  • ‘i don’t know… i was scared.’
  • ‘my parents are gonna murder me!’
  • ‘this is not an okay time for you to shut down.’
  • ‘maybe he’s haunting us.’

  • ‘you look pretty good.’
  • ‘we just talked.’
  • ‘the troopers are on duty and you should be safe because we think this is just an isolated incident.’

  • ‘thanks for ruining the game, dick.’
  • ‘you’re gonna get us both killed!’
  • ‘she’ll find him.’
  • ‘i need you to find him.’
  • ‘hurt him?’
  • ‘i i guess i’d rather observe people than, you know…’
  • ‘jesus, the hell happened?’

i'm seeing jensen hate going around as usual and it's making me oh so sad :((( jensen is so beautiful inside and out, do you mind talking about the perfectness that is jensen ackles pls?

oh gosh, I can talk about the perfectness that is Jensen Ackles forever and ever and ever and ever ❤

Jensen Ackles is amazing. I mean, he’s so incredibly amazing.

He’s been the most beautiful person since the moment he was born, so heartachingly beautiful

and he’s grown up to be even more beautiful than anyone could have ever dreamed

and even when he should have been going through the incredibly awkward moments of adolescence that all of us normal humans went through, he was still perfectly beautiful

but not only is he beautiful, he’s so freaking talented

he’s a magnificent actor

and director

he’s so so so so good, and he deserves so much recognition for how good he is

he’s not only beautiful and talented though, he’s athletic and strong

and he’s kind

and so very soft

and he’s an amazing friend

and he’s so supportive

and even though he’s shy and reserved, a lot more than a lot of the people he is around every day, he still goes out of his way to make fans smile

and oh his smile

and he loves coffee (trust me, that’s a sign of a good person)

and he simply loveslovesloves

he’s overcome stage fright right in front of us

and sings for us, sings so incredibly

and plays guitar

and he’s just…..he’s perfect

and he doesn’t think he is because he’s too humble to think so

Jensen Ackles is so wonderful, so so so so so wonderful

and we are so lucky and undeserving of him

but he’s still here, for us and for Sam and Dean and for Jared

and I’m so grateful and in awe that a person as amazing as him exists

ALRIGHT Y’ALL BUCKLE UP BECAUSE, THANKS TO THIS POST ABOUT LANCE, I JUST FOUND THE GREATEST PARALLEL OF ALL TIME

hey, hun!💛 Sorry this is so late, but I hope you like this!

it’s a really cute request ^^ It’s my pleasure to do it and I’m glad you like the others too!~

[ side note: zen’s got lowkey angsty whoops ]

zen

  • his gang members hate that he always actually goes back to the school
  • but he can’t help himself - there was still someone there that he needed to see
  • it was his best friend, mc. whom he had been friends with since middle school
  • and he was actually pretty surprised they still wanted to see him
  • they were finishing their second year of high school, like he would be if he stayed
  • he knew it was dangerous…going back. but he couldn’t help himself
  • hyun had a huge crush on mc. and he was going to tell them. at the very least so he wouldn’t regret not telling them
  • so he texted them to meet him outside after class
  • he was waiting in their usual meetup spot, which was by a tree near the school
  • but this time, it was for a goodbye.
  • “Hyun!” mc’s voice made him look over and smile at them
  • “Hey babe. How was school?” “Boring without you, you know that”
  • he laughed, which was his first laugh in a while
  • it was so easy to laugh with mc…he might not get this chance ever again
  • “But anyways, what’s up? I haven’t seen you around lately.”
  • “Yeah, sorry about that…but I just needed to tell you something.”
  • “Are you going somewhere?” “Kind of?” “…What is it, Hyun?”
  • He sighed and took their hand and kissed it gently
  • “I needed to tell you that I really like you before I left.”
  • “what?- hyun-” they called, but he walked off

yoosung

  • yoosung wasn’t supposed to fall for mc
  • he was their tutor for crying out loud
  • but…they were so cute….
  • a lil backstory: they met at a volunteer event the school ran
  • they were partnered up for a help desk, getting people where they need to go and giving out extra supplies
  • and they’d talk when they got a break
  • listen, he had no intention to actually fall for mc
  • what happened, however, was he fell for their dedication to getting through this
  • they tried to learn the subject and made efforts to just talk to him besides school work
  • the two of them shared interests, possible plans for the future - along with their insecurities of the future
  • and a friend of his told him to just ask them out
  • …what did he have to lose?
  • it was their last study session together - in the library
  • 30 minutes in and he still couldn’t gather up the courage
  • yoosung, you literally have 2 minutes left, just ASK
  • what ended up happening was he asked while they were both packing up
  • mc was grabbing their things, but took a second to look up and smile at yoosung
  • “thank you for everything, yoosung. I promise I’ll make it up to you somehow!”
  • it literally slipped out - yoosung didn’t even think about it
  • “how about a date?” yoosung’s mind: whatdidijustdoijustdidthatohmygod
  • mc paused for a second before packing up again
  • yoosung felt embarrassed, just going to quickly pack his things
  • but he saw mc move a hand to his bag, putting a piece of paper on the very top
  • “saturday. 8?” and then they walked off
  • it was their address. and he turned red for a second

