Do you ever think like damn… I’m not supposed to think about life and existence this deeply… like I’m honestly just supposed to experience being a human being for the short time that I’m here like I need to stop being so existential and start just FUCKING living and being emotional and being myself without constantly questioning why I’m feeling or thinking or acting this way
a girl at the video game store gave me a discount on horizon zero dawn for no reason and decided she wants to lend me her copy of the last of us because i’ve never played it before and honestly its the nicest thing anyone has done for me in ages i nearly cried
kids are honestly so savage, as i was waiting in line to get my copy of cursed child, this kid behind me asks “why do you have bags under your eyes?” and how am i supposed to respond to that?? “oh i just experience existential dread at least 3 times a day haha” look kid i’m fresh 4 death

Have I been blind? For the first time in my life I feel I’ve opened up my eyes Since you’ve arrived Like an angel from the sky I’m on a spiritual high So don’t you ever go away I could never face Losing you would kill my faith In a higher place
Alright, here’s one argument that keeps popping up in the discussions surrounding Bellamy’s story arc and general judgment of his character, and that’s the idea that “Bellamy was responsible for the culling in season 1″ and that’s just - wrong? Bellamy did not order the culling, Kane did. The Ark leadership’s refusal to face the facts about the Ark dying led to the point where it was deemed necessary. Bellamy’s (unwitting) contribution to the tragedy was taking away the only means of stopping the death of those people. So yes, he definitely shares no small part of the responsibility for those deaths, and obviously, someone who could stop an atrocity from happening and does nothing is responsible for it too.
But he’s not the one who caused those deaths, and neither did he knowingly accept them to reach his own goals. Was it stupid and self-serving to throw the radio away? Yes. Did he potentially endanger all the delinquents by taking away their means of communication with the Ark? Also yes. But he is not the only one responsible for the culling, a lot of other people played a part in that too. And more importantly, he did not intend for it to happen. In the grand scheme of things, that he didn’t intend for them to die isn’t bringing those people back. But it sure as hell says something different about his character than him knowingly causing those deaths would have.
Am I nitpicking here? Grasping at straws to absolve one of my favourite characters of his faults? Probably. But I think there is a difference between saying he caused the culling and saying he contributed to it, and that difference is intent. That is not to say that Bellamy didn’t do a lot of shitty things, or that he is not absolutely guilty of murdering innocent, (in that moment) peaceful people when he went out with Pike to kill the Trikru army. But if we’re going to weigh his sins, let’s try and do it in a balanced way.
I don’t always post a lot of art because I like to post only finished art most of the time, but I do have a billion WIPs. These are some of the ones I’ve done within this year (not in any sort of order). I also have a ton of sketches but these were the only ones in color.
Amazing Bill design yeah. I think I messed up his hair but it’s a learning experience I suppose. Hope you like it :)
((Just a quick sketch because im supposed to be studying lmao))
