I’m positive this shit has been done already since I’m like seventy episodes behind everyone else, BUT WHATEVER I’M DOING IT TOO

So first what we heard, followed by the audio reversed. Which, for those who can’t or don’t want to hear it, is “Hey, guys, what are you doing on the beach?”

So it seems like Amethyst isn’t just suffering from physical affects of her gem fracturing, but memory loss too.

THAT’S FINE I’M SURE THIS WILL BE COMPLETELY OKAY

I thought about this and I think it wasn't really the songs that got your blog nuked. It was probably the Audioextravaganza (is that how it's spelled?) posts since they contained audio from the show and considering that Toei seems to take down any video or audio of the show for 'copyright' sake...

We can’t know for sure of course (UNLESS TUMBLR WOULD LIKE TO SHARE), but I’m inclined to disagree. This was, more likely than not, the work of bots, mining sites for specific keywords and types of posts and analysing content based on pre-established parameters. The songs were direct rips from CDs and uploaded in full with the album name, track name and number, and performer, with times that would’ve corresponded to whatever database of information the bot was working on.

The Audiostravaganza posts are random lengths of about five to ten seconds each, marked by no more than the episode number. That’s not something a bot is going to be able to pick up, which would mean it was a person hands-on digging through my blog specifically to find those posts.

Possible! But I don’t think very likely, not when there’s something else much more prevalent and easy to automatically determine in line with other blogs that have been targeted.

All this said, I’ve not yet decided what the fate will be of the Audiostravaganza line of posts. I love them, but I’m not sure I love them enough to risk ANY audio posts. I may make a separate blog entirely for them (completely separate, not a subblog) and reblog them here, or host those posts off-Tumblr, or drop them altogether. Haven’t decided yet!

Rei wants Ami to hurry up and get into her costume. This is the second time Rei has said exactly this. The first time was pretty normal.

THIS SECOND TIME IS ANYTHING BUT NORMAL

To be fair, it’s difficult to pin down exactly which part is Rei and which part is Ami, because Ami suddenly breaks down all reason and just shakes her head and says “No no no no no!” like a toddler and it’s kind of the best thing, join me next post for a gif of that one.

So Rei and Ami’s voices overlap and I’m not sure where one ends and one begins.

But

BUT

It sounds like Rei starts to ALSO become a toddler, with the most delightful stutter on the last syllable, like she’s stomping her foot and demanding “Ami-chan, come o-ohn-ohn-ohn-ohn-nnn!”

REI HINO DID THIS

IN THIS MANNER

EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART AND IT IS GLORIOUS

Minako has just told the others that they should take advantage of their youth to study as much as possible. This is the aftermath.

I couldn’t isolate the specific detail, but go listen to the clip and come back. I’ll wait.

Done?

Okay so, THE TABLE. As soon as Minako says that they should devote all their time to studying, someone was so shocked, all the strength went out of their arms and they crashed to the table.  From the positions in the reaction shot, I’d guess either Rei or Usagi. Or both. Both is good.

The only thing missing is a spilled drink that fell out of someone’s hands. Still, I love that tiny little background sound effect detail. LOSS OF LIMB CONTROL, THAT IS THE LEVEL OF SHOCK WE ARE DEALING WITH