jaehee

  • oh there was no way jaehee could do this
  • there’s no way mc would like her
  • they barely even hung out!
  • sure, they would text each other every now and then. they’d talk in the hallways and eat lunch
  • but…they weren’t really friends
  • yet jaehee somehow managed to get a crush on mc. great.
  • she was sure mc saw her as everyone else did - quite robotic. not any fun at all
  • and..she had to admit, she was sometimes
  • so how was jaehee going to do this again?
  • ah yes, slip a note in their locker
  • she was just gonna pass by and slip it in
  • if it went wrong, mc could just text her a no. she could live with that
  • if it didn’t then…great!
  • that’s what she told herself as she slid the note in
  • now to wait
  • it honestly was on her mind all day and she could barely focus on school work
  • and apparently her being nervous made her more robotic because everyone around her asked her about it
  • but who cares? she was only waiting on a response from mc
  • she’ll probably get it when she gets home
  • “jaehee!” mc called, making her turn around
  • oh no no nono  they’re going to reject me right here right now, i was specifically trying to avoid this
  • “oh, hello mc. do you need help with anything?”
  • “yeah, actually. what time should we go? and should I meet you somewhere or at your place?”
  • “….i’m sorry?”
  • “our date, silly”

jumin

  • usually, jumin han was a confident teenager, but now…well..
  • im cr ying i just remembered i said jumin’s emo phase was in high school rip
  • so imagine a small, emo-phase jumin han trying to ask out his crush
  • you think it would be kind of weird, especially considering his outlook on life right now
  • but it was actually pretty simple
  • I mean, of course, besides the fact that he was still surprised he had a crush on someone
  • V had to literally tell him, “it’s because you have a crush on them, jumin. that’s why you keep thinking about them”
  • please spare this child
  • he invited them over after school one day to help them with their math homework
  • and, trust me, everything was Prepared
  • so as you can imagine, it was going very well
  • they were getting their homework done, there were snacks, and mc honestly seemed to be having a good time
  • so…he just kind of went for it
  • “mc, may I ask you something?”
  • of course his manners are still top of the notch, even through his emo phase
  • “sure, jumin. what do you need?”
  • “would you like to get dinner sometime? we could do tonight if you’d like, and I could have anything you’d like prepared. but don’t feel pressured, of course”
  • he’s rambling, how cute
  • mc laughed a little before putting a hand on his shoulder to get him to stop
  • “are you asking me on a date? or to just stay for dinner?”
  • jumin blinked, “A date.”
  • “then yes.”

707 / luciel / saeyoung

  • one of his friends wouldn’t shut up about it
  • “the great luciel has a crusssshhhh” [ he still goes by luciel and hides his Angst, but he’s not a hacker ok ]
  • “no I don’t.”
  • he’s not allowed to have crushes, he has too much on his plate to worry about already
  • having a crush would only hinder him
  • but….mc was really fun to be around
  • and they cared about him
  • maybe they would…be able to see through his mask
  • but they wouldn’t like saeyoung. saeyoung was too weak and sad
  • no, he shouldn’t waste his time thinking about this, he had work to do
  • …….15 minutes later……..
  • wait, he built a little butterfly robot
  • and now he was seriously considering writing a letter
  • maybe he will
  • he just won’t sign it so they’ll have to guess who it was from
  • you think the butterfly robot would give it away, but honestly?
  • it still could be anyone, they shared the same classes and they were all full of people who could do that
  • so he wrote the letter and sent it off the next day
  • it reached mc just before their first class together
  • they walked in holding the butterfly
  • saeyoung did a really good job, playing around and pretending he had no idea about it
  • however, right before class was over, there was a note on his desk
  • but..he was the last one there?
  • he opened it to find it saying, ‘did you forget I know your handwriting? also, I like you too - mc’

v / jihyun

  • you think jihyun would be rather shy about it
  • however, he was so smooth
  • the whole thing was really casual
  • they were paired together for an art project and started working at mc’s house
  • and they kind of got side tracked from the project to just talking
  • honestly, they were talking for far longer than they meant to
  • the project was forgotten
  • “oh! it’s getting late and I never realized…I should get going..” V said, looking at the time
  • mc looked at the time as well and gasped, “Oh!  and we barely finished the project”
  • V just stood up and smiled, shaking his head. “It’s alright, there’s tomorrow. We can focus on that tomorrow”
  • mc nodded in agreement, standing up as well. “Sounds good. And hopefully we’ll get the chance to finish that conversation”
  • v started making his way to the door, mc following him
  • “that sounds great, but I have a better idea.”
  • “oh do you? what is your idea, then?”
  • v turned around to face them, smiling lightly.
  • “we focus on the project tomorrow and finish it. Then we can finish that conversation another time. Over dinner maybe? We could start a new one too”
  • honestly, it was pretty direct and mc was caught off guard for a second
  • but they laughed once and nodded, “that sounds great, jihyun.”
  • V smiled wider. “great. I’ll see you tomorrow, mc”

saeran

  • no no no no absolutely not
  • there was no way saeran had a crush on someone
  • absolutely not
  • he refused it
  • but then he saw mc again the next day
  • damnit
  • well…maybe it’ll go away if he doesn’t tell them
  • so that’s the plan
  • until saeyoung stares him down
  • and he knows he’s in trouble because saeyoung knows him too well
  • so they had a conversation at home about it
  • “why do you think it isn’t good to have a crush on someone?” saeyoung asked
  • “because there’s no way they’ll like me back? especially mc.”
  • and this pretty much continued all night because saeyoung wouldn’t let it go
  • but they eventually reached a compromise
  • saeyoung would pretend to be saeran and ask for him
  • horrible idea, i know
  • so….let’s go!
  • “hey, mc. may I ask you something?” saeyoung asked, trying his best to act like saeran
  • “sure, saeran, what is it?” “would you…like to go out sometime? we could…check out that new place that opened up and get some ice cream after?”
  • saeyoung could literally feel saeran’s death glare from nearby
  • mc just laughed and nodded. “that sounds great. tell saeran I’ll meet him there at around 1, okay saeyoung?”
  • “sure thing, mc!” saeyoung said, “wait.”
  • now saeran was really glaring at him
  • but mc just walked away smiling
  • …at least it worked

