feedback goes here and so do requests! // other writing

A Thursday night seems like a bad night to have a party. But everyone at your school knew the best parties were the ones on a Thursday night. Where you’d have to wake up and get to class, with less than two hours of sleep and the worst hangover of your life.

But you were one of the lucky ones who didn’t have class on Friday. You could sleep in, get plenty of fluids, take a nice, hot bath, whatever you wanted really. And since it was the weekend of Laura’s, your roommate, birthday; tonight seemed like the best time to let loose.

A/N: I’m still working on requests but I needed a break so I cooked this up. I should have HVD Baby up later today. Enjoy xx.

I sat next to my boyfriend on his bed, motionless, taking in his words as they slowly processed in my brain.

“Y/N?” He said shaking me lightly. “Y/N?”

I stared blankly off into the distance and a moment later all his words registered.

“You cheated on me.” I said slowly still staring off. He didn’t move just kept his eyes glued to my face.

“You cheated on me…” I repeated. “With Hayden?” Liam hung his head solemnly.

“I’m sorry.” He murmured. “I don’t know how it happened. First-”

“You don’t know how it happened?” I spat cutting him off. I stood quickly from the bed glaring down at him.

“Y/N?” He begged standing and grabbing my hands in his.

I pulled my hands away rubbing my face in frustration. “I told you it was a bad idea to be lab partners with you’re ex-girlfriend!”

“I didn’t think it-”

“You’re right! You didn’t think.” I snapped cutting him off once again. Liam said nothing so I turned heading for the door, and was on my way out when his hand grabbed my wrist.

“Y/N! Please! I’m sorry!” He pleaded with me. I looked down at his hand that was attached to my wrist then slowly back up to his face, meeting his gaze. His eyes searched my face, begging for forgiveness. I wanted to, so bad, but this was too much. I ripped my arm away from him and looked away.

“I’m sorry too.” I whispered as I disappeared into the hallway. I scrambled down the steps as my face started to sting starting at my cheeks and came to rest at my eyes. I knew tears were coming as I hastened out of his house, but I clenched my jaw tightly warding them off.

I finally found refuge in my car and I sat in his driveway trying to get a grip of myself. I wanted to be anywhere, but by myself right now. I also didn’t want anyone asking my what was wrong. I sat in my car, with my head against the steering wheel thinking. A vibration on my hip caught my attention and reached in my pocket pulling out my phone. A text from a random number was on my lock screen that read:

Party @ 1720 Pitfall Rd.
No fights. No smoking.

It was a number I didn’t have saved in my phone and for a second I wondered who it was. I had heard talk around school that there would be an all schools party, meaning anyone from any school was welcome. Feeling as if this were a sign, I fired up my engine and sped off.

My gps led me to an old back road surrounded by trees, than had me turn down a gravel covered side street. My tires cracked under the new tread. Straight ahead of me I could see a huge abandoned warehouse that from the outside seemed to be just that. Around it, though, were at least a hundred cars. It didn’t seem like there was anyone inside of them as I drove past a few looking for a place to park. I finally found a spot next to an old blue jeep and a kind of beat up dirt bike, and got out of my car. I still saw no life as I headed towards the old building and I was afraid for a second that I may have been tricked.

“Y/N!” A girl’s voice called out to me. I looked over to see two girls standing next to an open trunk. I deterred from my path and redirected myself to them. In the dark it was hard to make them out, but as I got closer I recognised them as two of Liam’s friends. I didn’t know much about the people he hung out with. Other than Mason, most of them were upper classmen.

“Y/N!” The girl said once I was close enough engulfing me in a huge hug. Her name was Kira. She was a very pretty Asian girl with long black hair. I hugged her back, not nearly as hard as she was hugging me, and we both pulled away.

“I haven’t seen you in forever.” She slurred wrapping her arm around my shoulders and hauling me over to the car where her and the other girl, Malia, had been standing. I could smell liquor strong on her breath when she talked and when we were at the car I saw they’d brought their own bottle of alcohol. Malia took a long swig straight from the bottle followed by a scowl. When she saw me she wrinkled up her nose like she’d smelt something fowl.

“Ugh, what’s wrong with you?” She hissed.

The comment threw me, mostly because I wasn’t aware you could tell there was something the matter.

“How do you know any things wrong?” I asked knitting my brows together in confusion.

“I can smell it on you.” She said like I should have know what she was talking about.

“You can smell it on me?” I questioned my expression unchanged.

“What she means is she can almost smell it off you?“ Kira laughed nervously. “Cause you look so uh sad.” Kira shot Malia a look.

I ignored their weird behaviour as I answered. “Oh, Liam just told me…that he…um…well that he um cheated on me…with Hayden.” I could feel a lump forming in my throat and it was uncertain if I’d cry. I wondered if I should have even told them, but figured they’d find out eventually anyways. Malia’s demeanour changed at the news and she walked over handing me the bottle.

“Boys are stupid.” She smiled.

“I’ll drink to that!” Kira said a little too loud. She took the liquor from Malia and than took a drink. She made an ugly face before offering it to me. I took it from her tenderly grabbing it by the neck.

“Boys suck.” I said as I chocked down a few mouthfuls. The two girls giggled as they watched my ugly faces.

