kill the humans and save the forest

Please explain to me why Sakura’s feelings are romantic and Naruto’s are not.

Both:

- Wanted Sasuke to come back to the village

- Cried over Sasuke

- Talked about how much they cared for Sasuke

- Missed Sasuke

Sakura:

- GAVE UP trying to save him because she didn’t get his point of view

- Tried to kill him

- Acted more like a fangirl than a love interest

- Wasn’t really willing to sacrifice much for him. Although, to be fair, she did help him in the Forest of Death and maybe attempted to help a couple times.

Naruto:

- Literally never gave up on Sasuke, even after he had made his intentions clear.

- Never tried to kill Sasuke, fought to protect himself when necessary.

- Saw Sasuke as a real human being, versus a trophy, and actually cared about him feeling lonely.

- Was willing to die with Sasuke, let himself get beaten up over Sasuke, fight dangerous enemies like Orochimaru, go against the wishes of his beloved village, etc.

- Spent FIVE hours straight thinking about Sasuke.

- Left his home for three years to become stronger, for the purpose of rescuing Sasuke. When he got home he brushed off their team photo and said, “Sasuke, I’m home.” Uh..gay.

- Clutched his heart and whispered Sasuke’s name when he saw a shooting star…nothing more needs to be said about that.

- Released Karuma’s power for the first time because of Sasuke.

- Had a panic attack at the thought of Sasuke dying.

- Was the one whose feelings had the most impact on Sasuke.

Please, tell me what I’m missing here. The only advantage Sakura seems to have is a vagina, which Sasuke has shown no interest in.

Clexa Werewolf Au:

I’ve seen a ton of werewolf au’s for different otp’s so I was so upset to see there wasn’t one for Clexa- so I made one!

So basically the idea of this, is that the people of the ark, belong to a kingdom closed in by walls, and the grounders are all werewolves known as savages to them. The kingdom wants to stop sending so many good people t their deaths by sending them to kill the ‘savages’ so they send out 100 of their criminals out of the walls. It is practically a death sentence, but if they can survive and kill the ‘savages’ they can come back to the kingdom and live as nobles. At first everything goes to plan, but when Clarke finds herself lost and cornered by savages of the ice nation and is saved by Lexa, the heir of the forest, she begins to see that the ‘savages’ aren’t at all what they thought them to be.

A key difference about this au’s werewolves and the typical idea of werewolves, is that they don’t transform into giant killer wolves at night. Instead the form you see them as- mostly human with wolf ears, fangs, and a tail, is their permanent form. The males have more hair that go down their necks and backs. They also can control themselves but get wolf like instincts when they are in states of fear.

There isn’t really an alpha omega dynamic among the wolves, but they do have leaders of each pack. Everyone else is considered equal though and other than their hunting, they are pretty much normal people.

This is one of many incidents in which orangutans are captured when they are seen outside their forests in desperate need to find food as their homes are wiped away. In this case, local villagers captured and detained a mother and her child, later attempting to drown the her; horrendous. By the time the British veterinarians arrived to the scene of the incident, it was too late to save the mother, however the child lived. It seems that these beautiful specimens cannot win. Either their homes are wiped away for our unnecessary benefit, or they are killed instantly and in some cases kept alive in disgusting conditions for human amusement.

Should You Fight the Werewolf: the Apocalypse Tribes?

Black Furies: Okay, in theory you could fight the Black Furies. Keep in mind, though: they’ve got no qualms about doing what it takes to win, and they’ll probably just put arrows through you before you have a chance to swing a punch. Even if you win, you’re going to have their entire tribe on your asses. Save yourself the pain. Don’t fight the Black Furies.

Bone Gnawers: Fighting the Bone Gnawers just really isn’t fair. You’re literally kicking the last person on the pecking order. Why would you heap even more crap on them? It’s just pointless. Plus, if you try to fight them, they’re just going to shank you in the kidneys. Don’t fight the Bone Gnawers.