vanderwood

  • i feel like it was easy for vanderwood
  • the only problem was that they were friends and he didn’t want to make it weird
  • but honestly? they were planning to ask each other at the same time
  • so yeah, it was actually kind of awkward
  • and neither one of them really thought it through, it literally just showed up in a normal conversation
  • the two of them even asked at the same time
  • spare these awkward children
  • like, okay…listen..
  • their current conversation had nothing to do with it, either
  • “hey, vandy. do you want to go out for lunch or cook something?”
  • “how about we get something delivered? I don’t feel like doing much of anything, really.”
  • “alright, i’ll order something in a second.”
  • “by the way, mc?”
  • “yeah? i need to ask you something too.”
  • and…you know? they actually spoke at the same time
  • “for dinner, you wanna go on a date?”
  • they both just..decided to Go For It, huh?
  • the two of them stopped everything they were doing and looked at each other for a second
  • and then they just laughed with each other
  • “I guess we know each other’s answers then.” Vanderwood said
  • mc nodded with a smile
  • “still, lunch first.”

But what about those times when you’ve been studying for a while (be it days or weeks) and you’re feeling overwhelmed / tired / can’t wait to just turn in that essay or pass that exam? Thought I’d share a few tips with you in case you were lacking motivation to keep up with the (amazing) work you’re doing :)

1. Break that chapter into smaller chunks. Instead of pulling a three, four-hour study session, try studying from 30 minutes to one hour, and repeat this throughout the day. This way, you will be able to still be productive while fitting other tasks or things you enjoy doing in-between study sessions.

2. Change your “study location”. This actually helps me sooooo much. Be it moving to the kitchen, to the library or to a friend’s house (provided you will both be studying) can honestly improve your productivity, like, a lot. Our brains need to contextualize when learning something new - so if you’re studying in a different place, it is highly likely you will remember that better. Also, that’s the perfect excuse to hang out with your friend afterwards. Earned it.

3. You don’t have to actually sit, pen in your hand, to call it “studying”. Try different study methods: convert your textbook to mp3 and listen to it while heading to the gym; carry your flashcards with you and glance at them on the bus; look up a TedTalk or listen to that podcast you’ve been trying to watch for ages. You can fit studying almost anytime during the day, be it only 10 minutes - it doesn’t have to include textbooks and pens. And it’s still way better than doing nothing at all.

4. Talk to someone going through the same things as you. This way you will be able to support and motivate each other, exchange tips, maybe notes, etc.

5. It’s okay to have lazy days. This is very important! Sometimes you just need time to fuel up again. Trust me, a lazy or cheat day isn’t a wasted day - provided it doesn’t become a habit. Take care of yourself. You’ll see the benefits of it in the long run.

Hope these were useful! Feel free to add any more tips you might have. Keep up with the good work!

Do you have any non-shippy fic recommendations?

Oooo, that’s a hard one cause like… I read a lot of shippy stuff. I’m a humungous sucker for romance, especially the unrequited variety. You have made me realise that I haven’t kept a very comprehensive list of what I’ve read either… Anyway, here are some that I’m enjoying/have enjoyed! If any of my followers have other suggestions could you add them as well? I would be super interested in seeing them too~

A Breach of Trust, one of the most well known, for very good reasons.

Tomorrow isn’t always another day, I laughed a lot in this one, the tone is much more light hearted. This one makes me want to draw Reigen hahaha

And There Were Daffodils in Her Eyes, more angst, I’m finding this one interesting to read and I like Minori.

Temporary Accommodations, I only just started ready this one but so far I am enjoying it, I like the way they write Reigen

Tangled Roots, I actually read this while I was sick… the descriptions are very accurate lol

Hmmm, I really wish I had more to share, I need to diversify my reading. I’m having a lot of fun reading fanfiction, so many talented writers!

What dating Peter Pan would include:

·         Sharing a cozy treehouse with him.

·         Waking up every morning with his warm arms locked tightly around your            body.

·         Peter constantly putting all of your needs in front of everything else.

·         Daily trips to Mermaid Lagoon since Pan knows it’s one of your favorite             spots in Neverland.

·         Peter protecting you from the mermaids.

·         Being a loving and caring mother to all the Lost Boys.

·         Reading bedtime stories to the younger boys while Peter happily listens             in, adding an extra comment when he found necessary.

·         “And they lived happily ever after!” A small boy smiled with delight then              chirped,

“Like you and Pan, right mother?” Peter emerged from the other side of             the well-lit fire where he had been listening to you intently with a proud               smirk on his face.

          “Yes… exactly like Y/n and I.”

·         Pan giving you special one-on-one lessons with the bow and arrow.

·         Having heated makeout sessions in the middle of the forest.

·         Peter teaching you how to properly hunt with him and the Lost Boys.

·         “I’m impressed, y/n. You seem to be a natural at hunting. Well done,                  love.”

·         Pan having to constantly be touching you in some way whether it be                 holding your hand sweetly or resting his on the small of your back.

·         Peter opening up to you about his past and letting you in completely.

·         Becoming close friends with Felix and going to him for almost every bit             of advice.

·         Pan’s eyes absorbing your every move as you twirl around the burning             fire while the enchanting tunes from the pipe pressed loosely against his           lips dance in the air.

·         Becoming Peter Pan’s only weakness.

·         Going on midnight strolls through the dark forest with Peter by your side           to keep you out of harm’s way.

·         Peter growing extremely protective and slightly possessive over you.

·         “I just don’t fancy the idea of you out and about running wild with the                  boys. You’re my bird, not theirs!”

·         Convincing Pan, after much persuasion, to allow yourself to teach him                how to braid hair.

·         “Darling, I don’t see how this will ever come in hand. How is this a useful            life skill? This could never aid me in a fight. What am I gonna do… braid            their hair to death?”

