kit rewatches babylon 5

I served the Grey Council for sixteen cycles. I was chosen of Dukhat to replace him. I held him when he died. His blood is on my hands, his spirit in my eyes, his word on my lips. You will step aside in his name and mine, or in Valen’s name, I will tear this ship apart with my bare hands until I find them. Move aside.
—  Delenn, Babylon 5 - 3x10 Severed Dreams

I love how the entirety of Sheridan/Delenn in season 2 consists of:

DELENN: Captain! There you are! I was–
SHERIDAN: LOOK DELENN I’M REALLY SORRY BUT I’M IN A BIG HURRY WITH BUSY STUFF AND–
DELENN: WELL I AM TOO GOD DAMN YOU THINK YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE WITH PROBLEMS AROUND HERE? GET A FUCKING MOVE ON YOU’RE SLOWING ME DOWN (storms ahead)
SHERIDAN: … I am going to marry her.

so the opening to season 5 of Babylon 5 is so underwhelming

which is understandable given the previous

season 3: THE COMING OF DESTRUCTION AND SHADOWS!!!!

season 4: IT WAS THE YEAR OF FIRE AND DEATH AND PAIN and a tiny bit of hope BUT NOT MUCH

season 5: *timid patriotic theme?*

I don’t understand how I could have forgotten that Kosh kicks it. Like I had a general understanding that the journey of all these characters extended til the series end, and beyond. AND THEN KOSH KICKS IT. And I’m like, “OMMMGG WHAAAAATT.” Somehow in my head, Kosh has always been there (which I guess technically he is through Sheridan until end of season 4), but I just. That moment where Morden marches in with his associates, I’m just screaming fuuuuuuuuuuuu-
