leo is the lion so the archetype is looking cat like and with great hair
The virgin, the look is innocent and youthful, flat foreheads.
The scales, there isn't really an archetypal look for this sign except making things balanced and symmetrical
The scorpion, archetypically intimidating looking. Piercing gaze, square face, strong shoulders etc.
The centaur/archer, long face and tall body. Also being pear shaped (carry most of your weight on your hips, thighs and bum) to give the "appearance of a horse"
the goat, flat foreheads but can have prominent temples, small features, even teeth and prominent bone structure; especially cheekbones
Water bearer (representing that they're hear to bring water (knowledge) to the world), large foreheads, noticeable eyes, the water bearer also has no assigned gender to the archetypal look is androgynous
The fish, full lips, big eyes, full cheeks
Shared Pain || Bucky Barnes x Reader [[soulmate au]]
[prompt: soulmate au where you and your soulmate share each other’s pain]
i’ve found a loophole with my laptop and am able to type my stories in my email drafts ;w; it’s a pain to do it, but….it makes it hella easier for me to write without wearing out my thumbs and making typos.
there’s going to be two versions of this story/prompt with two different characters. the first one (this one) will be a bucky barnes x reader while the second one will be a peter parker x reader.
consider this a late birthday fic for bucky barnes as I try to get used to writing for him ;w;
that being said, lets delve into this first story shall we?

You didn’t think you had a soulmate because you seldom felt any pain that didn’t originate from your own personal mishaps. If you did have a soulmate, then perhaps he was someone who wasn’t clumsy and had a high tolerance for pain.
But you highly doubted the existence of such a perfect being. After all, everyone could feel pain.
In a long undergrowth of wanting I creep at night the sea is a dark room I called and called these white corridors are not free from longing Dear postman Dear night-time, dear dark mouth hovering over me Dear knee bones dear palms, dear faithful body I have wants
For more than 12,000 years, the adolescent girl’s bones lay deep in a Mexican cave. Now analysis of her skeleton is revealing details of her harsh existence in the early Americas — which probably included pregnancy and childbirth before death at a young age.
The bones show that the girl, whom researchers nicknamed Naia, is likely to have travelled long distances on foot, but didn’t carry much on her journeys. The skeleton also reveals that Naia experienced severe and repeated nutritional stress that scarred her bones and teeth, according to results presented on 30 March at a meeting of the Society for American Archaeology in Vancouver, Canada.
“She’s telling us a story,” says James Chatters, an archaeologist with Applied Paleoscience in Bothell, Washington, and principal investigator of the research on Naia, a project of Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History in Mexico City. “It was a very hard life.”
Naia has already helped to illuminate the origins of the first Americans. In 2014, Chatters and his colleagues reported that her DNA confirms the idea that a single group of Asian emigrants gave rise to both the earliest American settlers and modern Native Americans1.
For that work, divers examined Naia in the water-filled cavern in the Yucatán Peninsula where she was discovered in 2007. But intruders subsequently tampered with her remains. To prevent further meddling, the bones were gently carried out of the cave in 2014 and 2016 — which also gave scientists easier access to the specimens.
Roughly half of Naia’s bones were recovered, including an intact skull, both arms and one leg, making her among the most complete of the handful of New World skeletons that are more than 12,000 years old. Her bones reveal a teenager aged 15–17 at her death, which was probably the result of a fall into the deep pit where she was found. She was “rail-skinny”, Chatters said, with one upper arm bone only as thick as his little finger.
Naia’s slight build might have been linked to nutritional stress. Her shin bone and knee are striped with lines etched by halting growth, perhaps as a result of too little food, or health problems — such as parasite infections — that prevented her from absorbing nutrients. Irregularities in her teeth reinforce the suggestion that her nutrition was “rather limited quite often”, Chatters says.
A small portion of Naia’s pelvis broke off when she plummeted into the pit, and was lost. But her remaining pelvic bones are pitted in a way often seen in young, slight woman who have given birth. That’s a strong indicator she had gone through labour, and the healing of the bone means that she gave birth well before her death, says Chatters, who is collaborating with scientists at the Autonomous University of of Yucatán in Mérida, Mexico.
