karma books

As the day inflates like lungs. What goes around, will come around.
—  Karma // @abillionlittlethoughts
It all matters. That someone turns out the lamp, picks up the windblown wrapper, says hello to the invalid, pays at the unattended lot, listens to the repeated tale, folds the abandoned laundry, plays the game fairly, tells the story honestly, acknowledges help, gives credit, says good night, resists temptation, wipes the counter, waits at the yellow, makes the bed, tips the maid, remembers the illness, congratulates the victor, accepts the consequences, takes a stand, steps up, offers a hand, goes first, goes last, chooses the small portion, teaches the child, tends to the dying, comforts the grieving, removes the splinter, wipes the tear, directs the lost, touches the lonely, is the whole thing. What is most beautiful is least acknowledged. What is worth dying for is barely noticed.

Let it go for another, the universe will return it at a higher level.
—  Be selfless. The universe works for you. // @abillionlittlethoughts

“So be kind when the day is with you. And be patient when the day is against you.” Because karma never forgets her turn…What goes around, always comes around!

When you seek justice against someone who seems to have destiny at their back,

The lamp of karma burns low and long.

But worry not, because destiny is a cruel mistress, and she changes sides at any time.

Karma is a woman
With a blackened heart
And revenge dripping from her
red lips.

Spell to mend a broken heart

Perform this spell on a Friday or Saturday.

you will need:

  • rosemary oil or incense
  • black candle
  • white candle
  • black pen
  • parchment paper
  • cauldron
  1. Cast the circle and call the quarters.
  2. Invite a healing deity to join you, for a broken heart ask for a love goddess such as Isis and say “great Goddess Isis please join me as i purge my heart of pain. please release me from this hurt so that i can build a stronger relationship in the future.”
  3. Light the black candle and focus on your pain and as the feelings consume you write it all out on the parchment paper. Light the parchment from the candle and drop it into the cauldron while saying “as this parchment burns, so burn my pain and sorrow. I release them to the universe and free myself from the suffering.”
  4. Light the white candle, feel white light descend from the heavens or the moon and fill you with love and peace, say “Lady, i am healed. The pain is gone. the suffering is no more. I am ready to go forth into the world with peace and love.”
  5. Release the goddess by saying “Great Goddess Isis, thank you for joining me and bringing me renewal. My heart is at peace. Farewell and blessed be.”
  6. Release the quarters and open the circle. Let both candles burn all the way down.
