Hatshepsut was the daughter of Thutmose I and Ahmose.  She was the wife of Pharaoh Thutmose II, the mother of Princess Neferure and the step-mother of Pharaoh Thutmose III.  After the quick reign of her husband Thutmose II, Hatshepsut became Co-Regent with her step-son and eventually Pharaoh in her own right.

While Hatshepsut’s reign was long and prosperous through her successful trade expedition to Punt.  Her building program included a Mortuary Temple Dier el-Bahri in Western Thebes, as well as expansions to the Karnak and Luxor Temple Complex’s.
