Title: In The Early Hours
Pairing: Bodhi Rook x Reader
Genre: Comfort/Fluff
Warnings: Feels sad man, language
A/N: Thank you so much to my child @bodhi-imperial for the ideas/inspiration, ur a precious peach and I lov u. This one isn’t in first person but could easily be a sequel to Between the Sheets. I wrote both as stand-alones, but either way! It’s open to interpretation. I’m also putting all of my fics below the “read more” from now on, since it can be frustrating on the dash. :-)

“Last time, you told me that it would never happen again. And yet here we are, you disappointing me and me having to clear up your mess.” Sebastian’s eyes were narrowed, leering over the smaller person, intimidation obvious. He moved quickly, hand wrapping around the other’s neck almost delicately but with the warning of his power behind it. “I don’t like having to clear up your messes. I hate it. It’s inconvenient and you should know how to deal with these things yourself by now. So I need compensating.” He used the grip on their neck to push them backwards onto a sofa, his free hand sliding up their leg. “And you’re only really good for one thing.”

Tord: Here’s the room number I was given, let’s see if it was correct…

Tord: It’s a kid?!

You know what we need? We need that Buffy the Vampire Slayer quote- "You’re really campaigning for asshole of the year aren’t you?" "As defending champion, are you nervous?" -pasted on screenshots of Graves and Newt during the interrogation scene.

but maybe tho please instead imagine this being one of the mutual bitching sessions held regularly between captive!graves and grindlestank

I dont know if youve covered this yet but im thinking one of the main reasons isshin sent ryuko to school for all her life was because he mightve feared an eminent attack from ragyo/being found out by her? And to protect ryuko he has to keep her as far away from him and his lab as possible and we see that in nuis attack as she was able to survive was because she wasnt there and even then she almost couldve been found by nui if isshin hadnt attacked her eye

I don’t think I’ve explicitly ever covered it, but I do think the idea of Isshin wanting to separate himself from Ryuko to protect her from Ragyo is a plausible part of his reasoning to get Ryuko away from him.

But as I went over a bit here, I think it’s less about Isshin being concerned for Ryuko’s survival and more about Isshin being concerned for Ryuko’s usefulness as a tool.

Even if Ryuko fought Nui and lost after her father’s demise, the Life Fibers in her body would likely prevent death—and Nui is honestly a pretty lonely character herself. I severely doubt Nui would have any interest in killing someone “just like her”; she’d probably find the Life Fibers in Ryuko’s body “cute” and “interesting” and take Ryuko to Ragyo… and I think episodes 20 - 21 depict in horrible clarity what would happen from there.

So, following this line of thinking, Isshin’s fears about Ragyo getting to Ryuko are certainly not unfounded. Ragyo takes Ryuko, and Isshin loses his “ultimate weapon” to the enemy. Ryuko would be screwed over, but—and probably more importantly to Isshin—so would the world. He’d lose everything he’d fought for.

I’ve made a couple of posts on it, but my main line of thinking for the reason Isshin sends Ryuko away is that he puts the world and the “greater good” before her. No loving father could ever justify treating his daughter the way he does, but Isshin knows that if he doesn’t use Ryuko as a weapon, Ragyo would win. He separates himself from his daughter to prevent himself from getting too close and having second thoughts.

drj2008 recently opened me up to another facet of Isshin and Ryuko’s situation, offering that perhaps Isshin deliberately creates and utilizes Ryuko’s loneliness to make his plan even more successful. By sending Ryuko away and pushing her out of his life, he sentences her to a rough, troubled childhood—and “I want to know,” his character song, seems perfectly aware of this fact. Not only is “I want to know” a remorseful tune about “How long [Ryuko] had to wait for [Isshin]”; there’s also a line about giving Ryuko “A way that [she] can find what [she] seek[s].”

And I think there’s a very valid argument that Isshin knew full well that all Ryuko ever wanted was love. Without having her father’s caring support for the majority of her life, Ryuko’s desperate for it—perhaps made even worse when you look at their past and how he did seem, at first, to be a loving, kind, and dedicated dad.

Isshin gave Ryuko all this affection and then took it away. Ryuko’s left feeling like something’s wrong with her, that she’s no good, that she’s better off alone… and this is a huge part of her character.

So what does Isshin do? He makes his daughter the most faithful, loyal, devoted partner she could ever ask for. Not only that, he makes his daughter a partner just like her: a mixture of human and Life Fiber who could understand her practically better than anyone else in the whole world. He makes her the “perfect” soulmate, someone to always be by her side.

And Ryuko’s so desperate for love that she takes it. She hears her dad made this strange uniform and she accepts it without hesitation, naming Senketsu immediately and jumping to get to know him (even if she’s not especially consciously aware of this). It doesn’t matter that Senketsu is talking clothes and she should really be asking a lot more questions about his presence—all that matters is that there’s someone who can help her get what she wants. She doesn’t have to do this alone anymore. She has a friend.

Really, would Isshin’s plan for Ryuko and Senketsu to bond and save the world worked nearly as well, if they both weren’t among each other’s very first friends? Heck, you could even take it further: maybe Senketsu’s memory loss isn’t plot convenience as much as it’s an orchestrated ploy by Isshin to ensure that Ryuko and Senketsu are both confused and have the same level of understanding on their situation, inspiring them to work together.

