This is the time of a revolution in this country. We were massacred over 500 years ago, but we still resist. We have life, we have the power, we will. We are here in Aldeia Maracana, all united in one voice. Ethnicities of the earth unite to tell our stories, our realities, our spiritual lives, our medicine. They stole our culture. We need to wake up, look at our planet destruction. How long will this continue? We need nature to let the rivers flow so that we can feed ourselves. We call on the support of the whole society to give us back our lives and our culture. We want our culture, our history, our songs, our myths, our traditional medicine. We want our freedom. ’
