Kafka’s home, illustrated by Robert Crumb in Kafka.
Kafka spend virtually his entire life living with his parents (and sisters, occasionally). His sensitivity to noise made quiet writing time extremely difficult to find, a fact which tormented him to no end.
I have to read a fictional book for an important project soon, do you have any recommendations? Possibly something along the lines of existentialism, philosophies, horror, anything really. This would be super helpful. Thank you!
the stranger by Albert Camus, The Trial by Frank Kafka, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, books by Chuck Palahniuk are so good !!! Try Sylvia Plath ?? There’s so many to name but I’m so stressed today I wish I could think of more. Try looking around these titles and see if there’s something that catches your eye and interests ❤️
