"Don't you know it doll" before you could shoot back a reply, the radio in your squad car called out for you "--- you there?" I glanced back at my car briefly before meeting Bucky's conflicted eyes. "Cop huh?" I scoffed "Mafia huh?" I bit my lip to hold back my smirk but it didn't stop the laughter escaping my lips. Bucky's tongue darted across his lips before cracking his winner smile, "So why did you have me at gunpoint?" Bucky questioned humorously. "You looked suspicious" I answered honestly
Well you know how we tend to associate certain classes or aspects with good or evil? I’ve been trying to give my irl friends Titles for practice and I’ve realised I was associating some people with ‘negative’ or 'evil’ classes and aspects because I didn’t like them much or because they did something mean to me in the past. I then realised that those actions could only be seen as mean based on my perspective.
Ok, I’m rambling now. Back to the point. The thing is each and every classpect has the potential to be good or evil, die a Heroic or Just death. Because quite a lot of the time, a person perceived as 'evil’ is just that, they’re only seen as evil and actually are just acting in their best interests rather than yours. Being evil isn’t a personality trait of any class or a part of any aspect, neither is being good. Sylphs, Pages and Heirs aren’t always super kind or helpful. Princes, Bards and Thieves aren’t always super problematic or against the team.
All classpects can be good or evil or even somewhere between the two. One person isn’t bad because they share a classpect with someone who is. One person isn’t good because of the same reason.
I was thinkin’ I’d just say this. This is a classpect blog after all.
A quick observation about Shiro and the Black Lion’s bonding moment in the S2 finale: right before Shiro retrieves his bayard from Zarkon, there’s a montage of images showing us how closely he and Black have bonded. It’s all memories of their time together, and most of it’s pretty standard stuff that you’d expect, depicting their close relationship over two seasons.
There’s Black rescuing Shiro from robeasts and dino-dogs:
Black rescuing Shiro on the astral plane when they fought Zarkon together:
Flying together - pretty sure this is from the nosedive exercise, the first time they really bonded:
But… one of the memories is… a bit different:
You guys. You guys. The Black Lion remembered the time they made a Voltron cheer-pyramid and Shiro said “and I’ll form the head”. This is one of their important bonding moments. THIS NONSENSE RIGHT HERE is something the Black Lion (and possibly also Shiro) fondly looks back on as a time they bonded.
Like… how funny must this have seemed from the Black Lion’s point of view? Imagine Black standing on top of the cheerleader pyramid laughing uncontrollably to herself in whatever language giant robot lions speak.
Shiro: “Is everyone bonding and focusing?”
Black Lion: “I love you but this is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever done.”
SO KUBO-SENSEI JUST CONFIRMED IN AN INTERVIEW THAT VIKTOR AND YUURI ARE SOULMATES
AND OBVIOUSLY, just like the rest of the fandom i was sCREAMING but then i had a flashback to my philosophy classes and i remembered this:
according to plato, the origin of soulmates is that humans used to have four arms and four legs and a head with two faces. but that annoyed zeus, who determined they should be split in half so they wouldn’t be as powerful and consequentially there would be more people to praise the gods and all that jazz, and it was said that when the two separated humans find each other there would be a deep understanding of one another and they would feel unified, and then they would be truly happy.
AND THEN I THOUGHT “BUT WAIT, THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR”
THE CONCLUSION OF STAMMI VICINO IS ABOUT FINDING YOUR SOULMATE