Naia’s upper-arm muscles were not heavily developed, judging by the smoothness of the bones where those muscles were once attached. She didn’t routinely grind seeds, work animal skins or carry heavy loads — common tasks during her time. But Naia’s shin- and thighbone show that her legs were heavily muscled, meaning that she probably roamed widely over the landscape.
The team’s analysis was competent and thorough, says Gary Haynes, an archaeologist at the University of Nevada, Reno. He thinks Naia’s thinness might be due to “environmental changes of the time [that] were making life harder and harder by removing resources, or making them less dependable”.
“We get the sense that the lives of the first Americans were wonderful and easy,” Chatters says. “Well, it isn’t necessarily the case.”
Intro: So I wrote this one out of the blue the other day when I was inspired by a prompt kinda thing that read: “I’m sorry that I got way too into playing house and accidentally kissed you passionately.” - so that is where this came from.
This is also for @trekken81 who wanted a fluffy Bones story so this is as fluffy as it gets I think haha
Oh and this has a little bit of the Bones Headcanon: where Bones takes his date’s pulse to know if they like him - this is the fic I was writing where I got the idea, and it’s in there a little, but I want to write a fic where that is kinda the main focus. Eventually…
ALSO: Sorry peeps but there will be no Messy p.t. 2 on Sunday because finals are kicking my ass and the only reason I am posting this is because I had it already done and haven’t posted in a while. Sorry y’all.
Pairing: Bones x reader
Word Count: 1,903
Summary: You are playing house with Bones, Jim, and Joanna McCoy. Fluff ensues.
“Okay. You can play daddy, and Auntie Y/N can play mommy!"
You locked eyes with Bones as his daughter assigned the different roles, and he rolled his eyes and shrugged at you.
"And Uncle Jim can be my doggie!” Jo squealed and hopped over to Jim who had an incredulous look on his face.
“Awww, Jo, why do I have to be the doggie? Why can’t your daddy or Y/N be the doggie?” Jim whined, and you held back a snicker.
“Because your hair is fluffy and Auntie Y/N and daddy are gonna get married.” Jo said matter-of-factly, leaving Jim with his jaw dropped.
“Uh, peanut?” Bones started, giving you a side-glance as he grabbing his daughter’s wrist to get her attention, “Auntie Y/N and I aren’t getting married."
Jo looked very seriously into her daddy’s eyes, crossing her little arms over her chest, "Well I say you are. And you said this is my game, didn’t you, daddy?"
Bones looked flabbergasted at his little girl, and you couldn’t help but grin at the helpless look on his face.
"Why yes I did, Jo-bean.” Bones sat back on his heels, “I guess it’s alright if we get married in the game.”
“No, in real life too!” Jo assured, leaving all three of you speechless as she quickly began setting out toys and blabbering on about the game of house you were going to play. It was all very elaborate.
You caught Bones’ eye and gave him a quick grin, hoping beyond hope that your cheeks weren’t as red as his were.
“Okay, daddy, you are leaving for work now, give me and Auntie Y/N a hug.” Jo commanded and Bones shuffled on his knees over to you, giving you and Jo a quick hug, then turning and shuffling over to Jim, giving him a pat on his head with a smirk.
“Have fun at school!” Jo called, to Bones as he was knee shuffling out the ‘door’.
Medical astrology is a branch of astrology focused on how astrology can be used to identify physical weaknesses and strengths, bodily deficiencies, and potential illnesses. While it isn’t used to diagnose illnesses or diseases (only medical doctors can do that), medical astrology can give insight into what we may potentially struggle with physically. Medical astrology should NOT be used in place of seeing a doctor or medical professional, and, as with basically everything in astrology, nothing in medical astrology is set in stone. Just because certain physical weaknesses are shown in your chart, it doesn’t mean you will suffer from them.
Many astrologers don’t believe in medical astrology, believing it’s too ancient and archaic in this era of modern medicine. Personally, I’m not completely sure how I feel about it (something about medical astrology makes me feel a little icky), but I’m learning more about it, and I’d like to discuss it a bit since it’s really fascinating!
