Fact: Every Link puts the Master Sword back after its purpose in their quest is fulfilled

Another Fact: Link still has the Master Sword in Super Smash Brothers. Brawl has the cutscene where he draws it from the pedestal again but in the other games he just Has It

Conclusion: Link is procrastinating saving his entire homeland just to beat the crap out of Mario

Why I worry that 23 minutes will not be enough for the final episode of Yuri on Ice

Let me preface this by saying that I don’t actually want to worry you with this post but I need to express my concerns somewhere or I’ll implode. Because at the current moment, YOI has too many things to show in order to provide a satisfying conclusion in just 23 minutes. Allow me to list the things that, in my opinion, the anime must show for such a conclusion to be possible:

  • Victor and Yuuri’s bedroom conversation (this is really crucial and we need to hear every word of it, no time skips or summaries allowed)
  •  Victor and Yurio’s backstories

I think both of their characters suffer without those. Although Yurio probably to a lesser extent because this is his senior debut, he is now making history and his backstory isn’t that relevant. But Victor? Victor desperately needs a backstory (or rather, we desperately need to hear it). His career is practically at its end yet we know nothing about it, apart from the fact that it was extremely successful. But his thoughts and feelings? How he got there? Whether it was hard work or talent? Anything relating to his family? Apart from a few vague lines we still know very little about it. The finale is the perfect (and, frankly the only) opportunity for us to learn more about the mysterious hot ‘n’ skilled guy that is Victor Nikiforov. I worry that without it, he would be nothing but a flat ‘love interest’ character, a perfect Disney prince with little substance (which would be really sad because I really love him).

  • Some sort of conclusion to Yurio’s character (I know he’s only beginning his proper career but it would be a pity if there wasn’t something satisfying about the end of his character arc in the show)
  • All six free skates (and I think this really is not necessary but I’m afraid the creators will try to stuff it all in there anyway)
  • Basically something satisfying about all the Grand Prix Finalists (personally I’m most curious about Chris and his laid-back attitude and what they’re trying to achieve with it; not to mention Otabek and something that would make him a meaningful character)
  • Let’s say it again all six free skate programs because this really stresses me out because that usually takes up most of the episode and we really need to use the time for more important things
  • The two exhibition programs, one Yurio’s, one Yuuri( and Victor’s because it has to be a duet)
  • A wedding maybe???  Some ending showing all the characters after the Grand Prix Final, perhaps not a huge timeskip, but something small like a week or two, seeing how everyone’s life is going along after the Finale. (Also showing Victor and Yuuri who are still together)
  • Basically a wholesome, self-contained conclusion that will make us feel like we got everything we wanted.

That’s all I can think of right now but that’s already a lot and I feel like that’s still not everything. I really hope that they won’t show us Phichit, JJ or Chris’s programs because we’ve already seen them in all their glory and they really won’t contribute to the story right now (even if they contribute to the overall realism of the show).

So yeah, how am I spending my time before the new ep? Worrying. Praying. Either one works.

okay but on hit band panic! at the disco’s second album, pretty. odd. in “I have friends in holy spaces”, a song written by brendon urie, he reminds us that he’d “like it a lot more than [we’d] think, if the sun would come out and sing with [him]” followed directly by noted tearjerker love song “northern downpour”, where author ryan ross turns the song into a duet and reminds the moon not to go down…

OK PAUSE is it just me or do those look like rose quartz?? I could just be jumping to conclusions but until I hear otherwise I’m gonna hold onto the theory that after Pink Diamond was shattered the idea of having any other Rose Quartz out and about was out of the question they had the rest bubbled to make sure another rebellion didn’t happen again. This just a thought don’t come for my life or anything.

**I posted this before I saw this episode lol yellow diamond literally says it in the episode 😂**

Misogyny in Kpop

For example, AoA is getting even more hate because of their appearance on Knowing Bros, a show who’s theme is basically like rebellious high school kids trashing each other. Even when the guests enter, the concept is for them to be rude transfer students who speak informally, even if the regular guests are like decades older than them. How come only girl groups get in trouble for playing these parts. AoA gets shit because chanmi made comments poking fun of seolhyun, saying “chanmi is bullying her members, aoa has bad group chemistry, she’s clearly jealous”. but boy groups and men go on there and play the same roles but no one bats an eye.

When twice was on the show, they were playing a skit where they were all supposed to act like snobby top idols. there was a small section where Jihyo says to tzuyu that she’s prettier or something and people, rather than actually watching the show, just jump to conclusions that jihyo was “bullying poor tzuyu”. What gets me is these are the same people who slut shame seolhyun, say she has no talent and say she’s overrated and hate on her. These are the same people who say tzuyu is overrated, that tzuyu isn’t pretty and that tell her to go die (yes, death threats). and then, for just playing the part, these girl group members get shit for it. It’s like girl groups can’t even act like bullies on a show where the concept is bullying in fear that they will be seen as a bully in real life. That’s like, an actor being afraid to play a serial killer in a movie in fear that people are gonna think he’s actually a serial killer. Boy groups rarely ever face this.

Just another reason why girl groups never get to win.  Because the same girls misogynist pigs (yes, females can be misogynist too!) who are hating on one girl are gonna use that same girl group member to pit her fellow members against each other, pretending they actually gave a damn about any of them in the first place. Honestly stop it. AoA had a terrible 2016 and people can’t let AoA even have a comeback peacefully. How come after the zico seolhyun scandal zico can continue as a hit maker and a top selling producer and musician, but the public won’t even let seolhyun and AoA live. It’s not to say zico’s career deserves damage, but how come seolhyun can’t carry on her own schedules and successes the same way Zico can, it just shows how two people in similar situations can have two very different outcomes just because one is a woman and one is a man. Do Better 2017. Stop the bullshit girl groups have to deal with.

Will cries in Hannibal's presence, and is all emotional as well, but is Hannibal really, genuiely reaction to that? Because it feels like Hannibal doesn't care at all. He is looking at Will being in despair and he's treating it as cold-heartedly as he can, like Will was some kind of experiment for him.

The entire show doesn’t make sense if Hannibal doesn’t love Will. That is the center of Hannibal in this show. That’s what drives him apart from his curiosity.

Hannibal loves Will. He’s effected by Will. He’s changed by Will. He sees Will as the one person in the world who understand him completely, who sees him for who he is and accepts him.

at this.

Look at this goddamn

in genuine goddamn

Don’t even tell me Hannibal doesn’t have genuine emotion for Will. Not only are you wrong, you must not have been watching the show at any point in seasons one through three.

Hannibal is so in love with Will he looks like this

the first time Will touches him and calls what they did and who they are ‘beautiful’.
