A (spoiler-free) Backstory for Mystic Timbers at Kings Island:
The Miami River Lumber company opened up their logging operations from an abandoned cabin deep in some mysterious woods. On their first day of operations, April 15, 1983, crew members were seen fleeing the shed in a hurry and accidentally crashing their truck on the way out. The workers got out and continued fleeing on foot, and once more the facility had been abandoned since.
Now riders get to hop in a truck to be taken on a joyride through the mysterious forest. As security tells riders off from venturing any further, they give additional explicit instructions: “Whatever you do… DON’T GO IN THE SHED!”