In my eyes, Isshin didn’t just want to keep his precious “tools” away from his enemies—he also wanted them to be the very best they could. So, he optimized his results. He manipulated Ryuko and Senketsu to make it so they’d bond effectively. He left Ryuko alone and made her desperate for a friend. He (maybe) erased Senketsu’s memory so Senketsu wouldn’t “know too much” and could stay on the same level as Ryuko. He teased Ryuko with the love she wanted, giving her the passion to fight—and, perhaps, even the passion to die fighting, as I would assume that Isshin expected both Ryuko and Senketsu to perish in the final battle.

Of course, Isshin clearly doesn’t feel good about what he did to Ryuko (or to Satsuki, for that matter). I think he regrets his actions to massive extents—otherwise, a song like “I want to know” wouldn’t exist. But he’s still much like the Dumbledore of Kill la Kill, manipulating others to do his bidding and never having the strength to be honest along the way.

Isshin’s complicated, and deeply human.

Zack Merrick #11

Zack was coming back from tour. You’d think I’d be narrating in all caps lock, but at this point I was just so ready, that I couldn’t care less about some stupid capitalization. Zack had been on tour for the past few months or so, and I decided to stay at home and get dressed to welcome him back, if you know what I mean.

Once I cleaned up the place a bit, I looked at the clock. Zack shouldn’t be home for another hour, so if I had my shower now; I could get dressed in time for him to come home.

I stripped myself of my clothes, wrapped myself in a towel and put them in the laundry. I let the towel hang on the rack and turned on the shower head, letting the warm water glide across my skin. Moaning at the relaxing feeling, I squirted some liquid soap, and rubbed into my skin, letting the past few days’ impurities wash away and down the drain.

My voice rang out as I sang ‘Still Into You’ by Paramore. As I got to the chorus, the door opened and the shower curtain drew back; revealing my very handsome boyfriend smirking at me. Naked, might I add. He stepped into the shower with me, his rough hands immediately finding their way around my waist. “Well hello there, gorgeous.” He smiled before his lips met mine.

My fingertips danced on his biceps, and travelled further to his abs, as he bit on my bottom lip, begging for access. His hands travelled lower, gripping my ass and making me gasp into the kiss. Whether or not, he was going to find a way in. He kissed down my jawline and left hickeys on my neck, “Babe, your singing sounds so beautiful. But you know what’s better?” He paused. “Hearing you scream my name.” He huskily whispers, tracing my pussy and then abruptly inserting his fingers. “God, you’re so wet and tight, babe.” He groans. “Well, we are in the shower Zacky.” I say with a giggle, which quickly transitions to a moan, as his fingers curl. As his fingers slide in and out, my moans gradually rise to signify my nearby climax.

Just as I was going to come, Zack retracted his fingers. I whimper at the sudden absence. “Not yet.” He smirked, licking my juices off of his finger. Our lips collided again, I probably shouldn’t enjoy the taste of myself so much, but knowing that Zack thrived off of it distracted me, as I tasted the bitter yet slight sweetness on his tongue. I wrapped one leg around him, he quickly caught my idea, grabbed my bottom, and pinned me against the wall. It was my turn to leave a few marks of my own, my mouth doing everything it could to mark Zack. “Fuck, I missed this so much.” I gave out throatily. After leaving my fair share of hickeys, I pulled away, and kissed him roughly.

He readied himself at my entrance, before then thrusting in. “Holy shit, babe you’re so tight around me.” He groans. Thrust after thrust increased in speed and force, until he was practically pounding into me. Each time our hips met, a groan or name was called. Our voices overshadowed the sound of the shower running, it had only been the two of us in that moment, and nothing could come between us. I gasped as he had angled himself perfectly to hit my spot. He grinned mischieviously, mercilessly assaulting it. His cock had throbbed within me, and as I had reached my climax and constricted around him, he melded his lips to mine, coming inside. After thrusting a few more times to ride out his high, he pulled out leaned against the shower wall, panting.

“God I’ve missed you, and not just talking about your body babe.” He says, and I wrap my arms around his torso, hugging him. He grabs the shampoo, and squirts it into his hand. Then runs it through my hair, and massages my scalp. I just let him do so, and once he’s done, I do the same for him. We look at each other, pupils dilated. Hugging him once more, I said against his chest, “I’m so happy to have you back, I love you Zack.” He wrapped his arms around my waist, and looked down at me. “I love you too babygirl.” Before crooking his neck to kiss me.

Exactly one year ago today I discovered Ptx :')

“sorry i’m thinking about cats again”

(based on something that happened between a friend and myself, except that i was watching dog videos)

(also im sry i changed my url haha sweats)

Someone probably beat me to the punch and made a post like this already, but honestly, I just had talk about this scene.

I’m sure all of you remember the infamous bathroom scene. This new flashback from episode 12 puts things into a different perspective.

Here Yuri is, watching Yuuri’s past GPF performance. He’s trying his best to look disinterested yet you can tell he’s clearly interested. He even goes as far to admit that Yuuri’s step sequence grabbed his attention. And when he mentions the failed jumps he sounds almost…disappointed.

He isn’t making fun of him for messing up his jumps. He wants to see Yuuri be able to succeed and successfully complete a program.
