juma'ah

  •  Ibn ‘Umar (رضي الله عنه‎ ) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah (Friday), a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.”

Salam Juma'ah.

Assalamualaikum.

Today’s friday, alhamdulilah. The last day of Syaaban yet the first day of Ramadhan right after maghrib. I’m having a break now so I decided to rush home for lunch. I will be heading out to the library right after zuhur. I need to borrow new books. Will go for some mystery or fantasy books maybe?

Sometimes, it’s hard to be a better person with good Akhlak and Aqidah but we have to keep on trying. One should be thankful if a person reminds you personally to make you realize your mistakes rather than reminding you publicly and make you go all embarrassed. You have to be syukur because there is still someone who cares for you. A good friend will make you realize your mistakes, a bad one is when they just let you be that way, committing sins. So let’s us keep reminding each other perhaps? It is best that way. :)

Have a blessed day ahead everyone. :-)

The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday.

Abu Hurairah narrated: the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

.

[Jami at-Tirmidhi - Book on the day of Friday]

Q: “Is the Friday bath (ghusl) obligatory upon a woman?”

Answer by Shaikh al-Albaani:

“If  the Friday prayer fundamentally is not obligatory upon her, then how can the subsidiary issue (the bath) be obligatory when the fundamental (the prayer) isn’t?”[1]

[1] Shaikh Bin Baaz, Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaimeen and Shaikh Fawzaan likewise said that the Friday bath is specifically for men – those who must attend the Friday prayer – not women.
