Anyone who knows me from @artmemesarchive knows that I love them, so what better way to kick off this blog than with an art challenge! Also, despite this blog’s name, it’s not necessarily about first ones specifically!  Any old oc will do.  The difference can be from months to years, but the longer ago it was created the better the transformation!

For this challenge, paste an old drawing of the character in the box (can be traditional, scanned, photographed, digital, mspaint, whatever!) on the Original half, then fill out the form. Afterwards, update the character! Make them new! Draw a picture with your improved skills! Update their bio and information! Reflect on your improvement and changed tastes.

I hope to see people participate!! If you do it, tag me @myfirstoc or put #myfirstoc in the tags of the post so I can see it and reblog it!

GRAMMAR

因为 A 所以  B  Yīnwèi… Suǒyǐ / Because… So

This structure basically functions as “because of A, B is true” though it feels a bit backwards from an English structure. More often we say the result before the reason, i.e. “I’m tired because I studied for 5 hours” but in Chinese this is a pretty common way to structure a statement:

“because I studied for five hours, (so) I’m tired.”
因为我学习了五个小时, 所以我很累。”
Yīnwèi wǒ xuéxíle wǔ gè xiǎoshí, suǒyǐ wǒ hěn lèi.”

“Because I failed my test, I don’t want to call my mom.”
因为我挂科了考试,所以我不想给我的妈妈打电话。”
Yīnwèi wǒ guà kēle kǎoshì, suǒyǐ wǒ bùxiǎng gěi wǒ de māmā dǎ diànhuà.”

(( A whole day and 100 layers later…..

Okay so! This askblog is a year old since yesterday, the 25th(with almost 4k followers ), and I decided to draw all my favorite variations of Cronus that I’ve drawn previously (whether they’ve showed up on his blog already or not ;0 ). I can safetly say that I never really expected to get this far, and I’m forever grateful with all the followers that have stuck by my side! You rock and keep this blog kicking! ))
