The record shop scene in A Clockwork Orange features several members of the Kubrick’s family and clan. From top to bottom: Katharina Kubrick, the director’s daughter, is the girl in the beige suit on the right; Jan Harlan, Kubrick’s brother-in-law and executive producer, is behind her, and briefly appears on the far right while the camera moves; Andros Epaminondas, Kubrick’s personal assistant is the man in the brown leather jacket with bushy hair and a beard, often mistaken for Kubrick himself. At the end of the scene, all three can be seen passing behind Malcolm McDowell and the two girls, Katharina from left to right, Andros and Jan together from right to left.

Famously, a record of the soundtrack of 2001: a Space Odyssey is at the center of the composition in the last picture.

Stanley Kubrick’s audio cameo in 2001: a Space Odyssey. Kubrick provided the breathing sound for this scene.

Source: Katharina Kubrick on alt.movies.kubrick, 02.01.2001: “I only found out who was ‘breathing’ myself last night. Mum and I were talking about the screening [of the restored version at the BFI] at dinner. I said that I thought Keir
Dullea’s appropriately paced breathing was very effective. She then told me it was Daddy. Gulp!”
