Narrator: This is Stephanie Meanswell and Trixie Troubleby. Stephanie is the girl on the left with the pink hair and the striped dress. Trixie is the kid on the right with the slingshot and the triple pigtails. Remember that now.
If they don't have a kid, who would take Ciri's place? Pidge? Allura?
As of right now, it’s not a kid they’re searching for. In our au Keith is looking for Shiro who disappeared.
I have yet to actually finish the game, but the things we have right now for the au, doesn’t follow up completely with the story of the game anyway. Their backstories are different, and further plot is different, and im not even sure if it’s going to be following the game storyline yet. What we have so far strays a bit from the game plot already, so it’s probably gonna be more of… inspired by the game, rather than following, does that make sense?
How does each Matsu bro react when his kid comes home with a black eye?
Osomatsu: He praises the kid!!! “did you win? Aw man thats one hell of a shinier right there!” Some steak and some masculine ego stroking for his child. No matter the gender.
Karamatsu: Is already calling the school, He’ll solve the issue with words sure, but if the other parent doesn’t square up and acts like a douche, Kara Is fully capable of throwing a punch.
Choromatsu: Shrieks, asking if his child is okay. Definitely the parent that calls and yells asking if his child is really safe. Coddling the baby, but if they started it he will ground them.
Ichimatsu: gives them some frozen peas and cuddles them. Though he takes them to school and goes into the office himself, everyone is terrified of him already.
Jyushimatsu: Also proud!!! His child is hardcore now in his mind though even if they did lose. “Your defense is up now right?! Good!”
Todomatsu: “Who did this to you? Didn’t I tell you to pick fights if you know you’ll win?” He sighs, guessing he’ll have to be the one at the PTA who brings up the little shit that hurt his child, noting the “aggressive” behavior once; than watch the chaos unfold as no one goes to that kids birthday party. F you Karen.
Clary might not remember your first meeting but how did she act once she met you, Magnus? She must've been very adorable as a little kid. You've really grown to love her, right?
Magnus - I will admit, I do have a soft spot for her. She’s important to me, we’re friends, although I do feel more of an uncle role to her… When I first met her she was terrified, she met her first demon and she was young. I did my best to calm her and subside her fears.
Lmao nope the only joke here is annoying tumblr-washed kids hating on others for ships they have every right to ship. If you’re one of them please feel free to grow tf up and stop ruining fandoms for everyone else :)
Aww! Lil Weechesters meeting their older counterparts! And if there’s a wee Sammers and Dean, there’s a wee lil Oz in the room too, looking out at all these people so nervously! Older smol Dean will have to coax his younger buddy out so he can get to know them all.
Wee lil Ozzie riding around on Spritely Sam’s shoulders like Vel does tho.
BT Sam will be running around to introduce himself to everyone, including John and Sherlock, since clearly they know his older (older) brother, they’ve gotta be nice guys, right? He wants to know everything about them and has a million questions saved up for when they’re around.
John would have absolutely no evens meeting kiddo versions of Sam and Dean, careful with every word and movement. It’s something special, to have trust and strong interest from such a small kid.
Sherlock, of course, would be fascinated right back, offering his own questions in return. He wonders about how much their personalities have and haven’t changed over the years they’ve been small, and meeting their kiddo selves would definitely be informative.
Aww jeez. Kiddo Oscar meeting versions of his Sam and Dean all grown up. He’d be so shy with everything going on, I can see him attaching himself to one of the Winchesters just so he has someone to hide behind. Y’know, just in case.
At least with him around, extra tiny Jacob would have someone a little closer to his height. Oscar finding himself actually taller than someone would be amusing, he’d have to show off to Dean!
Have a question for us? Ask away! And don’t feel like it has to be just about the stories! We’re open to talk about anything!
I think it was actually a really smart move to ask for a lawyer and to not respond. Everything you say can be used against you in the court of law
Precisely. And this was someone already outed as deeply corrupt, working with illegally obtained documentation (that wasn’t, but still)—-who was trying to coerce a confession from him (the actual way the kids to whom Juggie alluded were convicted). You have basic civil rights for a reason and you should ALWAYS exercise them fully.
And not only was Juggie fully within his already violated rights, but absolute NONE of this was any of Roscoe’s fucking business—and, again, based on basic constitutional rights..(privacy, unreasonable search and seizure, etc)
Wah I really wish they made playgrounds and play places for adults and teens I miss playing on those so much.. . .. .I also wish it wasn't thought of as weird when someone who's not a little kid wants to play on them. ;w;
Right?? Though I look like a kid and probably wouldn’t get weird looks regardless, I still wish it were more socially acceptable for big kids and adults to have fun on playgrounds and arcades and stuff :c
Most of us guessed that Navy would end up betraying everyone by the end of the episode.
I don’t think most of us expected that having her go from this:
would be really good for Lapis’ mental health.
And despite certain people’s fears about certain story boarders… this was actually very much in character for her. I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Lapis has always been cynical, even in her pre mirror days. After she escaped she went from cynical to detached and apathetic. Not an unexpected defense mechanism for someone who was trapped in an inanimate object for 6,000 years. But she has made progress. She trusts Steven and Peridot. Enough not only to express her concerns, but to essentially make a confession.
Life on Earth is really confusing. It took me a long time to get use to it. I’m still getting use to it.
Given everything that’s happened to her on Earth, it’s only natural that she’s having a hard time adjusting. But she’s just confessed her biggest insecurity: she knows she’s having a hard time dealing with what she’s been through, while having to get use to to living a normal life on the planet where her greatest traumas happened. Before the rebellion she would have done her job and left for the next planet, Earth having been a distant memory by this time. But now she can never leave. Earth has to become home.
She wants to move on, but feels guilty about how difficult actually doing that is.
So here comes this I-Insta-Love-All-Things-Earth ruby, who seems freakishly well adjusted from the moment she crashes face first into the planet. Never mind that she was lied to not once, but twice, by the crystal gems. Never mind that she was blasted out into space and abandoned while they stole her ship. All is instantly forgiven and she just wants to be a part of their happy family.
Worse yet? The people Lapis cares most about just buy it. They go right along with it as though Navy’s behavior is perfectly normal. It took time for Lapis to even begin to be okay with the idea of living in Earth and forgiving the crystal gems- she’s still working on it, and it’s painful. She’s worked so hard for every inch of progress she’s made, and here’s someone who’s seemingly able to move on the same day they got to Earth.
I just don’t get it. Why is it so easy for her when it was so hard for me?
So when the perfectly well adjusted Navy turned out to be a gleeful sociopath gleefully hell bent on revenge, everything fell into place.
Navy’s sudden but inevitable betrayal was the best thing to happen for Lapis’ mental health to date.
So what’s the take away from this? 1) People react differently to trauma. 2) Just because someone seems well adjusted doesn’t mean they are. 3) It’s okay to take a long time to heal from your traumas. It’s okay for it to be a constant work in progress. It’s okay not to be okay.
And at the end of the day, that realization can almost feel like happiness.
