Yakiniku is Japanese grilled meat. It’s a very popular restaurant for dates and casual get togethers with friends.
Since I am trying to watch what I eat, we tried to stay away from the really fatty meats and got some of the leaner cuts with lots of veggies!
In the first picture are some Japanese mushrooms and gyutan (cow’s tongue). Gyutan is my favourite!
In the second picture is karibi (cow’s rib meat), onions, kabocha (Japanese pumpkin), and cabbage. It was delicious!