Children of Gaia: The Children of Gaia are quite literally the chillest Garou in the world unless pushed over and over again. Fighting them means you’re deliberately trying to piss them off, and that’s just a dick move. Their totem is Unicorn. Unicorn! They practically have a rainbow trail behind them, for God’s sake. Don’t fight the Children of Gaia.

Fianna: There’s one thing the Fianna love more than a good fight, and it’s the post-fight drinking session. Sure, they’ll tear the house down with you, but they’re more than happy to spend the next day or two rebuilding the house over a few (dozen) drinks. It’s a good time all around, and odds are they won’t hold a grudge. Fight the Fianna.

Get of Fenris: Okay, this is just asking for it. The Get of Fenris reason for being is to fight and kill. Their entire schtick is “we fight, we fight some more, we die gloriously, and then we go to the afterlife…where we fight a bunch more to get ready for one REALLY BIG FIGHT AT THE END OF TIME!” I’d say don’t fight the Get of Fenris, but they’re gonna end up fighting you anyway.

Glass Walkers: The Glass Walkers are the worst werewolves ever. They fight with guns, they use computers, and they live in the cities. The only way they could be worse is if they ran around going “meow meow I’m a kitty”. Someone needs to deck these bastards in the schnoz, and if you’re the one to do it I’ll pay you well. Fight the Glass Walkers.

Red Talons: These are the most vicious and anti-human bastards in the Nation. They’ll just as soon rip your throat out as piss on you, and those ARE the range of options. The trick is, they’re very good at what they do. If you’re going to fight them, you want to go in ready…but save yourself the trouble of having your house swallowed by a forest. Don’t fight the Red Talons.

Shadow Lords: The Shadow Lords are what would happen if someone infected Batman with lycanthropy and took away his problems with killing. That should tell you all you need to know. Don’t fight the Shadow Lords.

Silent Striders: Ever box with Nightcrawler? No? That’s what fighting the Silent Striders is like. They hit and run and hit and run again. These are people whose reaction to being hit with a giant blood curse by the Followers of Set was to go “alright, we’re going to get REALLY GOOD at killing you!” They can hold a grudge like a mother, and that’s not something you want. Don’t fight the Silent Striders.

Silver Fangs: Allegedly, they’re bred to rule. Unless they’re Ahrouns, though, you should be just fine with stepping up and taking a whack. Realistically speaking, the most dangerous things they can do involve dropping the mind-whammy on someone. If you have the opportunity and you won’t get someone dropping the klaive on you, step on up and lay ‘em out. Fight the Silver Fangs.

Stargazers: Fighting the Stargazers is like picking a fight with a Buddhist monk. There’s a chance you’ll find a nonviolent person who contemplates the meaning of existence and swore to never harm a fly, and there’s a chance who’ll turn around and whoop your ass seven ways to Sunday. It’s a roll of the dice. The upside is that even if they do beat on you, they’ll probably call it a lesson on existence, so you’re not in danger of further reprisal. Give it a shot, you might learn something. Fight the Stargazers.

Uktena: These are the most enigmatic bastards you can find. Ask them a question, and they’ll give you a riddle. Even Chimera isn’t that confusing, and his entire thing is being enigmatic. Even if you lose this fight, you can probably earn some brownie points from other people by at least trying. Go for it. Fight the Uktena.

Wendigo: Where the Get of Fenris’s thing is that they’ll kill you, the Wendigo will kill you and be damn unkillable themselves. They can take tank fire and still keep going. If you start fighting one, though, there’s an easy way to get out of things: walk away. It’s probably the smartest thing you can do if you get into it with one. You’re starting a war that you don’t want. Don’t fight the Wendigo

Gravity Falls AU:

Ford goes to Gravity Falls, and, instead of researching the monsters, he goes there to kill them. He eventually gets Fiddleford to help him with a memory erasing gun, creating the Society of the Blind Eye, only it’s more powerful and efficient. It’s more of a hierarchy, with people higher in the ranks not being allowed to use the gun as much. This allows for better enforcement of rules and better suppresion of memories; if anyone comes to town looking for information on it’s more interesting backstory, half the population doesn’t know what you’re talking about and the other half is out to get you for it.

