I felt like my ship doesn’t fit into the quadrants properly so I invented a new one. It’s mostly red but also a little black. The background is grey. and of course it’s a boonbuck symbol because of many obvious reasons, like how much she likes money, it is obviously inspired by the claw of a crab thing and a forky thing like meenah’s trident thing.
Just look at this beauty it is perfect for my ship.
Since I’ve started shipping Meerkat and DirkJane, I’ve noticed a lot of changes with how people treat me shipping-wise.
I used to always ship the popular ships (Arasol, Karezi, etc.) but when I started branching off and finding peace in ships that aren’t as popular, I feel like I’ve gotten less respect.
That’s kind of dumb to me. I mean, sure, like the popular ships all you want, I still like them just don’t dedicate to them. It’s your opinion, but why do I have to be treated differently as a member of the fandom just because I like a couple less-likely-to-be-canon-ships?
Yeah, yeah, I get it, DirkJane will never be canon. I still love it! Yeah- Meerkat probably won't develop into more than a close-friendship (yet Meenah’s canon crush on Karkat tells me otherwise), I don’t care! I still love it!
Shipping shouldn’t be something that changes your perspective on someone as a person.