“Shall we?” Malia said gesturing to the warehouse and chugging the remainder of the alcohol. I couldn’t see how she did that. It’s like it didn’t even affect her. They looped their arms in mine and together we headed to the large building. As we came closer, you could hear the faint thuds of the base beating with the music and when we opened the large metal door to enter, we were completely swallowed by it. The room was lit only by strobe lights and glow sticks. The air smelled of sweat and beer and the large dance floor was populated with teenagers grinding against each other. I could feel the liquor I’d already had to drink starting to hit me, dulling the pain of my recent heartbreak. Malia and Kira unlooped their arms from mine, and rushed to the dance floor already moving their bodies with the music. I stayed behind not sure if I was ready to dance. I was only a little buzzed and craved for more liquid happiness to change my mood. I scanned the room till I found the table that housed solo cups and kegs, and waltz over to it. The guy pouring the drinks smiled and nodded at me as he filled another cup. He handed it to me, and I swallowed it almost in one gulp. A hiccup passed through my lips and I giggled. I passed the cup to the guy asking him to fill it with a smile. He chuckled and shook his head amused at how fast I’d finished the liquid and he pour more in my glass. I had about three more cups full of beer before I no longer cared to think about Liam or the idiocy of his actions. I had joined the crowed on the dance floor moving to the music, probably off beat. I didn’t care though, I felt so free and weightless. A cold sensation spread across my shoulder sending a shiver down my spine.

“I’m so sorry!” A voiced yelled over the music behind me. I could feel him touching the spot trying to wipe my now wet shoulder off.

“It’s okay.” I said drunkly as I turned to see the person. Our eyes instantly met and it felt like the whole room go in to slow motion. A smile slowly slid across his face, and he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Time sped up as his smile turn to a look of surprise.

“Y/N?” He hummed in to my ear so I could hear him over the music. He pulled away and it was than that I recognised the cute boy. It was yet another one of Liam’s friends, Stiles Bilinski, I think. I smiled as I realized it was him, and pulled him into a hug.

“Hey Stiles!” I cooed in his ear.

“Where’s Liam?” He asked and I pulled away from.

“I don’t care!” I smiled as I began swaying with the music again. He screwed up his face in confusion.

“He cheated on me.” I said simply.

“What?” He spat in disbelief.

“With Hayden.” I added.

He wore a look of astonishment on his face with his eyes narrowed and mouth slightly open. I laughed and grabbed his arms towards me placing them on my waist. He looked down them a little apprehensive.

“I just want to dance, Stiles. So dance.” I laughed again. It took a second but he finally loosened up and did as I asked. As we moved together, I saw a gloss over his eyes and I realized he was just as drunk as I was. Song after song played and our movement turned from awkward and innocent to hot and heavy. Our foreheads were pressed against each other and I could feel his warm breath hitting my face. I turned around grinding my backside against his groin and I could feel his erect length against me. He nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck and my whole body tingled. Suddenly, all the lights turned on in the building and we stopped. We stood in the same position as a voice came on the sound system saying the party was over. Boos and cries fell over the crowd, but people slowly shuffled out of the abandoned place. Stiles intertwined our fingers not wanting to loose me in the sea of people. I clung to his arm and together we pushed towards the exit. Finally outside, we walked hand in hand to our vehicles. At first we were silent, unsure of what was happening between us.

“So, where’s your car?” He murmured.

“Over there next to that dirty blue jeep.” I responded relieved that he was the first one to speak.

“Hey!” He smiled. “Roscoe isn’t dirty, he’s just-. No, you’re right.” He chuckled. I laughed grabbing his arm with my free hand and leaning into him. We arrived at our cars and, to my dismay, he freed my hand from his grip. He walked over to my car and I unlocked the door as he pulled it open for me. I grinned at his chivalry and walked to the open door. Stiles stood on the other side leaning against it and smirking at me.

“Thank you.” I blushed as I too tilted on the door.

“No problem.” He purred drawing closer to my face. His warm breath hit my face for the second time that night. It seemed to intoxicate me even more and I subconsciously neared him until our lips were centimetres away.

“I really want to kiss you right now.” He whispered on to my lips. His words ran through me like a virus eliciting me to close the gap between our lips. I thought about the repercussions this would have, and only for a moment did I considered them. Deciding I didn’t care I pressed my lips firmly against Stiles’s. His hand immediately cupped my cheek pulling my body closer, although the door lay between us. Fireworks shot off in my head as our kiss deepened. I snaked my arm around his neck as I slipped my tongue between his lips moving it over his. His lips were different from Liam’s. Stiles’s were soft and gently, and I could sense myself being swayed by them. I reluctantly pulled away with my eyes still closed and my breathing strained.

“Do you want to um-? Would you like to-?” I opened my eyes at the sound of his voice. His eyes were closed as well but fluttered open as he fumbled with his words.

“Are you inviting me to your house?” I asked cocking an eyebrow at him and grinning. His face turned scarlet and he rubbed the back of his again. I looked into his amber eyes mulling over the question. Again, the consequences of my action ran through my mind. Stiles grabbed my hand from around his neck and laced our fingers together. The amenity of the action won me over and I smiled at him.

“I’d love too.”

Five kisses that should have been, and one that was

Katniss and Peeta keep meeting on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, it’s just never the right time.

