Kiritani Kenta (31) was voted as Best Supporting Actor for “BECK,” while Kiki Kirin (68) picked up Best Supporting Actress for “Akunin.”
The title of Best Director went to Sono Sion for “Tsumetai Nettaigyo” (“Cold Fish”), and Best Screenplay went to Takahashi Izumi for “Solanin.” Yasukawa Goro received Best Music for “Chonmage Purin.”
Yuuya Uchida and Kirin Kiki. Total badasses. Mind you, they were wed in 1973. Although Uchida attempted divorce in 1981 (he was sued by Kiki so their divorce wasn’t settled) and they have been separated for decades, they still keep in touch via FAX- they have reportedly been keeping in touch for at least once a month.
When I see stuff like this, I have faith in love again.
