I understand there’s been some confusion online as to whether it’s ever right to punch a Nazi in the face. There is a compelling argument that all speech is equal and we should trust to the discourse to reveal these ideas for what they are and confidently expect them to be denounced and crushed out by the mechanisms of democracy and freedom.
All I can tell you is, from my perspective as an old English socialist and cultural liberal who is probably way to the woolly left from most of you and actually has a medal for services to free speech — yes, it is always correct to punch Nazis. They lost the right to not be punched in the face when they started spouting genocidal ideologies that in living memory killed millions upon millions of people. And anyone who stands up and respectfully applauds their perfect right to say these things should probably also be punched, because they are clearly surplus to human requirements. Nazis do not need a hug. Nazis do not need to be indulged. Their world doesn’t get better until you’ve been removed from it. Your false equivalences mean nothing. Their agenda is always, always, extermination. Nazis need a punch in the face.
I cried laughing when he spilled the water... thank you for posting this!!
You’re welcome!! 😊😊😊
I think what made it even funnier was the fact that he just messed up Proud Lady and was joking about it and was like “We had that moment together, so thank you.” and then BAM! Spill. “This is becoming a comedy hour.” with his little giggle. So funny and adorable.
This whole argument was great because this guy was giving me shit for having bad aim and therefore playing Symm but in the end he only was able to kill me once with his ult which is basically auto-aim but not before I killed his ass and honestly I just live for the overwatch salt on pc why did I ever play on ps4 I was missing out.
Granted though I have terrible aim that’s why I’m in qp :’)
Glaucas target is the King, Drautos is just trying to stay alive, and for those brief moments all he can think about is getting that ring. Taking it back to Niflheim, saving their home, his home, the Glaives.
Were it so simple as that.
Drautos knew the armour was merely a symbol with a bite, an archon of war culminating the new founded power within Niflheims technological advancements. Glauca wanted the ring, the ring and return of his home from a king that did nothing to save it. Would do nothing to save it.
He cut the Kings hand, didn’t matter where, the clink of the Lucii ring against the floor. Technically, to Drautos, the King is not longer his target. Personally, to Glauca, he is.
That’s when he sees Nyx, struggling to find himself in a room of royalty, the only one of the room that didn’t belong there, the only one Drautos wanted to keep safe.
Glauca reacts out of pure instinct, Drautos quietens his heart. Nyx doesn’t know it’s him and fights just as fiercely as he does in war, his strength and anger fuelled by a loyalty to a King, loyalty to his job and position as a Glaive.
Drautos knows how he moves, Glauca defends. When Nyx warps above him Drautos remembers the very moment he taught the Glaive the move, fourth week of training just when they were starting to come to terms that no one understood quite how warping worked. ‘Unpredictable’ he told them, ‘keep it close enough for them to think twice about their next attack and think that maybe you don’t care if you died’. Glauca grabs that blade out of the air feeling the sucking rush of magic as Nyx reforms in their world. When he throws the man down Drautos stops.
Glauca screams in his head, kill the Glaive he’s no longer needed, a hindrance, he won’t understand.
But Drautos doesn’t want to, not if he can prevent it. Nyx Ulric is a good person, a good Glaive. He doesn’t need to die.
Drautos doesn’t want him to.
More than 10.000 protesters in Bucharest, and almost 10.000 in Cluj, and more people in Iasi, Timisoara and other Romanian cities: we won’t stop now. No corruption in Romania, because corruption kills. And we want to live, finally, in our own beautiful country.
I’m in a relationship with a polyamorous man and I’m monogamous. Both of us know that we were meant to be together and that we’re definitely 100% soulmates. Recently he just started dating another person and things are starting to go downhill. He knows it hurts me and I know it hurts him. He says that seeing me unhappy kills him and vice versa. We couldn’t break up with each other, that would just kill us both, but either way one of us is going to be unhappy and we don’t know what to do.
There is no magical solution here. If your friend told you “It just kills me to not be able to see penguins outside my window every morning - I can’t be happy without that! But it also kills me to live in Antartica - I simply can’t be happy in the cold!” - what advice would you give your friend?