New Year’s Eve, 2013

Weaving around the patches of frat brothers and sorority sisters stationed throughout the Phi Kappa Tau house, Katniss clutches her Solo cup to her chest as if it’s some precious thing and not merely the vehicle to get the cheap keg beer into her mouth. It’s empty anyway, the plastic crinkling under the pressure of her fingertips, but still, it’s a comfort to her amid the sea of mostly unknown faces.

It’s a fluke that she’s here–really, it’s a fluke that she knows Finnick Odair, who invited her. They met in their water aerobics class this past semester, Katniss looking to take a fun PE class that kept her active, Finnick needing an easy PE credit so he can graduate in the spring.

She hadn’t liked him at first. He was cocky and brash and a show-off and a perpetual flirt. Still is, actually. But she warmed up to him. For some reason he took an interest in her, even though she’s a mere sophomore, and they eventually became pretty good friends. She’s still convinced he mostly talks to her just to annoy her, though.

So here she is, a fish out of water at the Phi Kappa Tau New Year’s Eve party. Dateless. She’d convinced her friend Madge to come with her, at least, for safety reasons, but Madge is doing her damnedest to find a willing pair of lips to kiss at midnight.

Katniss couldn’t care less. All she wants is a nice buzz to ring in the New Year.

She dodges a couple of laughing drunk guys stumbling out of the kitchen as they pound each other on the back and high five. One looks a little gray in the face, like he might puke. She’s relieved to find the keg free of any line, and she grabs the hose, aiming the nozzle into her cup.

“You might not want to do that.”

She looks up across the kitchen at a guy standing at the counter. Blond, wavy hair, blue eyes, rueful smile. He’s dressed in gray slacks and a black sweater.

She frowns, confused. “Why not?”

He nods his head in the direction she came. “They just did keg stands off it.” The drunk guys she just passed, he means. She blinks, not really understanding his point. She’s not sure if she even knows what a keg stand is. He turns to face her more, hand braced on the counter, his smile widening, carving a dimple in his cheek. “Meaning their mouths were all over that.”

“Oh.” Wrinkling her nose in disgust, she drops the hose, not exactly keen on putting her mouth anywhere near where a couple of frat boys’ mouths have been. “Thanks for the heads up. I guess.” Except now how is she going to get that buzz?

Fancy Feast Masterlist

Here’s the masterpost, I’m including any post mentioning fancy feast, including  the 5 things to summon you asks. I’ll bold those in case you don’t want to deal with them. They’re in chronological order starting with the most recent. (I’m really really bored.) I’ll pass on the sexual favor, but i’m having a really shit day so I wouldn’t complain if you told another story.

Everything Changed... In the Bathroom

For @felicityollies

I’ve always wanted to write the Can’t Hardly Wait bathroom scene as an Olicity fic and this seemed like the perfect opportunity because…well goth!Felicity and pre-island!Oliver stuck in a bathroom together was always going to be a gift lol. I hope you enjoy this little fic and that you have a happy holiday! - Jesse @spaztronautwriter

She didn’t know why they were even here. High school parties weren’t exactly Felicity Smoak’s thing.

“It’s the last one before graduation, babe,” Cooper said, pulling the car to the curb half a block down from the party. Even so, Felicity could hear the thumping music from here. “Our last chance to laugh at these rich assholes.”

“I’m sure we’ll have a whole new group of rich assholes to laugh at in Boston.” Felicity rolled her eyes, but got out of the car to follow the steady stream of people into the house.

“These assholes deserve it, though,” he said, gripping her arm. “And they’ll get what’s coming to them.”

She tilted her head to the side—her long black hair falling over one shoulder—and shot him a questioning look, but he just winked at her.

“Come on. This is gonna be fun.”

She scrunched her brow, totally confused by how ominous Cooper was being, but not that surprised. She should have known Cooper was planning something for tonight. He was always planning something. She’d found it fun and even a little charming at first, but after a year of dating, she just hoped whatever it was wouldn’t get him arrested. On the list of things she wanted be doing tonight, potentially bailing her boyfriend out of jail wasn’t one of them.

The music got even louder as they approached the house, the crowd bottlenecking at the front door. Carter Bowen’s parties were pretty legendary according to people at school. Not a Queen or Merlyn bash, but still pretty good. Felicity wasn’t interested in the drunken shenanigans of her classmates as much as she was interested in free booze until Copper decided he was bored with whatever prank he was playing and wanted to leave. She didn’t think it would take long. She honestly had no idea what he was planning, but this wasn’t his scene any more than it was her’s. He hated Carter and the other rich kids that went to Starling Prep. She figured he’d pull whatever prank he had planned and they’d get out of dodge before anyone was the wiser. Or, she hoped that was the case.

Cooper’s little pranks had been getting more intense lately and, she hated to admit it, but it scared her a little. Cooper was smart and a good hacker with a self-righteous sense of justice. It wouldn’t take much for him to cross that line from innocent fun after school to orange jumpsuit in Iron Heights.

Once they made it inside, Felicity left Cooper to do his thing while she found the keg. If she had to be here she might as well try to enjoy herself, after all. She found it in the living room, a group of howling idiots surrounding it. She didn’t let that stop her from elbowing her way to the keg and grabbing a cup.

