seeing young teenagers embracing 2007 internet culture/aesthetic/speak in the kidcore/rainbowcore/kiddycore communities is such a beautiful thing. i think its beautiful because ive been around since 2007, and those years were golden for kids having fun and being themselves. the growth of the internet in the last ten years has provided lots of things, some of it being positive, but a lot unfortunately has become a cesspool of hatred.

between teenagers and adults alike on social media, nowadays kids are introduced to this hatred and darkness of the world early on with such easy access to it and it drives them into unhealthy behaviors and mindsets, such as suicide baiting/callout culture (NOT referring to calling out people who actually do very bad harmful things- such as pedophiles, suicide baiters, racist/neo-nazis/etc- making people aware of when they do bad things is good- but i mean the sorts who send hate and suicide bait to innocent 13 year olds over saying something wrong once and stalk them down repeatedly and bully them into suicide and self-harm etc.)

this is what kids are exposed to nowadays, and in these safe communities, people are embracing what redditors/4channers make fun of and call “cringey” and being themselves because it makes them happy. not only this, but kids in these communities moderate themselves and keep out NSFW/kink bloggers that sexualize children and create boundaries to keep their internet exposure safe, because theyre mature enough to do so. these kids embrace this time because its nostalgic and comforting, and has no super bad associations other than those who called it cringey and edgy all these years. the only bad people in these spaces are those who try to invade them.

let people use scene/l33t speak, use XD unironically, and make bright eyebleeding dog OCs. let them love nightcore. just let them enjoy this while they still can, for the love of god. and if they dont grow out of it (like i didnt) leave them be. a majority of these kids are lgbt, autistic, and trauma victims just trying to cope, and then there are just other kids who do it because it makes them happy. they arent harming anyone. if you bully them, you are.

Today is the day we’re officially announcing the Fall Out Boy Fund. We started the fund as a way for us to give back to Chicago, the city that has given so much to us.

To kick things off, we’re donating money to Back to the Roots, an organization that brings gardening and food education to schools and helps inspire kids to experience the magic of growing their own food. With the funds, we’re able to provide 20,000 elementary school kids in the Chicago area with an organic gardening kit and Back to the Roots curriculum to each student.

We’re taking these first steps to become a champion for Chicago, but we’re not stopping there.

With the M A  N   I    A Tour coming up in a few weeks, we want to do something special with the other funds we’ve raised and give back to others in communities across the country. That’s why we came up with the idea for The Champion of the M A  N   I    A Tour, a way to honor local champions and spread a little light during dark times. We want to celebrate people that exemplify kindness, bravery, generosity, and every thing else that brings goodness to the forefront.

Starting today, you’ll be able to nominate yourself, a family member, a loved one or a friend from your local community to be chosen as the #FOBChampion of your show. We’re looking for people who are helping change the world for the better.

There will be one winner for each show on the tour. Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to their local show, and will be brought up on stage and honored during the set (you’ll even get a shoutout on our instagram). BUT the best part is, we’ll be making a donation in the winner’s name to the charity of their choice via the Fall Out Boy Fund.

Can’t wait to see who you nominate 💜  // find out how to enter on championofthemaniatour.com

Just in case I stressed anyone out with that video and you saw the giant mess of embroidery thread… Everything is ok. They are all safe and happily attached to their organizer. I taped them to my wall for ease of finding the strands I need. Then I put the color I am working with on a little embroidery card (not sure what it is called).
Plus, it makes some really cool wall decor 😉

Fully Stocked Organic DIY Face Mask Apothecary Kit by TheSleepingSirens

Here in your fully stocked face mask apothecary you will receive enough ingredients to mix over 30 separate face masks for normal, acne prone, dry, or oily skin types. All of the herbs, clays, and oils included are %100 organic. I have written a booklet included with your kit containing everything you need to know to start building your personalized face masks and skin products. Struggling with sensitive eczema ridden skin my entire adult life has left me with a plethora of trial and error, product research, and recipe building knowledge that I am excited to share with you.

Size of a pad, but fits the world. All of these items were chosen because I have had several instances where I wish I had it. Also, even though I’m not much of a pill person, during stressful “emergency” situations, I don’t usually have the luxury to wait out menstrual cramps or find a soothing remedy to a stomachache. Everyone is different; this is me.

Efficiently,

The Organized Minimalist

Your name: submit What is this?

Your stomach grumbled louder than you would have liked in the silence of your building’s hallway, reacting to the smell of the Big Belly Burger bag in your hand. You had taken the day off to run errands and have lunch with friends, but lunch had been hours ago and you’d walked what felt like a hundred miles all day.

You keyed open your front door, struggling while you held your bags and drink, and nudged it open with your foot. With your elbow you flipped the light switch and walked over to drop everything on the coffee table.