“Peter! Don’t be so vulgar! Maybe sometimes I’m sick of always having              to do it myself and I would like a helping hand once in a while, I mean-“             A pair of soft lips cut you short as Pan held your face lovingly between                his hands, kissing you sweetly.

“I’m sorry, love. I didn’t mean to upset you. It would be my honor to learn            how to braid hair by you!”

·         Peter actually becoming very skilled in doing your hair and jumping at               the idea of braiding small flowers in between each strand of hair pulled             back tightly into a single french braid. Although not ever in front of the               Lost Boys that is.

·         Playing light jokes on each other.

·         Peter adding an entire personal library for you after discovering just how           much you enjoy reading.

·         Cuddling up together in your shared bed after a long and tiring day.

·         Sharing stories from the past to one another and promising not to speak           a single word about them to any other soul.

·         Picking berries and other various fruits together as you two chat and                 joke the day away.

·         Random acts of affection in the most unexpected situations.

·         Bathing together in the rich pure streams of Neverland which eventually           leads into a water war, splashing each other mercilessly as both of your             laughter echoes through the forest.

·         “Wow, love. Didn’t know I make you that wet! You’re dripping for me!”

“Peter Pan! Do not speak such a way!”

          “I’m sorry, beautiful… I just couldn’t resist.”

·         Reading the original fairytale of Peter Pan to Peter and answering all the           many, and confusing, questions he has.

·         Waking up to his plump lips locked softly against your forehead as he               mumbles a tired “good morning”.

·         Peter trusting you with keeping the real Pandora’s Box safe when the               Storybrooke gang arrives.

·         Pan loving you unconditionally, unlike he has ever felt for anyone in the             world.

·         “I don’t know how you manage to do this to me. I love you more than                 this very island, my bird. I couldn’t ever imagine spending a single day               on this island without you, y/n. I honestly don’t believe I could make it                 through the day if that were the case. You’re the prettiest most rarest                 flower I have ever laid my eyes on and I promise you with everything                 inside of me, I will protect you at all cost. I truly do love you, y/n.”

How will our newlyweds handle the aftermath of their first night together in The Black Watch? Will Claire come out of her shell and surprise us all?

The Black Watch: Part 4:

Pulling the duvet up and over her head, Claire listened to the soft swish of the dog’s tail against the small rug that sat in front of the fire. Bran liked to keep her company, and usually she liked it in return.

Covering her ears, she tried to block out the noise, all manner of disturbance disrupting her calm.

True to his word, Jamie hadn’t touched her again –leaving her, instead, to her own devices.

Instead she’d begun to wake, alone and covered in a cold sheen of sweat, her mind replaying erotic imagery that she just couldn’t shake. Trembling, she curled her knees up to her chest and felt beside her, the small dent in the mattress evidence that Jamie had not long been up and away. His side of the bed was still warm, the scent of his flesh buried deep into the down of the duvet.

Her thighs, drawn together by the pulse that throbbed solidly between them, curled towards her chest as she tried to contain the feelings that had been steadily mounting inside of her.

Shrugging her shoulders, Claire slid herself out from under the covers in preparation for the day.

The water in the basin beside the fire was cold, but Claire dipped her hands in nonetheless, ensuring that her skin didn’t freeze too much before washing her face and neck. Shivering, she pulled the cloth from where it sat on the arm of the chair and began to dry the cold droplets from her skin.

Gathering her sewing basket, she pulled the delicate wool of her blanket around her shoulders and curled up on the chair. Usually Claire would do her darning downstairs in the company of Jenny and the others, but today she felt the need for some privacy. Her heart was still racing from her dream, the blood in her veins boiling beneath her skin.

Her hands shook as she ran the coarse fabric of Jamie’s socks through her fingers, poking her fingers through the small holes he’d managed to create with his toes. Claire wriggled her hips, trying desperately to concentrate on her task and not the unspoken devil that seemed to have taken up residence in her tummy.

“Ow!” She yelped, the needle pricking the skin of her fingertip as she lost focus for just a second. Dropping the sock, needle and thread, Claire curled her knees up to her chest as she sucked the injured article into her mouth.

Feeling daft, she closed her eyes letting the damp digit fall from her lips before bending down to collect the limp sock from the floor. Claire continued on, managing to ignore the persistent niggle that had begun to irritate her now.

One sock down, Claire placed her sewing kit safely down on the mantle over the fireplace and paced in front of the fire. The pile that she had to complete seemed to mock her as she puffed and panted stomping her feet against the neatly woven rug. Her discomfort had only grown and instead of dissipating once she’d busied herself it had solidified, causing her skin to tingle periodically, gooseflesh rising on the tops of her thighs as they brushed together.

Below, Jenny glanced towards the ceiling as the rhythmic creaking stopped and started once more. She smiled to herself recalling the conversation she’d overheard between her brother and father only days before.

Jamie had been worried about his approach to Claire after their first *unsuccessful* interaction. In an attempt to comprehend the subtleties in his new marriage he’d approached his father for some sage advice. Jenny, well trained in the art of eavesdropping, had busied herself far enough away that she wouldn’t be noticed, but close enough to hear their conversation.

Having some idea as to Claire’s dilemma, Jenny hitched her skirts and climbed the stairs quietly. She opened the door carefully, hunching her shoulders as she leant her head around the entranceway.

Keeping her voice low, Jenny stuck one foot over the threshold as she approached Claire cautiously.

“I noticed ye didna come to join us, Claire,” she said, breaking the silence.

Turning her head slightly, Claire nodded over her shoulder at Jenny, her hands clenching in the loose fabric of her night-shift as she swayed to and fro. “No, I just wanted some time alone,” she replied smiling slightly as she faced Jenny fully.