“Here, let me,” someone said and a hand reached out, nabbing the red solo cup from her. She raised an unimpressed eyebrow at her knight in shining polo shirt. Tommy Merlyn smirked down at her as he filled her cup, blue eyes sparkling like he’d already had one too many. “What brings the infamous Felicity Smoak to our little old party? I thought you wouldn’t be caught dead at one of these things.”

Felicity rolled her eyes. The guys at school didn’t usually mess with her, not after she’d hacked Max Fuller’s phone sophomore year after he’d been nothing but a dick to her since she first transferred to Starling Prep the beginning of that school year. To be fair though, everyone hated Max Fuller, so she’d gained a certain respect from the incident. And Tommy had always been nice to her, so she allowed him to tease her every now and then. It was his best friend she couldn’t stand.

“My boyfriend thinks watching billionaire spawn get drunk and idiotic is a form of entertainment,” she said over the music, accepting the beer and taking a sip.

Tommy laughed, shaking his head. “If you ever get tired of Seldon, you know where to find me. You know what that goth look does to me.”

He winked and Felicity repressed the laugh that wanted to escape. Tommy really was a good guy, it was too bad he had such rotten taste in friends.

“And what would your heterosexual life mate have to say about that?” she asked, taking a long sip and watching him over the rim.

“Trick o-…Jesus Christ Rae! You look fuckin’ sexy!” Chloe said as her mouth dropped

#4 Supernatural!5SOS: Halloween Night

[Requested: Yes]

“Come with us (Y/N), it’s a Halloween party it will be fun!” Your roommate says. “I can’t guys.” You say and they roll their eyes. “Oh yeah, your boyfriend right? He can come too if he wants.” “Uh, I’m not really sure if he would want to go to a party.” You said feeling unsure, “besides, we kinda planned a date.” You said. “What time is the date?” Your other roommate asks. “At 10 why?” “Wow that’s pretty late.” “He’s more of a night person.” You said smiling slightly. “Well, the party doesn’t start till 8, so you have 3 hours to kill with us. Please go to the party?” They begged. Later that night you all took a took a taxi to the house party. Music was blasting from outside the house and lights flashed to the beat of the music. Parties like this weren’t really your thing, but you did it for your friends. You texted Michael the address of the party before entering the house. It was a bit hazy with the cigarettes people were smoking by the backyard. There were red cups and kegs, and everyone in costumes up against each other dancing. Your friends headed straight into the dance floor and you awkwardly took your seat on one of the couches. After 30 minutes of sitting you decided to give in and have a few drinks. You did dance with your friends to 3 songs you did recognize, then went back to drinking again and snacking. You felt a little buzzed while leaning against the wall watching some guy chug from the keg straight up. “Hey.” You heard a guy call for you, he was dressed up as some typical vampire and looked pretty interested in you. “Hi.” You said being polite. “Come here alone?” “Yeah, but I’m gonna be leaving soon.” “What? Leaving already?” he slurred. “Yeah, my boyfriend is picking me up.” You said. “I don’t see him.” He says looking into the crowd of costumed people. “He’s the vampire.” You sand and the guy looked at you grinning. “Well you know we-” “Is there something going on here?” Michael says interrupting and putting his hand on the guys shoulder. “Let me guess, boyfriend? You don’t look like a vampire.” The guy says glaring. “I don’t look like it, I am one.” Michael says retracting his fangs, “but, forget that and go get drunk.” Michael says and the guy followed his orders forgetting what he just saw. You looked at Michael wide eyed and he smiles at you before taking you by the waist. Once outside, the both of you started to walk into town, “I can’t believe you just did that! What if someone saw!” You said slightly panicked. “Put your fangs away!” You said and Michael chuckles at you, “but this is my costume (Y/N), this is the only day I could be myself and not worry about an angry mob coming after me.” He says reassuringly and kissing your cheek. “So, what are you dressed up as.” “A homicidal maniac, they look just like everyone else.” You said. “Wednesday Addams, cute.” He says pulling you closer to him. “Where are we going?” You asked. “Graveyard.” He says simply. “Really, typical graveyard date?” You questioned and he smiled. Once entering the town cemetery he led you up a hill to sit under a tree. Beside the tree was a basket and picnic basket. You smiled, “this is sweet, just like the movies, I’m glad you were born in the wrong time period.” You said watching him lay out the blanket for you to sit. “And they say romance is dead.” He says pouring wine into two glasses. You sat between his legs, and he held you keeping you warm. “I like this kind of romance you know? Late night dates to someplace quiet, picnics, and star gazing… No one really does this anymore.” You said quietly. “I thought you might like it.” He says resting his chin on your shoulder. You shuddered a bit feeling his breath against you neck again. He pulled away a minute later and you turned around with an apologetic expression. He smiles at you and takes the empty wine glasses, putting them back into the basket. “It’s okay.” He says and you turn to face him. “How is it that you can control yourself around me?” You questioned. “I just keep telling myself that I don’t want to hurt you.” He says stroking your cheek with his finger tips, “damn, the moonlight makes you so beautiful…” He says to himself and you found yourself smiling and feeling flustered. “Michael…” You called out. “I’m serious.” He says leaning against the tree and covering himself with the shadows. You stood up and stepped out of the shadows walking under the moon light. “Want to walk with me in the light?” “I think I’m okay here just watching you.” “Michael, it’s not the sun, walk with me.” You said letting out your hand. He takes it and leaves the shadows. You took a good look at him and your heart was beating faster, “what?” He asked. “Nothing, I just like night time.” You said still speechless. “Me too.” He says giving you a half smile before leaning down and kissing your lips. Spending your Halloween like this was way better than a house party.

