juste debut

Day of disbandment.

Thank you IOI for giving us such memorable stages. IOI is the only girl group i stan wholeheartedly, apart from red velvet. It seems like it was just yesterday when IOI debuted. I love IOI. It’s the only group where all the company trainees come together as one. As much as i want IOI to stay together, i wish for the best for all the members. “Goodbyes are the hardest to say”

I guess this is goodbye. Goodbye, IOI.

All About Johnny

I don’t know if it’s going to be possible, but let’s try and compile what every member says about Johnny by reblogging and adding. As for example, you watched a show today where they said Johnny likes snow. We will reblog and add it to the post.
I wanna do this for other members, too! But let’s start with the boy who just debuted!
We can add anything, also what other members have to tell about him, or what he says in fansigns.

Let’s make this a successful thread! If any of you want to start a thread like this for other members, feel free to. If you want to, tag us so that we can check it out~

  • Johnny is honest and straightforward.
  • He wakes up an hour early (2 AM KST) on the days they have broadcast and wakes other members.
  • Johnny reads well and now the novel he’s been carrying around in his backpack is ‘A Man called Ove’ by  Fredrik Backman.
  • Johnny was a part of his high school choir.

I think people’s expectations for Blackpink are unfairly high. “They don’t have the stage presence and talent 2NE1 have!” They just debuted? I don’t think making a comparison is fair yet. “They’re flopping.” They’re actually seen as one of the successful newer girl groups with Twice. “___ is ugly” or “___ had plastic surgery.” Can we just agree to not trash someone’s face? Also, the general consensus amongst netizens is that Blackpink is a visual group lol.

minghaon  asked:

What do you love the most about Minghao?

thiS IS DIFFICULT OMG I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM but…if i just had to pick one…i would say his personality :’) You know how he always observes his members and help them feel better when he notices they’re stressed? I love that. Also, he teases Mingyu a lot and they have that bickering bestfriend-ship going on, but he knows when to stop and comfort his giant pup. Also, he respects the older members so much. I feel like he must be closest to Soonyoung among the leaders since well Soonyoung is the leader of the performance team. Soonyoung always took care of Minghao when they just debuted. He would bring up Minghao’s name every time so Minghao could talk. I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP SOBS. And I know all of Seventeen are respectful but damn when Minghao bows to his seniors, colleagues, etc., he just goes beyond respect. I thought every time, his head would hit the floor…and we all know how much his Korean has improved. He’s kind, observant, empathetic, respectful, ambitious. He’s great in general ♡

Liked gaming since kindergarten
The vigorous boyhood

1~2 years after being born in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, I moved to the neighboring Gwacheon City. My memories started from Gwacheon. I was awkward about taking photos until just before debuting, so I hardly have any childhood photo. It’s hard to find photos from back then. When you take photos, you have to stand still. I hated hearing “Wait, let’s take just one photo!” and having to stand still.

My favorite thing in kindergarten days was the popular dinosaur character game back then. We only had one game but my hyung hogged it all, so I really wanted to play it at that time. I don’t know if it’s the reason why I like games now too.

I was a vigorous child in elementary school. After school, I would go play with my friends and come back at dinner time, then do my homework and sleep. It was my routine. I had a lot of friends too. We would only play every day and not study at all (laughs). My favorite subject was Physical Education. It’s the exact opposite to now (laughs). I liked running, swimming, tennis and also golfing that my father taught me how to play. He likes snowboarding and skiing so he often takes me to the ski resort, and I started from that. Although my father frequently went on business trips, when he came home, he would play his favorite sports with me. He often took me abroad too. Japan, Europe, Australia,.. But I’m not very into travelling so it felt like I was half-forced (laughs).

I talk with my 2-year-older hyung every day. We play games together and talk about this and that, it seems like our relationship got even better than before.

Grew up to be a hesitant guy in front of the opposite sex due to going to all-boy middle & high school!?

I was too into gaming since 1st year of middle school so I didn’t go out to play (laughs). Me and my friends kept staying in the PC room to play games in summer break.

My best friends are friends from middle school. The relationship between us four people is quite good, even after we went to study higher, we would go to the valley and play together in summer break and go snowboarding in winter break. Even now we still contact each other every day and contend for each other’s old men’s jokes (laughs)

In terms of music, I liked Lee Seunggi sunbaenim’s ‘Delete’, KCM sunbaenim’s ‘Black & White Photos’ and Turtles sunbaenim’s ‘Airplane’. I also listen to Buzz sunbaenim’s music often so I like rock ballad even until now.

Since I went to all-boy school for both middle and high school, I had absolutely no contact with girls for 6 years. Even after going to university, I still couldn’t look into girls’ eyes. I would drop my eyes low and “Hey, how’s it going?” (laughs). I met an easy-going friend in university so he mended that manner too. He hit me and said “I told you to look in the eyes and talk!”… But still, I fit in better with guys (laughs).

The path to become a singer through scouting
Currently taking music composing with seriousness!

