kids shows are rad

why doesn’t anyone on Tumblr ever talk about Dinosaur Train though

I mean

it’s a show about a baby T-rex who was adopted by a pterodon family

and he just lives in the nest with them and nobody cares that he’s adopted he just does everything like they do it’s great

and every episode they go on a really awesome train pulled by a steam locomotive and it goes to all different periods in the Mesozoic Era through a special time tunnel

and when they get to places they LEARN ABOUT ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF DINOSAURS HOW RAD IS THAT

THIS IS A GREAT KIDS’ SHOW GET OUT

LOOK EVERYONE A DINOSAUR DRESSED AS A CONDUCTOR WHY AREN’T YOU WATCHING THIS SHOW

Quickie speed-paint doodle thing.

Codename: Kids Next Door was such a rad show. Being a kid and watching a show with awesome kids doing awesome things was such a confidence booster for someone who was constantly being shamed for their childish-ness and told to “grow-up already”.

Also, numbah three was the bomb-diggity!

Sooooooo...if Monokuma gave nicknames to everyone in DR1, what about the SDR2 cast? They probably have cheesy and incredibly ridiculous nicknames as well.

And of course…
Monomi: Mini-mono-me… wait no, that’s way too old of a reference, how about Lola? Wait no, the kids don’t remember Space Jam. Ahh whatever. Your name is officially Poop Chute. Go, Poop Chute! Show these kids a rad ol’ island adventure! YOU CAN DO IT, POOP CHUTE!

I’m watching the Kids Choice Awards and almost balling as they give Dan Schneider the first ever Nickelodeon Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the guy behind Drake & Josh, iCarly, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101, Victorious, Sam & Cat, and I’m happy for the bloke for making such awesome shows for kids (and adult kids like myself). What a fucking rad dude.
