Holy Prophet (asws) is saying in his Hadith Sherif, ‘He who loves his dunya hurts his Akhirah, and he who loves his akhirah hurts his dunya.’ Therefore you should give preference to the one that lasts over the one that is to perish.
Yes, loving dunya and akhirat is against the teachings of every Prophet, of every Messenger. Because Hz. Isa bin Maryam (as) is saying, ‘As fire and water cannot coexist within the same bowl; in the same way love of the akhiret and love of this world cannot coexist in the heart of a believer.’
We begin with BismillahirRahmanirRahim, we begin with safety. If we begin with Shahadat, we begin with very firm foundation. We want our beginning and our end to be good, and we want our end to be better than our beginning. We are asking Allah swt on this day of Jummah to put a barricade between us and the fire. Until next Jummah.
Holy Prophet (asws) said, ‘reading Surah al Kahf on the Jummah, it will form a protection between you and the Hell fire. Between this Jummah and the next Jummah.’
If you are reciting salawat ul-Sherif hundred times, eighty times, it doesn’t matter, we are not wahabbis to say ‘no, no, no, it’s’ eighty times, not one hundred. Hadiths is saying this, we have to be very specific.’
Recite hundred times, eighty times, a thousand times, doesn’t matter. Holy Prophet (asws) is saying you recite that much, you erase the sins of eighty years from your life.
What a mercy it is that Allah swt is giving to this nation. He has never given to earlier nations. But is the nation in this Ahir Zaman catching it?

Jummah Mubarak from the Osmanli Dergahi NY! There will be a LIVE Broadcast of Jummah Khutbah and prayer from the Osmanli Dergahi NY today approx. at 12.30pm (EST). InsyaAllah www.naksibendi.us/live
Welcome O Believers to the Holy Days of Juma’ah, the Holy Day that the Holy Prophet (asws) is saying, ‘the best day of which the sun has risen is Yaumul Juma’ah.’
Welcome O Believers to the last Juma’ah of the month of the Prophet, the month of Sha’aban. May Allah enable us to spent the days and nights that are left in this Holy month wisely. May we be running to clean ourselves and purify ourselves. And Allah swt has sent us this Holy month of Sha’aban and the Holy month of Rajab that came before it as a great opportunity to grab hold of our egos and bring ourselves back to the Siratul Mustaqim. Because after the month of Sha’aban, we will be welcoming a most Honoured Guest into our homes, the Holy Month of Ramazan.
That Holy Month is coming in which Allah swt sent the Angel Jibril (a.s) to meet the Holy Prophet (asws) in the cave of Hira, where the first verses of the Holy Quran, they were revealed. That Holy month in which 313 Believers came to the battlefield to fight in the Battle of Badr. That Holy month in which Allah swt open for the Muslims, the fateh al-Mecca, the opening of Mecca.
So the Believers must be preparing themselves for this month. And it is said that the Sahaba e-kiram, they would begin to prepare for the Holy month of Ramazan, six months before its arrival. So, O Believers, where are we? Are we preparing for this Month? Are we ready to gain the blessings of this Month?
Just as you would clean your homes before an honoured guest was to arrive, we must clean ourselves. We must purify ourselves to honour and welcome this Holy Month. We must try to get rid of the dirtiness inside ourselves that we have built up so that we can give more honour and receive more blessings for the Month of Ramazan.
And one of the diseases that we have inside of us, one of the great problems that we have inside of us is when we are taking the rights of our brothers, when we are fighting with each other, when we are making fitnah amongst each other. Before the month of Ramazan enters, we must run to clean ourselves up from these wrong characteristics because Holy Prophet (asws) is saying, ‘do not hold grudges against one another, or jealousy, or hatred and do not show your backs to one another. And become as fellow brothers and slaves of Allah. It is not lawful for a Muslim to avoid speaking with his brother beyond three days.’
So before the Holy month of Ramazan is entering, we should be running to repair our relationship with each other and to strengthen the bond of our Brotherhood. Because we are not here in this Jama’at to fight. No. We are here in this Jama’at to work for the sake of Allah. We are here in this Jama’at to be the Flag bearers of the Holy Flag of the Rasulullah (asws). We are here in this Jama’at to be holding high and continuing the mission of our Sheykh, Sahibul Saif, Sheykh Abd Kerim Kibrisi el-Rabbani.
O Believers! Show proper respect to this day of Jummah, the day that Holy Prophet (asws) is saying is holier than the two Eids. He is saying in his Hadith Sherif, When it is Jummah, the angels stand at the gate of the masjid and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in order according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one who sacrifices a camel The one coming next is like one sacrificing a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out, the angels fold their papers and listen to the Khutba. So respect this Jummah so that you may be honored in the sight of your Lord, Allah Almighty.