So Ford goes out and kills monsters, sparing some every now and then as allies, but ready to kill them if they step out of line or aren’t of any more use. He does this because he believes that anomalies do nothing but harm. His 11th and 12th fingers, for example, only brought him and his brother pain and suffering throughout their childhood. Ford eventually finds out about Bill, and has his dream meeting. They end up working on a device that extracts anomalous abilities rather than a portal; Ford wants to harness magic.

One day, after this machine is built, Ford takes down a pack of Blink Dogs, a monster based on D&D. They’re basically dogs that can teleport at will. The pack leader just so happened to be an especially powerful blink dog who could teleport not only from place to place, but dimension to dimension. This dog had a younger brother dog who could do the same, but Ford chose this one to battle. The dog ended up teleporting him to another dimension, and they ended up having an interdimensional battle that ended up with Ford chasing it down through multiple dimensions.

Ford still has the Journals, but he hides them in different places in the forest so that a brain-washed citizen wouldn’t stumble upon them. Unfortunately, Journal 2 fell to ground as Ford was interdimensionally teleported by the Blink Dog, so Gideon ended up finding it. The Gleefuls bribed the SotBE into letting them keep their memories.

Stan ends up coming to Gravity Falls and saving Ford about on schedule by killing the other Blink Dog and using the anomaly machine to pull Ford back to his dimension.

When Dipper and Mabel come to Gravity Falls, the monsters in the forest are less plentiful, and more paranoid, and especially xenophobic towards humans. The SotBE are out to get them, and McGucket is kinda like a cult leader. He still has about half of his mind left….

Anyways, that’s all I’ve got. I should probably write some fanfics, but this is public property.

Things that make me Really Really Sad about Until Dawn
  • The last time Chris and Josh see each other alive, they’re fighting and calling each other names and Chris even has the option to hit Josh.
  • Wendigo Hannah still shows signs of having memories of her human self. She attacks Jess first (Mike’s new GF/the girl who instigated the whole prank in the first place), avoids attacking Mike til the end/stalks him and Jess through the forest like she doesn’t want him to see her as a monster but is still pining after him. Either that, or she’s saving her revenge on him for last…
  • Sam either being gutted at the very end by her best friend, or Sam being the one to have to kill Hannah. Wondering if the little bit of human left in Hannah tried to resist killing Sam but gave into her Wendigo instinct instead, and if a part of her felt really really sorry as she ripped Sam’s stomach open.
  • Hannah’s last diary/imagining Hannah trapped down there fighting the urge to resort to eating her sister/imagining her transformation into a Wendigo.
  • Wendigo Hannah’s eyes, and how expressive/still vaguely human they are compared to the other Wendigos’ eyes, which are just black.
  • Wendigo Josh.
  • The fact that the others don’t think “hey, now that the lodge is blown up and the Wendigos are gone, let’s send the rescue team IMMEDIATELY into the mines to see if Josh survived.” The fact that they just give him up for dead.
  • There is no such thing as a happy ending for the Washingtons.

In the early 1900’s there were about 100,000 tigers roaming wild. Now there are only about 3,200 left according to the World Wildlife Fund. Unless something is done, they will be extinct within the next 10-20 years.

Endangered wild tigers are now more likelier than ever to become extinct. Everywhere tigers exist, they endure endless pressure from severe habitat loss, illegal poaching for their bones, skin, and meat, and killings from locals in retaliation to a mauling or killing of a person. But, this was bound to happen, as we are pushing our boundaries across their habitat.

They are also losing ground, as humans continue to log forests, pushing the tiger to become even more displaced and stressed. There are eight original subspecies, and three are now extinct, and this happened in a span of half a century. An average of one becoming extinct every 15-20 years.

Kindly share everyone!

2. Step father hired assassin to kill her and her mother, ___ years after her birth before anyone could notice and make further assumption of her impurity and race.
3. Overhears the talk with assassin, finds mother dead, takes what she can and escapes to the cold winter forest.