“Get yersel’ dressed, lass,” Jenny asked, waving her hand towards the wardrobe as she marched towards Claire’s dresser, “I think we need to have a wee chat, aye?”

Nodding, Claire did as she was told, unable and unwilling to put up any resistance against her – more than compelling – sister-in-law.

The morning air was warm as Claire walked slightly behind Jenny her mind flitting all over the place as she tried to enjoy the fresh air and Jenny’s company.

“You’re restless, Claire,” Jenny interjected, stating the obvious as they stood at the edge of the very field Jamie and Brian were hard at work in. Waving at her brother and father, Jenny bumped her shoulder gently against Claire’s in a familial show of camaraderie.

“He’s restless too.”

Claire’s eyes held Jamie’s as he bowed, winked and continued with his work. Her heart ached a little as she rested her palms on the fence allowing her thick curls to fall over her ears.

“He was asking da for advice the other day so you can trust me when I say this, Claire. He’s a good man, and I’m no’ just saying so because he’s my brother.” Placing her hand on top of Claire’s she squeezed lightly. “He’s too scared to touch ye again, for fear that ye’ll reject him…or that he’ll hurt you again.”

Staying quiet, Claire let Jenny’s warm touch soothe her as she allowed her words to sink in.

“That feeling ye have, the one inside you that willna leave ye be,” Jenny continued, a knowing glint in her eye, “you canna ignore it, Claire. Let it guide ye instead. I promise you, trust in it, and trust in Jamie.”

Jenny left her then, returning to the big house with an impressive smile on her face.

Dipping her toes into the hot water, Claire slid the robe from her shoulder as she sunk into the tub, the steam rising around her as she turned her face towards the fire. She’d taken Jenny’s advice to heart and had spent hours preparing for Jamie’s return eager to attempt intimacy once more.

But the sun had long since set and Jamie had yet to turn in.

Pushing the disappointment away, Claire reached for the soap rubbing the thick bar against her sodden skin as she washed the dirt from the day away.

She closed her eyes, letting the soft lap of the water lull her. The fire kept the tin warm enough that the bath retained its heat. Basking in the glow, Claire dunked her head under, letting her hair float around her face as her feet dangled over the edge. With her ears plugged by the water, Claire failed to notice as Jamie finally appeared.

Closing the door behind him, Jamie held his nerve. Undoing the buttons on his waistcoat, he plucked it from his shoulders, unbuckling his belt next as he neatly folded his dusty clothes and placed them carefully over the arm of the chair. Sitting, he toed off his boots before stripping the shirt from his back leaving him naked as the day he was born.

Upon hearing the noise, Claire peeked her head over the metal edge of the bathtub, her nose butting against the moist, tepid surface as she glanced over to watch her naked husband. Hidden, Jamie could only see her bright whisky eyes as they slid over his nude form.

“Ye waited up for me, sassenach?” Jamie asked, seeing her lost for words.

Smiling coquettishly, her mouth still hidden from view, Claire nodded. Pulling herself up further, her fingers gripped the rim, her knuckles going white with the pressure of holding her weight steady. “I miss you,” she whispered, her wet hair bobbing on the surface of the water as she levered herself so that her elbows now rested along the top of the bath, bringing her head and shoulders fully upright.

Raising himself from the chair, Jamie strode over to Claire and knelt beside her, reaching his hand out to run his finger along the length of her sodden cheek.

“Do you?” He returned, a hint of humour in his tone.

“You spoke to your father about me?” She asked, curious as to what had transpired between the Frasers.

Blushing, the red stain ran along Jamie’s cheeks and down his neck as he dipped his head a little, his forehead coming into contact with Claire as his hands snaked further down her bare body.

The ache intensified as Jamie’s large palm ghosted against the side of her breast.

“Aye,” he whispered in return, his lips resting softly over hers as he wetted them with his tongue, tasting Claire for the first time in weeks. “I wanted to ken how to be a good husband to ye, Claire. HIm and my mam loved one another deeply and I hope,” he paused, placing one delicate kiss against her mouth before continuing on, “one day we might have the same bond.”

Sloshing the water surrounding her, Claire pushed herself up, Jamie’s words warming her inside and out as she joined her lips fully against his now, her hands tangling in his hair as she dragged him forwards.

Doing as Jenny said, he allowed the neediness that she’d been holding back since their arrival at Lallybroch to take precedence over the fear.

“Can I wash you?” She mumbled, pulling back a little now, panting with the exertion of her forceful embrace. Taking a moment just to breath, Claire realised suddenly how little she knew of Jamie. She’d learned, of course, about him as a man, but his flesh was a mystery to her.

Wanting to memorise every inch of him she climbed from the bath and ushered him into the cooling waters, intent on her mission.

Allowing her to take some form of control, Jamie obeyed her signals, plunging himself into the bath in front of her, his back to her chest as Claire lathered up the sponge. Gazing around at her, he reached his hand backwards to keep contact with her, tickling his fingers along the smooth expanse of her arm, the tips of them gathering up the droplets of water her own dunk had left upon her skin.

“Beautiful,” he sighed, blinking rapidly as she began massaging suds into the dirt that’d smeared over his chest during the day.

Claire smiled, a small thing that tugged at the corners of her mouth as her cheeks began to flame under his scrutiny. “Not too bad yourself,” she returned, her tone breathless as if she were struggling to speak.

Leaning forwards, the peaks of her breasts brushed against Jamie’s back as her hands reached below the water line to wash his submerged belly. Trying to contain herself, Claire swallowed, her heart picking up paces as it thudded harder beneath her chest.