NOTE: IF YOU ARE THE TYPE OF PERSON TO GET PARANOID OR BECOME ANXIOUS WHEN IT COMES TO THINKING ABOUT DISEASES, ILLNESSES, OR ACCIDENTS, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS POST.
The Zodiac Signs
Many people know that the zodiac signs are associated with different parts of the body, and these associations are used heavily in medical astrology. For those who don’t know what parts of the body the signs are associated with, here’s a little run through along with other bodily functions and occurrences associated with the signs.
ARIES: The head, the brain, the eyes and other parts of the face
TAURUS: The throat, the thyroid, the gums, the tonsils, the middle ear, the vocal cords, the esophagus
GEMINI: The lungs, the arms and shoulders, the nervous system, bodily processes that involve connectivity
CANCER: The breasts, the sinuses, the stomach, the uterus, the chest cavity, other “containers” or cavities of the body
LEO: The heart, the back, the spine (not including the spinal cord)
VIRGO: The intestines, the processes of the liver, the pancreas, bodily processes that involve discrimination or cleansing
LIBRA: The lower back and butt, the kidneys, the vasomotor system, bodily processes that involve balance or equilibrium
SCORPIO: The reproductive organs, the colon, the bladder, the rectum, bodily processes that involve elimination
SAGITTARIUS: The thighs, the hips, the liver itself
CAPRICORN: The bones (including teeth and nails - wait, are nails bones?), the knees, the hair
AQUARIUS: Blood circulation, the lower legs and ankles, the valves of the heart, rare diseases
PISCES: Feet, toes, lymphatic system, hard to cure diseases
Also, the planets are associated with maladies and reactions of the body. In a way, you can compare the zodiac signs to anatomy and compare the planets to physiology. Again, I want to repeat that just because you have a certain planetary dominance, it doesn’t mean you will have the disorders or diseases associated with that planet. So please don’t worry.
SUN: Inflammation, fever, heart problems involving the muscles of the heart, energy problems
MOON: allergic reactions, female health problems, mucous formation, acute pain or ailment, altered body rhythm
MERCURY: speech disorders, memory problems, nervous system disease, hormonal problems
Medical astrologers use these associations with the planets and the signs to read into people’s charts (especially a person’s planetary aspects) and see where underdevelopment, weakness, or conflict lies.
Medical astrologers also use the elements present in a person’s chart to make predictions or find patterns. A lack or an excess of a certain element can point towards other bodily issues.
Here are what the different elements are associated with.
FIRE: Heat and purification. A person with too much fire can get burned out too quickly. A person with too little may have problems fighting infection
EARTH: Support and stability. A person with too much earth can become too obsessed with the body or may suffer from a lack of moderation. A person with too little can make a person ignore the body and symptoms.
AIR: Oxidation and connectivity. Too much air can lead to being gassy or overly sensitive. A person with too little air can have problems with feeling faint or with a weak nervous system.
WATER: Nurturing and protection. Too much water can make make a person overly sensitive as well and can lead to too much fluid in the body. Too little water can make them weaker with toxins or infection.
