keds style

Well, I FINALLY decided to start using my Tumblr as a blog! Up until now, I’ve just been using it simply to share my Instagram posts, but I’ve decided to go ahead and dive into the “fashion blogging” world head first! After looking into several blogging platforms, I decided that Tumblr was the best option for me. Not only is it easy to use and free - but (thanks to my internship at Keds) I already know how to use it! I start graduate school full-time for Speech-Pathology in the fall and I need something quick and easy to keep up with. So without further ado - my first post!

This summer I have been ALL about easy dresses that I can throw on for those days when I’m just too lazy to match two pieces together (which is most days). But I’ve had such a hard time finding cute, casual dresses that don’t break the bank. This weekend I went shopping with a mission and finally found my perfect “throw on and go” dress. Maude is a local boutique that has adorable pieces to fit any price range. I pulled this dress off their sale rack for $10. YES, you read that correctly, $10! They were practically giving it away, am I right!? To complete my casual look, I paired it with my favorite pair of Keds and added a few pops of red - because word on the street is that this lipstick is Taylor Swift’s favorite, so I obviously I needed it.

Thanks so much for reading! Follow me on Instagram (@musingsofglitter) to find out when the next post will be up! Happy shopping friends!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that Boston holds a special place in my heart. I got to work for one of my fave companies, @keds, and fell in love with the city. I’m on the blog tonight talking about my summer spent in Boston! Thanks to @outlinethesky for this awesome Boston Skyline sweatshirt - such a fun keepsake! 💕 {and use code EMILYB20 for 20% off at to get swag from your fave city!}