Halloween dance at the school was something everyone looked forward too all week. You went to the dance as Little Red Robin Hood and when Calum picked you up, he asked if you were teasing him. Only when you two arrived at the school, you finally realized the reference he was making. “I didn’t think about that, oh the irony.” You said. “Mmhm, sure you did.” Calum say rolling his eyes. “Cal, I mean it.” You said tugging his arm lightly so he would know you were serious. “I’m just kidding (Y/N), you’re very cute. I know you didn’t mean it on purpose.” He says before giving you a reassuring kiss. That kiss was about to turn passionate but you pulled away feeling a bit flustered, “control yourself.” You said. “Sorry, hormones come with the whole werewolf deal.” He says and you lightly hit him, “even without your little supernatural powers you still wouldn’t control yourself.” You said before dragging him inside the dance. Little by little, you were starting to let Calum socialize with his old friends. You watched him sitting with them having a conversation over sports and smiled. “How do you do it?” Your friend asked. “Do what?” “Calum is starting to act like his old self again, he’s starting to be approachable again. How did you do it (Y/N)?” They asked and you looked back at Calum. “He’s just misunderstood…. He just needs an anchor.” You said before looking back at your friends. A slow song came on and Calum stood up to dance with you, “having fun?” You asked. “I guess, I mean it was great catching up with the lads, I really did miss hanging out with them.” Calum says looking down at you and swaying to the music. “I’m really glad we can have at least one night that didn’t involve research and hunting for the wolf pack.” You said resting your head against his chest and continuing to sway. “Me too.” He says quietly and kissing your head, “maybe the pack is gone, we’ve been searching for days, ah well.” He says before pulling away to look at you. Your smile started to waver a bit, you were thinking about what would happen next considering you were running out of options to help Calum and cure him from being a werewolf. “Cal-” You said before he turned his head to the side with a curious look on his face. “Is something wrong?” You said changing your question. “Do you hear that?….” He questions. “No.” You answered. He continued to look at the exit and decided to leave the party to check out what it was he heard. The DJ started another up beat song, and before your friends could drag you to dance with them again, you followed Calum to the front of the school. There you saw him standing in front of a somewhat large diverse group. “Who are they?” You whispered to Calum. “… They’re the pack.” He said as a representative stepped forward. “You must be Calum.” He says, I apologize that you were bitten but-“ the man says before being cut off by Calum who tackled him to the ground. "You bit me! It’s your fault I’m like this!” He yelled trying to swing at him but only to be tossed by another member of the pack. You ran to Calum who was wincing from impact, “you okay?” You asked and he was trying hard not to get bad. His eyes glowed bright yellow and his claws started to retract. You held his hand and he started to calm a bit. “You’re a little short tempered, aren’t you?” The man says before standing up and dusting himself off, “listen kid, I didn’t bite you, and I’m not the alpha. We were ordered to find you though.” “What for?” Calum said bitterly. “We’re here to help you, train you to control your powers.” “I don’t want to control it, I want to be cured!” “There is no cure kid!” he says, “the bite is a gift, even if we all wish we could go back to our normal lives, we can’t, you can’t….” He says. “I’m not going with you.” Calum says standing up. “You don’t have a choice kid… We will get you during your winter break, prepare to disappear for a while.” “If I don’t?” Calum questions. “Then we will make you, these are our alphas orders, not ours….. If you don’t come quietly, you better keep a close eye on your girlfriend here.” He says looking at you. Calum held your hand and made you stand behind him. “Remember kid, winter break.” He says before him and the pack left. You looked at Calum who was obviously upset, “there is no cure….” He repeated. “We don’t know that, they don’t know that… We can keep trying.” You said, “please don’t go with them.” You begged. “I’m not going anywhere (Y/N)….” You said before he kissed you and held you tight, “and I’m not letting them get a hold of you either.”