This is just for fun! I’m curious if astrology can relate to what type of whump you enjoy, so I listed some whump scenarios based on each sign. Check out your moon and venus:
Aries: you favor characters with head injuries, the whumpee is cut open by sharp objects such as knives, swords or scalpel blades during surgery, whumpee fights whumper in combat/battle/war, the character’s morality is black and white, physical whump from direct conflict, whumpee burned in a fire
Taurus: you favor characters with neck and throat injuries, you enjoy scenarios that have physical/sensual whump which stimulate your 5 senses, or the whumpee’s senses are affected, you don’t like random/chaotic whump scenes, the whumpee is stubborn or suppresses pain, perhaps the whump takes place outdoors
Gemini: shoulder/arm injuries, you enjoy writing about whump, you’re interested in scenes that are dialogue-driven with multiple characters, you don’t feel emotionally invested in the whumpage, you’d rather see multiple short-term whumpings than a single long-term whumping, whump involving technological devices or vehicles, the whumpee is younger than the whumper
Cancer: you favor whump towards characters whom you’re emotionally invested in, you’re sensitive to hurt/comfort, you feel nurturing and maternal towards the whumpee, you’d like to bring them home to take care of whumpee and feed them soup
Leo: you favor characters with heart or spine injuries, you’re interested in whump that entails dominance, drama, role play, or involves a character of higher status, you might prefer being the whumper more than the whumpee
Virgo: you’re more interested in the character’s health, perhaps giving medication to the whumpee, or removing poisons/toxins from their system, you favor scenarios that take place in clinics and hospitals
Libra: you’re interested in whump that requires more communication, perhaps between two opposing sides, in social settings with multiple characters instead of isolated characters, the whump may involve public negotiation over the whumpee
Scorpio: you enjoy whump that uncovers the character’s deeper psychology, whump scenarios take place in privacy or at night, investigations, secrets, interrogations, transformations, the whumpee is permanently changed/damaged after the whump, whumper feels possessive over whumpee, scenarios might involve other sexual kinks like bondage, torture, etc.
Sagittarius: you favor scenarios where the whumpee travels long distances or out of the country, the whumpage might address the character’s values/spirituality/morality, you favor characters with thigh and hip injuries, the whump may involve the character’s mentor/teacher
Capricorn: you favor characters with knee and bone injuries, you’re invested in long-lasting whump more than short-lasting whump, perhaps the whumpee is older than the whumper, the whump might take place in public settings, businesses, governments, banks, etc.
Aquarius: you favor mental whump more than personal/emotional whump, you prefer a group of characters witnessing the whumpage instead of a single character, whump in outer space or sci fi shows, whump might involve a societal issue or the conflict impacts society at large, whump involves electricity or something transmitted in the air, nervous system injuries
Pisces: you favor foot injuries, you’re interested in hurt/comfort and you want to nurse the whumpee back to health, nurse/patient dynamic, you easily visualize whump scenarios in your mind, you empathize with martyrs/tortured souls/underdogs/vulnerable/suffering characters, the whump might take place in asylums/foreign places/prisons/dreams/hospitals, or whump doesn’t take place in the material world, the scenario might involve drugs and hallucinations that take the whumpee out of physical boundaries
I’m still learning and it’s missing a lot, so feel free to add your thoughts :) or tag yourself
Prompt:”I’m slightly drunk, but i want your attention anyway.”
Summary: You’re a bit drunk but, you’re hanging out with Leonard and a sleeping Jim.
You went back to Bones’ apartment that night with Kirk because he didn’t want you to be alone even if it meant you wouldn’t talk to him. You did talk, you Kirk and the doctor. All three of you falling asleep on the couch with an empty bottle of wine on the table near you. It was an interesting night but you realised you liked the company. Jim was fast asleep leaning on your shoulder, snoring as loud as anything when you woke up. McCoy was leant across Jim and his head was in your lap. You looked down at him, he didn’t look peaceful, if anything he looked more annoyed than he did when he was awake. Which made you giggle. Leonard stirred slightly but Jim’s snores never stopped, like a sloth he slept for obscene amounts of time when he could.
You hadn’t noticed Leonard looking up at you. So when you looked down and saw him staring you jumped. Breathing fast you blushed and he laughed, Jim woke up for a second before falling asleep again. Bones rolled his eyes at Jim and yawned, you smiled down at him, he looked sleepy.
“I’m gonna go get a drink.” Bones sat up and you stared at him enviously.
“Help me McCoy.” You smirked nodding at Kirk who was still leaning on your shoulder, fast asleep. McCoy laughed quietly and pushed Kirks head onto the back of the sofa so you could stand up. You stretched out your back and upon looking back at Kirk, you put a blanket over him.
“He’ll sleep like a baby for hours.” McCoy told you as you walked into his kitchen. You sat on one of the stools that was up near the kitchen island. McCoy went to the fridge and brought out two beers.