He was aroused. His hard flesh bobbing against the back of her hand as she ran the sponge over his groin. Trying to remain calm, she attempted to ignore the sight of him, only failing when she heard him moan lightly. Turning her head she could see his pained expression. Head falling back against her shoulder, Jamie had his eyes squeezed shut, his mouth hanging open as if he were trying desperately to stay still.

“It’s alright, Claire,” he groaned, unable to keep the lust from his tone as he twisted towards her, causing her to drop the sponge in the water and raise her hand to take hold of his. “Ye dinna need to stop…”

“Take me to bed, Jamie,” she stuttered, the throb between her legs intensifying at the mere thought of him holding her against his chest now. Gone were the awful memories of their first encounter, replaced now with a softer image of Jamie, one moulded by the gentleness of his father instead of the merciless Black Watch.

She knew he wouldn’t hurt her, she could feel it in the air that whirled around her in their large master bedroom.

“As you wish,” Jamie returned, quickly rising from tub to take Claire into his arms as they clasped each other close, the moisture making their combined skin slippery as Jamie walked Claire slowly towards their bed.

“I promise–” he began, tipping his head to the left as he nudged her nose.

“I know,” she interjected, her thighs hitting the solid base of the bed as her hands came round to grip his arse. “I trust you, Jamie.”

Wrapping his arms around her hips, Jamie placed Claire gently onto the bed, on top of the sheets, opening her legs with his knees as he crawled over her. Brian had opened his eyes, talking to him about the *proper* way to love a woman. Instead of –coming from behind–, he’d been advised to place himself face to face with Claire, making him more able to watch her. Being more conscious of his movements meant that he’d be able to ensure her pleasure.

Claire lay silently beneath him, her eyes half closed as she ran her hands up and down Jamie’s back. Waiting patiently. Content to have broken the divide that’d separated them, she was happy for Jamie to take his time.

With his father’s advice at the forefront, Jamie slowly pushed his way forwards, twisting his hips upwards stopping just shy as he captured her lips, kissing her passionately until he felt her legs wrapping around his waist.

Reassured that she wanted him, Jamie pressed his way inside her.

Biting down on Jamie’s bottom lip, Claire made a quiet keening noise as her muscles tensed. Pulling her legs closer to her chest, she kept her bottom levered to allow Jamie free movement against her, the pain nowhere near as harsh as she’d remembered it.

Breathing through his nose, Jamie swivelled his hips as gently as he was able, pushing and pulling himself against Claire, holding his weight over her as the pleasure built within him.

Muted gasps filled the room as Claire uncovered the small place inside of her that had been plaguing her dreams. Shuddering with the thrill of it, she rolled her arse upwards, thrusting her hips flush against Jamie as the twinge of something incredible bubbled beneath her skin.

Claire tensed as the sensation grew, her vision blurring as she opened and closed her eyes as she tried to make sense of the ever increasing titillation.

As the room seemed to tilt and swirl below her, Claire cried out, oblivion claiming her for seconds before allowing her body to collapse, fatigue overtaking the pleasure.

Jamie stilled for as long as he was able, his heart pounding as he watched Claire. The whole time he’d been hyper aware of her wellbeing. Cautious of every movement he made, not wanting to hurt her as he had done before. Safe in the knowledge that he’d shielded her from that, he finally let himself go.

Claire smiled, opening her bleary eyes now as she felt Jamie climax above her. Placing the flat of her palm against his cheek, she traced the heated sallows of his face, cementing the vision of him as he panted, trying to fill his lungs with as much oxygen as they could take.

Falling to the left, Jamie shimmied himself and Claire under the covers, keeping her close to his chest as she dozed soundlessly against him.

Kissing her forehead, he linked his legs with hers beneath the duvet and joined her in slumber, the crackle of the fire the only noise remaining as silence engulfed the lovers.

Pickle let me pet his head and didn’t shy away this time :0 Improvement!!

RequestThank you! I was thinking about Ivar being completely in love with YN who’s his total opposite, but they complete each other, always relying in one another. Just a romantic Ivar. What do you think?

Notes: Hey anon! Here’s your request. I really hope that you will like it and that it’s the Ivar you imagined. I’ve got a bit carried away with it and it came out way much longer than what I had planned but who’s complaining? I added a sex scene at the end, I hope it doesn’t bother you! Again, sorry if there’s any mistakes. Enjoy heathens!

You’ve always been the kind of girl who wears her heart on her sleeves. Always caring for everyone, and always here to help. You were well known for your kindness and your beauty and people loved you. You were the daughter of the blacksmith in Kattegat and your duty was to sell his products on the market. Your father’s work was really appreciated and the majority of the warriors came to you in order to buy their new weapons. That’s where you met the princes of Kattegat. You remembered the first time they showed up at your stall. Ubbe, Hvitserk and Sigurd were flirting with you and you blushed at every word they said. You were shy and not used to that. But the one who caught your attention was Ivar.

Three Seems To Be A Lucky Number

Okay, my sweets, in the grand old tradition of my writing history, I have nervously returned with a completely random sort of Drabble and I would just like to say in advance, I am so sorry that this is what I decided to return with, lmfao, fml. Idek, I just wanted to write something cliched and typical, and I’ve been taking my inspiration where I can get it, so I hope it isn’t as terrible as I worry it might be ^^

♡Lil’ Disclaimer♡
Genre: Smut/Fluff/AU/Might as well be a Drabble for me (less that 5k words)
Requested: My apologies, no.
Warnings: possibly crude smut, other than that, I can’t think of anything. This is a very, very tame one for me ^^)