“(Y/N), let’s go on a date.” Ashton says as you wake up from your nap. “A date? Where? The living room?” You said chuckling, “Ashton, have you forgotten? You can’t leave the house.” “I can on Halloween.” He says and you sit up. “What? How?” You asked. “It’s a supernatural thing, ghost are allowed to walk for one night….” He says smiling and you smile back. “I really wanna go on a date.” You said feeling the excitement already. “To make it a proper date, I’m gonna ask your dad for permission.” He says. “If he says no?” “Then we’re sneaking out.” He says giving you a cheeky grin. “I have my therapy session, I’ll see you in an hour.” He says before kissing your lips for a brief moment and leaving your room…. You decided to listen into Ashton’s therapy session, it wasn’t like the things he was talking about weren’t anything new. You always wondered what he talked about with your dad and most of it was about grieving for his family. He would ask your dad things like, “was I wrong to push my brother away?” or, “I couldn’t protect them.” He would say. “Ashton, you did what you thought was best and you shouldn’t doubt your decisions…. You wanted to protect your brother, and if that was the only way how then you did the right thing. Your family was able to move on…. If they make you happy then that is all that matters… Now, tell me about the present, anything make you happy lately?” Your father questions and Ashton was hesitant. You grinned and pressed your ear against the door to listen in, “there is this girl…. She’s very special to me and I was planning to take her out on a date tomorrow night.” He says and you heard your dad shift and put his clipboard down on the table beside him. “It’s (Y/N) right?” He questions. “Ashton, don’t take offense, but I really don’t know how to feel about you and my daughter… She’s my precious little girl and…. Are you…” “Are you saying that because I need therapy, means that I’m no good for her?” He questions and your dad hesitates to answer. “Sir, no offense…. I know your daughter more than you would ever know…” He says and the conversation went silent. “I think this session is over… I’ll see you again next week Monday Ashton.” He says dismissing him… Later during dinner it was silent, you picked at your food and kept glancing at your dad, “What’s wrong with Ashton…?” You questioned. “I’m just a little worried for you sweetheart.” He says. “Dad, that isn’t really a reason, you are always gonna worry… I… I like Ashton.” You said, “literally he is the only friend I’ve made since we’ve moved here….” You said looking at him. “No (Y/N), and that is final.” He says and you immediately excused yourself from the table. You entered your room to find Ashton leisurely laying on your bed causing you to laugh slightly. He sits up, “I heard the conversation.” He says with his smile fading slightly. You close the door to your room and went into his arms, “so, what’s the escape plan?” You asked. He chuckles and buries his face into your stomach and you hug his head, “Mmn, I was just thinking we would leave, I have no plan, just go when they are out of the house for a while.” He says giving you a sheepish grin. “Knowing them, they probably wouldn’t even notice.” You said and Ashton looks at you with a sad expression. He reached up kissing you on the lips reassuring you…. The next day your mom left for her night shift, and your dad left to go to the city to meet his other clients. Ashton was out of the house all day, and when the time came he picked you up from the house. You opened the door and grinned at him as he brought you flowers and Starbucks, “m'lady.” He says handing it to you. “I’m surprised you even knew where to get Starbucks.” “(Y/N), I still went out during Halloween even before you moved in…. I got to see this small town change little by little.” He says before letting out his arm for you to hold. The two of you spent together in town, it felt great to be an average couple for once. To your surprise, a lot of people were able to see Ashton, you wanted to question, but you just understood that it was a supernatural thing that didn’t really have an answer. When night fell the two of you went to the beach. Ashton started a small little fire and the two of you cuddled beside it. “I’ve been thinking…” He started before giving you a small kiss and speaking again, “and I discovered you make me really happy…."He says and you smile back at him. "You make me happy too Ashton…” You said before kissing him back. The rest of the night the two of you exchanged kisses. You felt your phone go off and you answered with Ashton continuing to kiss your cheek and nuzzle against you. “(Y/N)!? Sweetie, I’m glad you’re okay. The door was open and-” “I’m sorry mom, I thought I locked it…” “Where are you?” “I’m… Out… I’m at the Halloween party at school.” You lied. “Mmhm, sure, the party ended at 11…. Are you with Ashton?” She questions and you hesitate to answer. “Well… Just get home before 12, that’s when your father get’s back…” She says before saying goodbye and hanging up. “Are we off the hook?” Ashton questioned looking a bit nervous. “Yeah.” You said smiling and kissing him back.

“Trick or treat!” The kids say at the door. You compliment them on their costumes and placed the candy in their bag. When you closed it you heard an un-amused Luke groan of boredom. “You know, when you said you wanted to come over during Halloween, this isn’t what I had in mind.” He says looking at you then letting out another whine. Your parents were going to be out for a party between church members, they were worried about you staying home alone so you lied saying you were going to a friend’s house. It wasn’t a complete lie, Luke is your friend, he was your boyfriend. Your plan was to be friendly to people in Luke’s apartment complex, you wanted them to think of Luke as really nice and try to get rid of these false assumptions about him. You set the bowl of candy on the small table and sat next to a pouty Luke, “hey, aren’t you proud that I lied to get myself here?” He rolls his eyes, “ooh yeah, you are such a rebel (Y/N).” He says sarcastically and still upset. “You can’t be mad at me Luke.” You said kissing his cheek. He looks at you and kisses your cheek back and making his way down until the door rang again and he let out another groan, “I swear to god (Y/N) if you open that door.” “I’m gonna open the door.” “Nooo,” He whines, “just stay here and let me kiss you.” He says holding you by the waist. “Luke, think about the children.” “Screw the children, I was never a child, I’m a ranked demon, I can light stuff on fire.” He says. “You’re acting like a child right now.” You said chuckling. You opened the door to see a little girl holding out her bag. “Trick or treat.” She says. You looked at her costume, it wasn’t much except she was wearing all red, “so sweetie, what are you supposed to be?” You asked. “A demon.” She says with a smile. Your eyes widened as she blinked to show that her eyes were all back.  You backed up a bit and Luke came between you two. “What are you doing here?” He asked. “I wanted to check on you is all, there was a rumor about you and…. A mortal…. Is this her?” She says and her darkened eyes observed you. “Why should I matter, I’m ‘banished’ remember?” “You may be temporarily banished Hemmings, but you still belong to us… She better behave, if she does something we don’t like…. She might make a perfect meat suit for me to wear out… Maybe only then will you be able to kiss her lips.” She says before turning back to the door. She takes another look back and smiles, her eyes back to normal and her typical child act back in play, thank you for the candy miss.“ She says before leaving and the door automatically closing. You backed a bit to the wall and slid down to the floor, your heart was racing and your hands were shaking. "Why did they visit? Why are they so worried about me?” You asked feeling a bit scared. “Relationships are forbidden, even with Angels it’s forbidden….. No one should care though because we all do quickies here and there…” He says sitting down in front of you and rubbing your cheek with his thumb. “Is she going to hurt me? Are any of them going to hurt me?” You said slightly panicked. “Not if I’m here…” He says. You lean against his hand and his his palm before reaching for a hug. His arms wrap around you and he helps you to your feet, “I really don’t feel like letting you go tonight… Not after that visit.” He says in a hushed voice, “stay the night? Just this night.” He says with a worried expression. You nodded and hid your face into his chest. He shut the lights to make sure no more trick or treaters would stop by. He guided you to his room and made you a cup of tea to calm your nerves. He laid beside you and hugged you close. “I promise I won’t let anything happen.” He says kissing your forehead reassuringly. You heart started to slow down, and your eyes grew heavy. Tonight wasn’t ideal, but as long as you were with Luke, you felt safe.