I’d caution you to take a step back from the drama of it all: it will not actually kill you to be sad. You will not die from not getting what you want. The stakes here are actually much lower than that. Feeling bad is survivable. Also, you have really backed yourself into an emotional corner with the “meant to be together and definitely 100% soulmates” claim. Think honestly with yourself about whether you are mistaking an intense feeling for an empirical reality.
You two can figure this out. You need to either find a compromise that lets you two grow in this relationship together, or you need to make the painful decision to end a relationship. It is okay for two people to really like each other, but be unable to make a romantic relationship work. It happens. There is no immutable force of nature or law of physics that dictates that you two must be together, or cannot be happy without each other.
Mila, you're an omniscient being who most likely knows all of Yura's secrets. Are these rumors about him and JJ true? All of Yuri's Angels are talking about it and it would be good to know the facts. I mean, we know you would never tell us a lie.
Somehow I feel like a glow cloud… Anyway, back to your question. Well, Yuri-chan used to whine too often about JJ, but lately he never brings him up, I don’t know why. Probably he is too occupied sending messages to Otabek now.
Not actual cat, but acting like one. This was inspired by our family cat Ulrike.
- Saeran living with Saeyoung and MC at Saeyoungs place. Has trust issues and dont want to let people near, physically or emotionally, because he fears either hurting them or they abandoning him. Saeyoung feels hear broken about it but hopes time will heal Saerans wounds. - For Saeran its still difficult to fully trust Saeyoung, but he never really has had anything against MC. He is lowkey interested in MC, not romantically, but as a some sort of normal and healthy human contact, that he has been lacking. But he dont really know how to communicate and keeps rejecting all their attempts to make contact. -MC figures its best to let Saeran come to them with his own terms. That’s what he starts doing. Saeyoung is still busy with work so he’s locked up in his room most of the days. MC kills time with watching tv everyday on the living room. Saeran likes to sit on the other side of the room watching MC watch tv. - At first this creeped MC out, but they figured its Saerans way of trying to make contact and enjoy company. If they tried to talk to him or even pay any attention to him, he would just run out. So MC just lets him watch them in silence and they eventually got used to it and it doesn’t feel weird anymore. - Time goes by. MC spends great amount of time every day watching tv like this, to try reach out to Saeran. They are able to have some sort of one sided conversation with him when they pretend to be talking to themselves commenting stuff on tv. It works out and Saeran wont run away as long as they dont look at him while speaking. - Saeran start changing his seat little by little closer to MC. MC must never comment on this or he would get embarrassed and stay further away for days. Eventually, his on the same couch with MC. At first MC must act like he isnt there and not give him any attention, but as time goes by he will let them look at him. Little by little they start even getting some eye contact. - Eye contact seems to some sort of breaking point for Saeran. After that, he starts getting huge steps ahead letting MC touch him and being physically close to them. Eventually, they spend every day time sitting side by side in the couch, MC sometimes petting his shoulder or holding his hand. -MC is very proud of Saerans first human contact after everything that went down on Mint Eye. Saeran has become attached to MC, he would not leave anywhere without them. MC is only one who is allowed to touch him, Saeyoung included. Saeran is also super protective about MC. - Saeyoung tries not to be jealous of all the attention and affection that Saeran is having. After all, he is happy for him doing better and glad to see him trusting someone, even if he still cant fully trust him. Saeran in the other hand is jealous of Saeyoung. Not in the fact that they are in relationship and he would like to be in relationship with MC, but the fact that Saeyoung gets affection and he doesnt. Sometimes we would knock stuff out of the table in jealousy. Its getting on Saeyoung and MC’s nerves but they try not to get mad at him and yell because they fear of losing all the progress with him. MC tries to find solution for that by reading guide books on cats. - Saeyoung and MC have to take him everywhere with them, he doesn’t really handle being alone in the house. He freaks out and fears that they left him and never come back. - Yoosung is pretty good with Saeran too. He knows how to deal with startled animals. MC lowkey tries to pair them up. They just hope he could be someone elses problem for while. Still, he would not be left alone in anyone’s company without MC.
