did u see abt willam being nasty abt bio queens? :( any thoughts?

I didn’t watch any recent videos, but I’ve heard her talk about it before, yeah. Thoughts? I disagree with her. Female queens are valid, and incredibly empowering artists to watch.

BTW, two of my favorite female queens: Creme Fatale and Kat Sass (who I can tell you, first-hand, is one of the best live drag performers you’ll see in Chicago). Check them out!

I’m interested in hearing female queens talk about female queens, as with any issue regarding women. Like, I’d rather listen to Peppermint’s or Gia’s (or Creme and Kat, ofc) opinions about it. A woman’s relationship with her own femininity and what she’s expressing with her drag (if the drag she does is femme-presenting, I mean, since a lot of people seem to exclude drag kings from the conversation?) are the more important factors here, to me.

HOWEVER, one (male) queen who’s always got (female) queen positivity to dispense is Miss Trixie Mattel. This was delightful, and it’s not the first time I’ve heard her express this :)

My mom: oh my daughter just loves to read, she’s read more books than anyone I know

Me internally: all I read is gay fanfiction

Me out loud: oh yeah I love reading

I think my favorite part about The Bold Type, besides Kat and Adena, is that neither Jacqueline or Lauren (the bosses) are portrayed as psycho uber bitches. They can be tough, yes, but are never overly snarky to the point of mean-spirited. And they are so so so supportive of their young proteges. That’s super refreshing.

That’s him, that’s the Doctor.

One of the many reasons why I love the Wynonna Earp cast so much….

I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car.  I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boats, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much, that it makes me sick and even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you’re always right, I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you not around and the fact that you didn’t call… But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

I’ve grown up a little bit and have become more secure with who I was as a person. Then suddenly, I was able to look back and go “wait a minute, I wasn’t myself for the last couple years, but now being on the other side of it.” It’s all about making decisions. You choose to do things that are good, positive, happy, and beneficial, and if you choose to have a good day, choose to have these things, then you can. It’s possible.