Women’s Studies

Summary:  He was a frat boy.  She was a sassy Goth.  At a frat party, Oliver and Felicity meet.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Arrow.  No copyright infringement intended.
Author’s Note: This is for callistawolf, who wanted frat!boy!Oliver and sassy!Goth!Felicity, and also requested dirty talk.  I had a lot of fun with this one.  :-)  Thanks to mersayseh and youguysimserious for the cheerleading.

This party blew.

But that’s what you got when you went to frat parties, Felicity told herself.  Frat parties were the lowest form of social gatherings, the refuge of the desperate and/or depressed.  But for a girl who was barely eighteen and had done two years’ worth of college courses in one, there weren’t many options when you really, really, really needed a drink.

So that was why she was clutching a red Solo cup of crappy beer and standing in the corner, watching her fellow students blow off steam, drink themselves silly, and hook up with strangers.

Swishing her dark hair over her shoulders, Felicity took a long swallow of her beer, draining the last of it.  Okay, so it sucked that she was here by herself, since all her studying hadn’t given her a lot of time to make friends.  But she had two weeks off until summer session started, two whole glorious weeks to marathon the TV shows she had missed, read the books she had to put off, stay up all night and sleep during the day.

It was a nerd’s dream and she was going to enjoy it fully.

And if maybe, as a break, she explored a few websites that she didn’t have permission to visit, like the Paramount Pictures servers in order to find cut footage from Iron Man … well, what was the harm in just looking around?

None.  No harm at all.  Nope.  So she was going to drink some more beer, maybe dance a little if they played some good music, and then go home to get started on her TV marathon.

With an empty cup, Felicity ambled over to one of the kegs.  She had just finished filling her cup when someone knocked into her, hard.  She fell forward and ended up bent over the keg, her cup flipping up and splashing beer all over her.

“Oh, damn, sorry.  Whoa, your ass.”

A couple facts about myself that I’m embarrassed to say at age 21.

I don’t like clubs.

I don’t like clubs or bars with music so loud you have to scream into someone’s ear to socialize.

I don’t like how socializing now becomes taking snapchats of the music and getting fucked up.

I don’t like how I wind up in clubs and bars anyway because that’s the standard of my day and age.

I want to enjoy my drink, not devour it for the sake of increased blood alcohol level.

I don’t like that entering an altered state of mind and taking photos and videos of drinking from the cup or keg that imposed that state of mind is the cool thing to do.

I don’t like to get fucked up or act fucked up.

I really just want to live in the 30’s and 40’s (minus the blatant racism and social/equality issues). Drink a classy cocktail instead of shots. Enjoy the said cocktail. Sit down at a table and laugh and talk with friends. And then when the alcohol level in my blood permits, get up and drive to some beautiful place and surf, snowboard, camp, hike, lounge in the sun, or just relax outside.

I feel like I wasn’t meant to live in this day and age.

“Damn (Y/N) looking hot.” Sammy hollers from the opposite end of the pool. I drop my towel on the lounger and wink back at him.

