Innsbruck - Austria

Located halfway between Munich in Germany and Verona in Italy, Innsbruck is Austria’s premier winter sports city. The city has hosted two winter Olympic games (1964, 1976) and 2 Winter Paralympic Games (1984, 1988).

While the Karwendel Alps that surround the city are the major attraction for visitors, Innsbruck’s altstadt is just as intriguing. The city has many palaces, cathedrals and museums, as well as impressive gardens.