Sorry for the double post I just wanted to put these two arts together. Dedicated to @themasterofvillainy :) Thank you for all your sweet support.

Here’s the story for this Vampire!AU:

Ben Solo was a terminally ill with pneumonia in the 1800s. While on his death bed, Han and Leia are approached by a strange man that called himself Snoke. He promised he’d be able to cure Ben and save his life. Snoke fulfilled his promise of course but Ben was never the same and eventually ran away with his maker to became Kylo Ren. ( Compelled by his incredible urges to kill and drink the blood of the humans around him, he accidentally kills a child and drains them. This causes him to finally decide it’s time for him to leave his old life behind.)  He grows and learns the ways of surviving as a vampire from Snoke, killing and draining anyone that wanders too far into the secluded forest where their nest, an abandoned house tucked far into the woods, is located.

Until one day, when a ginger-haired teen, desperate to flee his abusive father attempts to run away and seek refuge in the forest where Snoke and Ren reside. Luckily it is Ren that intercepts him, but the vampire soon realizes his prey smells and looks more delicious than any human he has ever encountered. He also notices that this human is injured and would likely taste even better when in full health, so he takes him back to the nest, where Snoke allows him to house this little pet until he’s healthy enough to devour. Ren however finds his human, who’s name is Hux, to be rather charming, and to Ren’s delight, Hux lets him drink his blood at will as long as he doesn’t take too much. Snoke does not approve of this relationship and tries to kill Hux himself, causing Both Ren and Hux to flee deeper into the forest and begin a new life together, forever on the run from Ren’s former maker, who never seems too far behind.

It’s not like Eren hasn’t failed because of his emotions before.

He recklessly ran into a Titan’s mouth because his emotions got better of him.

He was absolutely overcome by rage and emotion when fighting Annie in the forest and lost because of that.

He completely let his emotions get better of him when he was sitting in the forest with Ymir, Bert and Reiner.

Finally, he put Armin above Erwin in his rashness.

What is the commonality between all of them? Genuine care for his friends. Care for Thomas, for Levi squad, for his mother, for Armin.

You know what, there is also the opposite side of this.

As a little kid Eren killed people to save Mikasa.

Eren jumped into a Titan’s mouth to save Armin.

Eren blocked the hole in Trost and gave humanity it’s first victory.

Eren stood up just in his weak human form, to punch a Titan, in the end to protect Mikasa.

Eren pulled himself together and in the end saved the new Levi squad’s life with his resolve.

Eren defeated the Colossal Titan in his human form, not with revenge in mind, but with duty.

Admin A’s notes: So this is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine, it’s just the perfect mix of AU and canon to suit my taste. What makes this so special to me is how John’s A+ parenting shows through Dean’s character even when he’s not present, and when he is, well there will be drama. A lot of drama. So clear up your schedules and start reading.

Summary: Castiel moved to the woods of Wyoming to practice his white magic without his family’s interference. He lived a simple life with his cat and a gray wolf as his only companions. The people of the small town across the river know what he is and are protective of him.

Dean Winchester is a hunter. He is deep in the wilderness searching for a wendingo when he falls through the ice. Before he loses consciousness, he sees a huge gray wolf-like creature.

Castiel brings the near frozen man into his home and nurses him. Will the distrust Dean has of all witches stop him from falling for the man who saved his life?

Title: Hart of the Storm

Author: almaasi

Rating: Explicit

Words: 119,232 – Finished

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★ ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: I know I say this every time but you really can’t go wrong with almaasi’s fics. This one, just like everything else she writes is pure awesomeness and I’ve read this particular story three times already. Lol I have a major thing for fairytale type of fics and this is perfect for that genre!