“Thanks Samuel. You aren’t too bad yourself.” Skipping onto the first step, I ease myself into the pool before I feel a pair of hands from underneath the water grab my feet. Pulling me under, I squeal and come back up pushing my hair out of my face. Looking at Sammy he sits happily with a smug look on his face. “Not funny!” I poke his shoulder and he smirks at me wrapping an arm around my shoulder as we sit on the steps. “Where’s the rest of the guys?” I ask while playing with his fingers subconsciously. Sammy points to the windows of the house and I see the silhouettes of a few people gathered around the counter tops. Just as I squint to see who’s inside, the glass door slides open to reveal a shirtless Nate. The light hits him perfectly from where he’s standing; his tattoos clouding his skin and his hair pushed back with his shades covering his eyes. His fingers grip a red solo cup before he brings it up to his lips. He strides out of the doorway and onto the concrete steps. Lowering the cup away from his lips he crunches the plastic between his fingers and throws it in the trash behind him. He pulls the sunglasses from his face and places them on the railing. His is emerald eyes glare at Sammy and I. Realizing what he’s looking at, I shrug my shoulders to untangle myself from Sam. Both Jacks emerge from behind him and waste no time to cannonball into the pool. Nate still stands on the stairs, eyes glancing anywhere but at me. Finally, our eyes meet and my cheeks flush. A hand tugs Nate’s arm and he turns and I see Emily, her lips curled into a smile and Nate mirrors it. A pang of jealously hits me…Why didn’t they tell me she was coming? Gilinsky swims his way over to my spot on the stairs, his pearly whites smiling up at me. "How’s it going?

I groan kicking up my feet in the water, "shitty.” He raises an eyebrow and I continue. “I didn’t realize Emily was coming here, you didn’t bring Madison–I thought it was going to be like old times. Just the five of us.” I look down and Jack settles down next to me. He places a compassionate hand on my shoulder and sighs, “look (Y/N), I know this isn’t just about Emily. You like him, hell maybe you even love him–not just in a friendly way. I can tell,” I look at him and he rubs my back with his hand. “I’ve known you my entire life, I can read you like a book. Just like I can read him.” He tilts his head towards Nate and Emily sitting on the stairs. They seem to be happy together, sitting on the steps laughing drunkly, drinks in their hands. After a few seconds of silence I finally ask, “What are you talking about?”

“Exactly what you think I’m talking about.” He smirks and squats back down into the water. ’Exactly what you think…what am I thinking? Standing up from the stairs, I walk towards Nate and Emily and do my best to look happy. “(Y/N)!” Emily cheers and jumps up to hug me. I hug her back half-heartedly before she pulls away and begins to ramble about some Hawaii adventure while my mind races to try to figure out what Jack meant. A large hand touches the small of my back and I flinch turning to Nate. “You could at least act like you care,” He whispers. I shoot him a glare, looking up though my lashes, “it’s hard to care when you couldn’t give a shit…c'mon you of all people should know that.” I spit and turn back to Emily, who didn’t even notice our side conversation. She finishes and starts to laugh signaling we should too. The three of us laugh; two of us falsely before I excuse myself to go inside. Leaning over the granite counter top, I grab a red solo cup and fill it with ice. Walking over to the keg, I fill my cup half way with beer and take a sip. A rough voice behind me breaks the silence inside the house, “what was that about?” Nate. I shrug my shoulders, leaning my back on the counter and swirl the ice around in my cup. “(Y/N), answer me.” Looking up at him through my eyelashes, he smiles slightly as our eyes meet.

“What? I didn’t want to hear about her stupid Hawaii trip.” I groan taking a sip of my drink. He shakes his head whilst closing his eyes.

“You’re jealous of her aren’t you?” He asks and I wrinkle my eyebrows together trying to act confused. “Y’know I’m not gonna buy that fake confusion.” He points at my face and grabs a cup from behind me. My heart can’t help but flutter as his body presses against mine for a few seconds. “What’s really happening here?” Nate asks as his face disappears behind the open fridge. I sigh taking a sip of my beer and press my lips together. “Really not gonna answer me, babe?” He mutters after taking out a Miller Lite, and he pours the beer into the cup with ice. My stomach does flips at him calling me babe, I let out a heavy sigh and finally answer.

“Well-You promise you won’t laugh or make things awkward.” I spit out before I think about what I’m saying. Nate nods, his mouth covered by his beer. “I like you a lot okay? Not just in a friendly way— Like a love way.” I mutter the last words but I know Nate heard what I said, because he pulls his drink away from his mouth and a smile tugs at his lips.

“Seriously?” Nate chuckles placing his cup on the counter. His hands travel up to his head and he starches the nape of this neck. “I-I like you too.”

“Wait are you serious?” I gulp away my nerves as he stutters. “Yeah I like you, but seeing you with Sam today just got me annoyed considering he knows,” he trails off taking a step closer to me. Putting my cup on the counter, I look back up at him.

“He knows what?”

“How much I’m in love with you-nearly obsessed. I sound crazy I know, but seeing you with him, shit.“ He curses raking his fingers through his hair. "I wanted to shove him aside and kiss you right then and there.” He says, stepping closer.

“Why didn’t you?“ I tease and he smirks slightly.

“Because I didn’t want to ruin this.” He gestures between us before continuing, “I’m so in love with you its terrifying-I wanna kiss you but I don’t know….” I shrug and step closer to him, our bodies now inches apart.

“You know what I say?” I provoke him. He mouths a ’what?’ before I wrap my arms around his shoulders, finding myself a lot more confident now. “Fuck it,” I mumble. Leaning forward our bodies touch and I bring his lips down to mine. Heat rushes to both of our cheeks and Nate’s hands snake around my waist. His tongue brushes against my bottom lip, and his teeth pull gently. My hands trace circles at the bottom of his neck and my one hand pulls at his hair.

“Damn one of us should have done that along time ago,” Nate says breathlessly, as he leans in to peck my cheek.

“Hell yeah, we should have.”