“You should lock your window.” A voice said in the relative silence of the apartment.

GOT7 Reaction to You Falling and Getting a Minor Scrape

Mark
You two are taking a walk in a somewhat secluded park (somewhere he doesn’t have to be worried about being recognized by fangirls) and having a pretty deep conversation about your futures together when you trip over a branch that’s fallen into the path and skid your knee. Mark was sharing his earphones with you before the incident, so even though he was looking away he instantly notices as the earphones rip out of his ears. He quickly throws himself on his knees helping you to sit up with his hand on your back. He doesn’t really know what to say aside from “are you okay?” but he’s worried all the same. “I should’ve been paying more attention, Y/N. I’m sorry.“  He doesn’t have any bandaids or anything to stop the minor bleeding, so even when you tell him it’s no big deal and you can keep walking, he makes you sit there until the bleeding stops. You don’t mind, though, because it gives you two more alone time before returning to the reality that your boyfriend is a huge idol.

Jaebum
You’re backstage at a GOT7 concert for the first time since you started dating JB, and you couldn’t be more excited. You are so excited, in fact, that when you see him appear backstage after their final song, you rush toward him to give him a big hug, tripping on the incoming staff who are trying to bring the boys waters and sweat towels. He probably didn’t see, because you’re still pretty far from him and he’s being surrounded by people now. You look down at your knee just as a hand is placed on your leg. “Seriously, Y/N, what am I going to do if I can’t leave you alone long enough to perform.” He uses some of his water to wash of the wound, and asks the staff to find you some first aid supplies. Until then, he waits with you, and you share some post-show snacks.

Jackson
You went along with Jackson to a film set for one of GOT7’s many projects. While he’s on break, you and Jackson decide to walk to a nearby convenience store to pick up ice creams for you and the boys, but on the way there, you trip on the side walk and get a minor scrape on your knee. With Jackson there is no such thing as a minor injury. When he sees that you have fallen, his expression turns dead serious, and he demands to know if you’re okay. He tells you to stay where you are and to not move a muscle while he runs to the convenience store. Although he forgets the ice creams, he does come back with three first aid kits, some organic teas, and a stack of protein bars. “We can eat ice cream later. You just reminded me how important it is to stay healthy, Y/N.”

Jinyoung
As you walk along the empty street with him, you can’t help but think about how you only ever get to see him at night when no one else is around. “I know it can’t be easy dating someone like me,” he says as if he was reading your mind. Even though that’s the way you feel, you are about to assure him otherwise when you trip on your own foot. Jinyoung turns in time to catch you from face planting, but you’re knee is already slightly scraped. You start to cry, more from your conversation than from the fall, itself, and that makes him extremely nervous. “Come on, Y/N, we should go to the hospital.” “It’s not that bad, plus people will see us together there,” you argue. “You think I care that much about what people think,” he says angrily, “if you’re hurt I would risk everything, even my career. You’re the most important thing to me.“

Youngjae
Youngjae and you decide to take a walk after his practice one day. He has been working so hard lately, and you wanted to do something to take his mind off of practice for a bit. You two start talking about the stars and how you think some of them are in the shape of an otter, but, while you’re looking up at the sky, you trip on something on the ground. Youngjae would be shocked at first and a little loud, but he would quickly calm down, because he knows you need him. “It’s okay, Y/N, I have a bandaid in my pocket for just this reason.” Youngjae would smile as he placed the bandaid on your knee, happy that he could be helpful to you and there for you when you needed someone. “If you want to go back now, you can lean on me.”

Bambam

Noticing you’ve been down lately, Bambam wanted to teach you some dance moves to cheer you up. It was going pretty well, especially since you wanted to learn a girl dance and he knows them all, until you got tripped up at one point and fell down, getting a minor scrape. Not wanting you to be embarrassed, Bambam would regale you with stories of all the times he hurt himself when he was learning to dance. “Maybe if I dab on it, it will make it better.” “I don’t think it works like that.” After he was sure you were up to it, he would finish teaching you the dance and reward you with a kiss on the forehead after. “You worked hard, Y/N.”

Yugyeom

Yugyeom is already fairly shy when it comes to girls, so when you asked him out on a date, you wanted to do everything you possibly could to make it perfect. You made reservations to a new restaurant you knew he has been dying to go to, and you put on heels and dress up because why not. When he gets to the door and knocks, you rush there, opening it and stepping out only to trip over the bottom of the door frame in your heels. “I just wanted to be a little taller,” you say while burying your face in your hands in embarrassment. After hearing that, he makes you change into more comfortable shoes that leave you at your natural height. “There, now you are the perfect height,” he says, smiling, as you walk together to the restaurant. “We should hold hands. That way if you start to fall, I’ll know in time to catch you.“