Summary: Historical AU. One by one, people disappear into the forest. A hunter named Dean is employed to bring them back, and eliminate the danger while he’s at it. His search leads him to Castiel, the forest’s resident deity: a shapeshifting stag, glowing with all the power of a thunderstorm. Thinking Castiel is the monster he’s been sent to kill, Dean falls prey to the forest’s magical defence and is transformed into a deer. Castiel commits to caring for him while he recovers – and Dean lets it happen, holding onto hope that Cas can make him human again. Meanwhile, other people embark on their own quests to save friends and family: Missouri, Dean’s surrogate mother; the young Native American schoolteacher, Elsie; Dean’s own brother, Sam, alongside Charlie, Elsie’s lady love. Like the others, they vanish without a trace amongst the trees. What is taking them? And will they ever come back out?

Title: Blood and Coffee

Author: Trashland (Daderain)

Rating: Teen And Up Audiences

Words: 8,027 – Finished

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★ ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: This took me by surprise since Cas being a vampire didn’t sit well with me and I was stuck with the mental image of sparking Edward-type-of-a-Cas. Luckily that was not the case here! This was just a cute and fluffy bakery Au and I’m probably going to read this again when I’m done with the still to be read list that’s seemingly endless…

Summary: He stepped through the swinging door, brushing his hands on his apron, and taking the keys off the hook under the register. At first he didn’t see the man Kevin was talking about but then he appeared, melting out of the shadows of the early morning, and stepped up to the entrance. Dean gave him a quick once over and could immediately see why Kevin had been unnerved.

The guy was tall, not quite as tall as Dean but pretty close, with a slim build, messy dark hair and naturally tan skin. He was wearing a rumpled business suit (which Dean thought was odd since it was only six-thirty in the morning. Did the guy just not own an iron?) and a tan trench coat that seemed a little big on him, the sleeves falling almost to his fingertips. He had a handsome face, with sharp cheekbones, a defined jawline, and just the right amount of stubble. Honestly, Dean thought the guy was pretty hot except for one thing – he was a vampire.

Title: Ignite

Author: AngelOfTheMoor

Rating: Explicit

Words: 86,654 – Finished

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: Another vampire Cas fic. This one however did not really work for me, it was okay while I read it but nothing overly spectacular, you know one of those that you sort of forget after you are done with it. Damn that sounds harsh, but you have to keep in mind that I read A LOT! Like closer to 100k of words each day, maybe even more.

Summary: While investigating a lead regarding a serial killer, Dean Winchester suffers a beating. When he wakes up, he discovers a stranger named Castiel has been caring for him. But Castiel has a secret–he is a vampire. He is not like other vampires, however. His mission is to protect humankind, and he has been pursuing the serial killer, too. Will the friendship between Dean and Castiel endure the trials ahead? Will their mutual attraction develop into something more?

Title: To Know You and Be Known

Author: SailorChibi

Rating: Mature

Words: 35,334 – Finished

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: I liked this fic a lot the first time I read this, but now I kind of wish it was longer. I need more backstory to the characters, more emotions and just more everything. Still, this was a pretty great read and I did enjoy it a lot!

Summary: The worst night of Dean’s life was the night his little brother died and he became a monster. He’s spent the last thirteen years struggling to prove to his father that he still possesses even a shred of humanity, that John’s decision to spare his life that night wasn’t a mistake.

He never imagined that it would take John’s death for Dean to find his proof in the arms of Castiel, a werewolf just like him.

Title: Enchanted Tea Emporium

Author: mazedoodle, violue

Rating: Teen And Up Audiences

Words: 10,178 – Finished

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★ ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: This fic is fantastic! The only thing I want to point out (this doesn’t just apply to this fic but to all fics with this same “issue) is that I don’t think Dean swears that much. I’ve noticed that many authors like to overuse the word fuck when Dean’s talking and I just think that’s totally unnecessary since Dean really doesn’t swear that much. Lol that was random, just wanted to point that out.

Summary: As an experienced witch, Castiel has seen many captivating sights in his life. However, nothing he’s seen has ever had him quite as entranced as the sight of the man in the flower shop across the road, unloading items from the back of a truck.

Admin A’s notes: I love this fic, lol that’s all I got to say.

