reasons i would like rey to be a solo

  • the amount of parallels between her and han ie
  • grew up an orphan, had to scavenge for everything she got, toughened up to the world
  • literal outfit parallels
  • mechanic, flies the falcon, actually inherits it + chewie
  • that whole scene where she’s looking for the right tool and finn hands her the wrong one is literally the scene in esb w/han and chewie
  • +a shitton more
  • parallels between her and anakin (tho this is just arguing for her being of the skywalker lineage in general so)
  • mother’s embrace
  • parallels to the eu w/the solo kids though that’s been cut but still it’s neat how many there are like. personalities, backstory, ect.
  • the same impulsivness as leia
  • determination and aggressiveness with what she believes is right like leia
  • good with a blaster like both of them
  • biologically speakin she looks like a good mix between the two of them but since daisy isn’t literally their kid it’s just a Neat one
  • just please imagine han trying to do her hair okay just. please. just imagine this. and also imagine her and young ben playing pretend. and her parading after her mom trying to be regal. it’s all Good.
  • it would be cool ! just like any other parentage theory but i just personally like this one for the dymanics and so do a lot of other people
  • a lot more but those are covered in deep meta posts i don’t have the time for

reasons ppl seem to think i want her to be a solo

  • i don’t know how to watch a movie
  • i don’t want luke to be straight
  • i think han and leia are bad parents (??)
Double Agent Vader fic: Trickster Steals the Moon

I’ve been wanting to write something like this for a while, and finally did it: a fic that’s half Ekkreth trickster-tale, and half Anakin’s history as a double agent, where the stories interconnect and Anakin’s actions exist within the sacred tradition of storytelling.

For this one, we’re going back in time a bit. This is set almost immediately after Optimal Functioning, and just before ANH.

The myth in this is the origin story for the holy week of Marokkepu, of which Maru is the central hero. Her name means “water,” and she’s considered one of the great prophets.

I’m blaming this one on @nimblermortal, who may or may not know why.

Trickster Steals the Moon

There are as many Ekkreth stories as there are slaves on Tatooine, which is to say, there are stories without number, and more every day.

This is one of them.
