Late night wig/makeup test for Ruby from RWBY!
The wig needs some trimming and some brushing haha but overall pretty happy with the results. I’m in love with my grey contacts; they’re so pretty (dunno if you can see them well haha)
It’s finally cold enough to pull out the Transformers sweatshirt I bought over the summer!!!
Went to SF today looking super hipster and artsy because I went to the art museum and whatnot
I love this sweatshirt~
Project: Rickety is a collaborative effort to build an entire universe from scratch using content sourced from creators online. Create characters, build cities, make up recipes, compose songs for national anthems. Build off of what others have created. Like someone’s character? Ask the creator permission to use their character in a story. Add your own character to someone else’s city. The world is yours for the making.
The idea for Project: Rickety comes from my desire to create a place for anyone interested in narrative storytelling and world-building to create work, regardless of media used or skill level.
Where do I start?
I have created an opening mythos for Project: Rickety. My storyline revolves around the city of Rickety. However, feel free to add your own city to the map and build your own culture. Don’t like the physics of the world Rickety is on? Create your own planet and start from scratch - add aliens, magic, whatever you like. Submit it, and I’ll post it on this blog.
What am I allowed to submit?
Anything within reasonable limit! And by reasonable, I mean content that would be deemed safe for work. Due to the inclusive nature of this project, I will not accept porn, exceedingly graphic violence, and other similar content. Use your best judgement when submitting content.
When it comes to the media used, the sky’s the limit. Design a character, become an architect of a city, write a story. Go off the beaten track and create a recipe for a culture, compose a national anthem, make a video of what you think this world would look like. If you can submit it on tumblr, you can submit it here.
If you’ve ever wanted to build worlds and tell stories and just haven’t gotten around to it or are too shy to share them, this is your chance! Or maybe you’re a seasoned world-builder and would like to collaborate with fresh ideas and new people, give it a go!
Please submit your work! I’d love to see what’s been brewing in your imagination!