Summary: “We all know that Familiars will be the closest to you. Your bond with a Familiar will transcend family, friends, and even your future husband or wife. A Familiar becomes a part of you, and you a part of them.” Mr. Adler’s dull tone rolls across the auditorium and it’s clear to everyone that he doesn’t care about the topic. It makes Castiel feel bad for his Familiar. “Now, can anyone tell me why Witches need Familiars and why they need us?”

Title: Willowsbend verse

Author: miss_grey

Rating: Explicit

Words: 69,867 – 6 Parts

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★ ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: This is one of those light reads, nothing too angsty and just light. Lol I don’t know how to explain it. I’ve read this twice already and I’m always waiting for the new additions to this verse.

Summary:  In the town of Willowsbend, the Supernatural police unit went by the name of Dean Winchester. Unfortunately for Dean, the Supernatural population of Willowsbend was zero. So Dean spent the majority of his time calming paranoid housewives when their pipes rattled and chasing off wildlife that over-zealous citizens were sure must be shifters. It’s a tiring job, full of false-starts and hysterical old ladies. It’s a rare day that Dean has to deal with anything truly Supernatural. That’s about to change, and it all begins with the arrival of one Castiel Novak.

Title: Cursed Or Not

Author: Ltleflrt

Rating: Explicit

Words: 115,223 – Finished

Admin’s assessment: ★ ★ ★

Admin A’s notes: At first I liked this but then for some reason my interest was just lost and I kind of left this fic and never picked it up again…  I never actually finished reading this (lol I’m always trying to be honest), so I can’t really say whether or not I liked it. Even though the fact that I never finished it should maybe say something. I don’t know. Go read it and judge it yourself.

Summary: While experimenting with magic when he was a kid, Sam accidentally cursed Dean. Now, Dean is forced to wear a spelled amulet constantly, or he’ll turn into a random animal. For a little over a decade, he’s learned to live with the curse, and has even found it useful in some cases, but he sure would be happier without it.

When he meets a witch named Castiel, he’s offered a deal. Instead of assuming all witches are bad, Dean can spend a season getting to know him. If at the end of the season, Dean still thinks he’s evil Castiel will send him away with his memory wiped of the whole experience. But if he learns that Castiel is not the monster Dean assumes he is, he’ll lift Dean’s curse.

It’s an offer Dean can’t bring himself to pass up.

Character Info [Uppertale]

I’m gonna write this out so that I won’t forget, It’s very important that I remember; if you have any questions about the AU feel free to ask.

—-

Frisk - Sent by the humans to save them by killing the king of the monsters so that they can claim themselves back to the surface as rightfully theirs..

Flowey - A talking flower that the human encountered in the middle of the forest, saying only discouraging and taunting words.

Toriel - A kind elderly monster, took pity into the human and tried to raise them as her own.. Sadly, it never worked out.

Papyrus [The star of the AU] - A self-proclaimed great detective of the surface but is never acknowledged by Undyne as one because he has never actually succeeded in a case, but he tries to prove it to her by solving the murders happening lately.

Sans - The great Papyrus’ assistant, he is lazy and laid-back, however he seems to be keeping something and it has something to do with that key hanging around his neck.

Undyne - The one leading the group of police (dogs) to track down the murderer that is killing innocent monsters and protect the king from any harms way.

Alphys - A royal doctor working for the king, however her quick way to living in complete wealth is questionable, she has not shown any recent medicine and lock herself at her home..

Asgore Dreemurr - The king of the monsters, ruling all that lives on the surface, he carries the scar that was left by the war, his entire left arm gone. He is ill.

—-

Gaster - The one telling the story. (In his perspective.) / The previous royal doctor.

Thick, Lush Old Growth Redwood Forest

Less than 5% of the old growth redwoods survived the human massacre. This grove was supposed to be logged 100 years ago and was one of the first places purchased with private money to save for future public use. I’m so thankful for that foresight, but sad at the shortsightedness that killed the other 95%.
