Excite!! The 4th issue of HAUNT-MAG is out just in time for London Fashion week, with issue 4’s theme being ‘Let Me Be Your Fantasy’
Again, I was thrilled to contribute some custom head pieces and hair clips to the Haunt Team’s wonderfully cosmic Sailor Moon shoot above, styled and shot by Haunt Editors Emily Beard and Rebecca Hawkes.
For another season, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working for Fred Butler on her SS/13 collection for London Fashion Week. This season debuted an explosion of beautiful gold embroidered urban shaped accessories and latex bikinis. The presentation literally buzzed with excitement as her golden bumble bees walked into the Portico Room in Somerset House all set to the beats of a specially mixed track on which Fred personally collaborated with music producer Two Inch Punch.
To accompany the collection, there is also a super cool video, dripping with honey and fun! Check it out by clicking on the photo below!
Here are a few beautiful shots from a series of pictures by photographer Nadine Ijewere & stylist Marina de Magalhaes. Titled ‘Oriental Ambiance,’ the shoot features my Blue Live Edge Headband & Mint Shard Turban. Check out Nadine or Marina’s websites below for the full shoot.
Here’s Curvature Linear, my new collection for SS14.
I explored an organic, fresh aesthetic this time around, looking to make a distinctive design statement that combines the elegance of softer shapes with the strong lines of sculpture and architectural structures.
Check out Roses Gabor performing at Annie Mac’s Christmas bash at Koko last weekend. Styled by Kim Howells, here she is on stage wearing one of my rapper caps from my new ready-to-wear collection Bolted!
If you don’t know Roses, you’ll certainly recognise her voice. She sang on SBTRK’s brilliant Pharaohs - one of my favourites from last year - and has worked with a ton of UK producers. She’s now stepping out on her own and you can hear her new single Stars below.
As you have probably seen from my posts of late; I love a video to accompany to post! Like a lesson at school when you find out you will be watching a video – it’s great to just sit back and just watch!
For some reason I have only just come across this incredible spectrum of colour created by artist and architect Tomas Saraceno, however felt compelled to share its wonderful vastness and beauty.
Tilted A Poetic Cosmos of the Breath, this magical dome was launched back in 2007. Set up at the break of dawn at the Gunpowder Park in Essex; the piece was commissioned by The Arts Catalyst and is an experimental structure which uses natural energies such as sunlight and air to create natural form.
Truly breathtaking, I would have loved to have witnessed it live.