“Just five more push ups, and you’re free to do whatever you want for the rest of the night, I promise…“ It sounds like a nice compromise, I know it does.
But that doesn’t mean it actually is, or that it’s a manageable feat. Which it is not.
What my boyfriend, the guy whose currently playing the role of my drill sergeant, can’t seem to accept, is that my core strength happens to be nonexistent. There is no way I’m doing even one more push up. It’s a miracle I made it to the first five, let alone the even ten this torturer is insisting I achieve. What more does this guy even want from me?
I mean, to me, five seems like a nice solid number. Why try for more?
"Jeon, I really don’t think I can,” I whine, without a hint of grace. My arms feel limp, and I’m not sure my brain can convince my muscles to tense up enough to lift my upper body, even if I wanted to.
“What if I buy you ice cream, is that incentive enough for you?” He offers, quite literally sweetening the deal but I’m still not sure it’s enough, and to be quite frank I just don’t wanna.
Honestly why my lazy ass thought it would be a good idea to date a personal trainer is beyond me. Three months in, and I finally see it was a stupid idea.
“Stop sulking. You asked me to do this remember?” He reminds me, unnecessarily.
I do remember, unfortunately.

How does one learn to do meat and cleanly drawn lineart so fast? You whip out ask answers with very good art and even animation and you do it so damn fast. Does one just learn to do it or do you do something in particular for it?

The key is to stop giving any fucks and draw the same 2 characters 50 times every day for 3 years instead of doing something useful with your life

  • Someone: you should let your guard down sometime! We're your friends! You can trust us! We're always going to be there for you!
  • What I Want to Say: Okay, but if there's anything I've learned in my too many years on this planet it's that people only value your friendship so long as it is convenient and does not require any actual work. The moment you actually ask someone for help or to listen to an issue you're having is the moment you find out just how shallow your bonds are.
  • The fastest way to lose my trust is to use hyperbolic descriptors to describe our friendship. When you say that we're *best friends* and that you'll *always* be there and that there's *nothing* that could ever scare you away, I know that you've not thoroughly thought through what this entails and that you'll be the first to bolt when I inevitably become trying.
  • Don't promise your friendship lightly to people who have learned time and again the cheapness of words. When you hear someone's history of abandonment and isolation, choose the descriptors of your relationship precisely because if you fail to live up to them then you will watch me quietly withdraw into nothingness.
  • What I actually say: Thank you, I really appreciate hearing that!
How To Write When You Have No Reason To

We’ve all been victims to it: Procrastination. It gets worse during weekends and long breaks. When deadlines are our own or don’t exist at all, when inspiration has run out, or when our interest is elsewhere, it strikes. As the summer nears an end, I look back on all my precious free time wasted in front of the television or on the internet instead of writing and wonder what I could have done to write more. Everyone has their own excuses for not writing more, so I’ve designed some of these tactics to be customized to you. Do what works best for your specific needs, but write. Just write.

Time. Do you have it? Maybe you’re a single parent working three jobs while you upgrade your degree. Maybe you’re an unemployed dropout living in your parents’ basement whose unfinished manuscript is the one thing keeping you from getting kicked out. I don’t know. Either way, here are your solutions:

  • No time. You’re super busy? No problem. Make it portable. Put it on a tablet that fits in your bag or in a notebook so that you can sneak it into classes. Every spare moment on the bus or during class if you’ve finished your work early, take it out and work on it. Trust me, as someone who did most of the first draft to her first novel on the school bus to and from school (and during boring math classes…don’t tell anyone), you’d be surprised how much you can get done between things.
  • Average amount of time. Maybe you’re just not very good at putting aside time for writing. That’s okay. Try this: Write for an hour every weekday, two hours weekends and holidays, and an extra fifteen minutes before bed every day. You can adjust it according to your schedule, but when you have stuff to do and time to write, it’s just a matter of recognizing your time to write and taking advantage of it.
  • Too much time. Yes, it’s possible. Your life has no structure and you don’t write because all of your time is spent doing nothing. You know you should write, you just don’t. You need structure. You need goals. So make some. Try writing two chapters per day—or whatever you think is reasonable—and spend a minimum of two hours writing per day. Or try writing three hours per day, a minimum of one chapter daily. Race yourself and see how many words you can write in ten minutes, and keep track of your high score so you can aim to beat it. Every ten chapters or whatever you think is reasonable, treat yourself to a movie or something (preferably not a video game or something that will distract you from writing for too long. The exception is books. Books are good).

Motivation. Writing without motivation is like breathing without oxygen. It just doesn’t work. You may be lacking it for a variety of reasons. You’re bored, things are too predictable, you’ve been working on the same thing for so long, and writing has become (*gasp!*) a chore.

