The Duchess of Cambridge accompanied 150 children from her Art Room charity to a performance of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, by C.S. Lewis, at Kenginston Palace Gardens. She chatted with children, who came from the 6 schools where the Art Room operates and the cast. The Duchess once more demonstrated how at ease she is around children, asking them questions such as “Did you see all the animals on stilts and wasn’t Lucy cute? Wasn’t it amazing? I just loved the way it is held in a tent. Really clever. Some of the characters are really quite frightening. I hope you don’t get too scared.” She also joked that, were they to be scared, the lights were bright enough for her to see just who had shouted. And to the cast, Kate said that a lot of children would probably go back into their wardrobes to have a look at what’s going on in there.

It’s proving trickier and trickier to make our selection for Photos of the Week. Thank you to everyone who has shared their snaps with us - we’ve loved seeing them!