In 1st year of high school, my dream was to become a newspapers reporter to stand by the second-class citizens’ side. I used to read newspapers articles every day. The dream of becoming an actor was born in my 2nd year, after watching Kim Namgil-ssi in the drama ‘Queen Seondeok’. I was touched and thought that, I wanted to make people cry with my acting too. So I entered the Film Major in university .

3 months after entering, I was scouted and became a trainee. The rapper line was in the company already, and Jungkook joined 2 days after me. I came into the practice room and saw a kid with eyes like Bambi standing, I asked ‘…Who is this?’ and he stood up and said ‘Oh! My name is Jeon Jungkook!’. Even when I told him ‘Sit down,’ he said ‘Oh no! I’m okay!’ (laughs). The one with deepest first impression would be Namjoon who was practicing dancing. It was my first time seeing someone practicing dancing since I was born, so I thought ‘Wow, he’s a trainee. Cool.’

As I trained, I went to eat with other trainees as well and enjoyed my trainee life. I liked dancing back then. But after debuting, I heard people saying ‘He can’t dance’ so I lost my confidence… Despite that, thanks to ARMYs who always tell me ‘It’s cute’, ‘You did a great job’, I regained my confidence and now, it seems like I can dance.

My life right now is great, and I’m satisfied with being in BTS. My interest in music started after I met the members. Back in debut days, I couldn’t even think I can write songs. Thanks to the influence from our members, I’m now continuing to write songs. Even though they aren’t at the level of being put into albums yet, I got good responses and am working hard right now.

If someday the chance comes, I want to try acting. V is doing that now so I’m happy with it. Compared to acting,  I want to improve my skills in singing and performing more. It’s physically draining but I feel the joy in it.

imagine what it must feel like to be so far away from your goal, just debuting, trying to find who you are while trying to show yourself to the world, trying to get the tiniest bit of recognition within the industry, finally getting a small fanbase just big enough to be invited to awards, lucky enough to be nominated, even if you know you won’t win, just being surrounded by all the people you look up to, people who inspired you to pursue a career in this industry. but now, you’re part of the idols people look up to and were inspired by, you’re now the ones winning the biggest awards, breaking the biggest records, and being recognized as one of the biggest names in the industry

congratulations bangtan for winning album of the year!! we are all so proud!!!!

[161112] 3RD MUSTER #6; Jungkook's MENT

“When the MUSTER first started I didn’t feel much emotions but when we sang 2! 3!, J suddenly realised that the stage has really become a lot bigger. It made me think of when we just debut-ed and also how we came so far and how we could stand on such a big performing stage. I’m really thankful to all ARMYs and hopefully in the future, the days will be filled with happy events. We’re really thankful to be able to sing at such a big venue after promotions. Thank you”

and then he started crying :(

Niall Horan discusses flying to London to support Louis Tomlinson

On Saturday night, all of our hearts melted when it was confirmed that Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan had dropped everything so that they could be at Wembley Arena to support their One Direction bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, as he made his solo debut just three days after his mother tragically passed away.

The three men were keen to keep out of the spotlight as they remained backstage for the duration of the show, supporting Louis privately in a bid to not detract attention from his new solo single, ‘Just Hold On’.

Now Niall has opened up about his decision to fly from New York to London in order to be there for his pal ahead of his appearance at last night’s iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in Washington D.C.

On the red carpet, a confused reporter asked Niall: “Weren’t you in the UK like an hour ago?”

To which the Irish star replied: “Yeah, I flew home for… I was in the UK for twenty hours.

"For a very good reason.”

Niall didn’t divulge any further information, but, to be honest, that was all that he needed to say.

Niall’s comments come after UnrealityTV reported that the singer has no choice but to miss Johannah Deakin’s funeral due to work commitments in America, however, he still took the time to celebrate Johannah’s life after The X Factor on Saturday night, with he and Liam joining Louis and his younger sister Lottie at a London nightclub to toast the mother-of-seven.

A source said at the time: “Harry, Niall and Liam all came down to X Factor to support Louis. They all were backstage with him supporting him. It was a lovely moment - and shows the unity of 1D. First time all back together in a year.

"It was a lovely touching moment backstage and they all came to support Louis during a horrible time.

”[Afterwards] it was family and friends drinks in Cirque, all paid for by Johannah’s husband Dan. It was a celebration of her life and his X Factor performance. It was a very emotional night.“

Johannah passed away last Wednesday [7th December] following a short and secret battle with leukaemia, as well as Louis and 18-year-old Lottie, Johannah was mum to 16-year-old Felicite, 12-year-old twins Daisy and Phoebe and two-year-old twins Doris and Ernest.

For some context...

There are 40 songs that have charted in the UK for One Direction. Only 7 have made it to #1 or #2.

What Makes You Beautiful (#1), Little Things (#1), One Way or Another (#1), Best Song Ever (#2), Story of My Life (#2), Drag Me Down (#1), Perfect (#2)

This means that Louis’ debut solo single - Just Hold On (#2 debut) - has done better than these 1D songs:

Gotta Be You (3), One Thing (9), Live While We’re Young (3), Kiss You (9), Steal My Girl (3), Night Changes (7), and History (6), which all peaked in of the top 10 spots. This Town peaked at 9. Steve has never been in the UK top 10.