  • Write on location. Does your story take place in New York? You might not have the resources to go there, but take a little satellite tour of your setting using Google Maps or read books that take place there. Everyone knows books transport you places. But your book takes place in Ancient Greece? Go to a toga party. Take a “Which Greek God/Goddess Are You?” personality quiz. The story takes place in the far off future on a planet you made up? Build a diorama of that place! Make a toothpick sculpture of your protagonist’s home. Immerse yourself in your story’s location. Better yet, go there if you can. Sit on the bench where your protagonist had their first kiss and write. Sometimes, all you need is a change of scenery.
  • Simplify it. Our stories can overwhelm us from time to time. Pretend you’re in sixth grade again and do a book report on your own book. I’m serious. Make a poster with the title in block letters smack dab in the middle. Draw out the main characters and glue their pictures on the board next to each of their descriptions. Come up with all the ridiculous English-teacher-symbolism you can get from your writing, whether you meant it to be there or not. Think as a twelve-year-old and list the things about your work the twelve-year-old you would have loved or hated. Map out the plot on a very much simplified plot line to the best of your abilities. All those complications, false climaxes, and flashbacks are suddenly boiled down to beginning, middle, and end. If you want, you can look up book report ideas for elementary school online and do those. I remember doing diorama projects and paper bag book reports in sixth grade. Keep it creative.
  • Entice yourself with the tools you use. If you write longhand, choose a notebook with a cover you’ll never get bored of or decorate the cover as if it were the cover of your published work. Use new pens that write in crazy colours or that have feathers coming out the end that make you feel like some fancy-pants writer. Because screw it, you are. Maybe even use a typewriter for the satisfying *ding!* you get at the end on every line. If you use a laptop or computer, get a cool keyboard that looks like it’s made of wood or put some keyboard stickers on. Do something that makes you want to use your tools of the trade more.
  • Surround yourself with the right things. If you’re lacking in creativity, a messy desk will help. If you need structure, a neat and organized desk will work better. If you’re writing a scene set in the Sahara Desert and there’s five feet of snow outside, change your computer background to camels and turn on the extra heater while you play with that weird sand-dough stuff that can be found everywhere and is meant for children ages 3 and up. If in your next scene your main character is going on a romantic date, light a scented candle. If you’re writing about vampires, pour yourself a cup of cranberry juice and pretend it’s blood. You can take sips during the messier scenes.
  • Get excited. Before you start your next chapter, think about what you look forward to writing in this scene. Are you introducing a new character you really like? Is the drama going to make you cry as you write? Is a planet going to explode? It’s going to be good, and you just can’t wait to get it all written down. If you only listen to one thing from this article that I spent a whole three hours writing, make it this. If you aren’t excited about writing your next scene, your audience won’t be excited about reading it. It will be too forced. It just won’t work. I’ve told you how you can get interested in writing again, you really don’t have to do much more. Just get excited and write.

I hope these tips help you out. When you think about it, time and motivation are all you need for a lot of things, including writing. Now you can go on your merry way and write!

the law of attraction: my smol volley squad.

In response to Aki’s previous ask here, this is my small opinion/character analysis on what kind of person they’d fall for, how they would fall in love, and what kind of person would be best for my volley squad, based on what little i know about human beings and relationships in real life. Here goes!

Kuroo Tetsurou.

How They Fall: We can all agree that Kuroo’s pretty adept at reading people, picking out their underbelly and prodding at the right places. But it might be because of that acute observation that he doesn’t really listen to his gut very much (when it comes to attraction, he cares about rationality less when it’s with friends- when he doesn’t have a motive or goal). I feel like Kuroo would be the type who thinks he knows what he wants and goes for it, but somehow it doesn’t really click until it’s too late that he’s missing something, or he made a mistake (usually about himself, not the other person), and then he’s in a pickle, because he also doesn’t seem like the type to be able to discard people easily because he’s decided in his mind that this person is someone he chose, and he should bear the consequences.

However, I think Kuroo would be the wary type. He might find himself attracted to people easily (probably because he seems such an easy-going/flexible person), but it’s just a small electric shock kind of feeling, or a ‘oh, wow, they’re cute’, and because he knows himself to some extent, he brushes a lot of these feelings away because he thinks that it might just be a false alarm. But that’s just for attraction. I think for someone like Kuroo to really fall in love with someone, he’s level headed enough for it to be a slow and deep process. They’re more than just a significant other, this is someone he’s trusted in, he believes to have his back. I think they’d start off as friends, then very good friends, and perhaps after some soul searching, they become actually intimate confidants and perhaps one day Kuroo will realize that the reason why he hasn’t particularly been interested in other people lately is because everything he needs, he already has fulfilled in this one friend, one person. Precisely because Kuroo doesn’t seem like a fickle person, to me, he would fit the slow to trust, yet incredibly trusting and loyal once he opens up to you.

lmao you know how when you’re on vacation you sometimes wish you could find The One and be swept away in a magical long distance romance and shit

it happened to me in 2016, when I was eighteen years old. it almost happened.

i was on a cruise with my best friend. i met a guy. I was trying to flirt with two other guys and he was left and turned out they were noobs. we talked all night. he was a health but, really buff but really goofy, would jog around the deck and offered me an orange out of nowhere. the next night we watched a movie on the big screen and laid close enough together that our shoulders touched and he didn’t move away and neither did I and thought that was weird and nice. we saw a show with his family and it was nice.

he told me it really sucked how far away we lived from each other, because he liked me so much, on the top deck under the stars, the next to last night. and i had a panic attack because i had never been told that before and he thought it was adorable. we had one more night together after that and decided to stay in touch and he hugged me and spun me around in his arms and kissed my cheek and my forehead and i was so happy and so sad to go.

we stayed in touch for a month. he had family in my home town, said he was coming to visit. said it up until the week it was supposed to happen, then got distant. finally told me he had to stay for some reason. and i cried because i had gotten my hopes up. i told my mom he wasn’t coming because he needed to stay for a personal reason, and she just looked at me and said “bullshit.”

it hurt. all of it hurt. but those days on that fucking boat were some of the happiest of my life. i learned so much and i started to love. one time I told him that no one had ever liked me before, like had a crush on me. and he said, “trust me; you are very likable.”

i looked at men differently, looked at how they looked at me and realized how many looked back. realized that many of them were good and kind. i let some in and locked some out. I even fell again before having to drag myself back up.

i sit here a year after boat guy, always a bit emotional, always a tad bitter over how it ended. but i look around me and realize that it took that absolutely insane experience, to come out of it stronger in spirit and body, to give me validation.

I never thought that type of thing would happen to me, never to me. I’m telling you that it can happen, and that it might not be the perfect ending you want, but you don’t need it to be. what you need is adventure. what you need is to understand on your own that you are more than enough for any man or woman or yourself. that if it doesn’t work out the first or second or third time, it’s not for always.

God works in strange ways sometimes. don’t make the mistake of thinking you know where you’re headed, because you might end up under the stars with someone, too.
