Die Apfelschorle is a popular drink in Germany, consisting of sparkling mineral water mixed with apple juice. The broader category ‘Fruchtschorle’ contains any fruit juice mixed with sparkling water, but Apfelschorle is the most common. Wine mixed with mineral water is called Weinschorle. Apfelschorle contains fewer calories and is less sweet than pure apple juice, making it popular in summer and among athletes. Commercially available Apfelschorle contains 55-60% juice; brands include Lift, Gerolsteiner, Rhodius, and Bizzl, but most people and restaurants mix it from actual apple juice and sparkling mineral water.
The cats went to play outside a little bit and I enjoyed my 100% Aloe Vera juice, I went to Germany yesterday and thought I go look for the pure one in one of my favourite store, I found marshmallow shower gel, lol. The little ones aren’t so interested to stay much outside, the wind is a little bit cold today.

Hi there, love this blog! Can you tell me what's the best German orange juice brand?
Hi, thanks. <3 My personal favorites are Hohes C and Granini. Granini also for other juices, like apple-cherry and banana. But some of the “discounter” juices are fine, too, as long as it’s 100% juice and no sugar added. Fun fact: Germany is world record holder when it comes to fruit juice consumption. :)
Throwback to my 10.5 hours flight from Germany to Korea with Asiana Airlines~ Had the best place ever in economy class. The lady at the counter actually said that there are no seats left even though I booked one online. And then she added I had to buy one..?! What the….? Ended up getting a “Preferred Seat” for free haha. Had enough space to stretch out my legs but sadly I couldn’t sleep even a second on the flight 😫 The meal was good though and the entertainment possibilities as well 😀
Juice World Record Holder Germany - Germans are big fans of all types of juices (Säfte). The most popular ones are Orangensaft (orange), Apfelsaft (apple), Traubensaft (grape), and Multivitaminsaft (multivitamin juice with exotic fruit), but there are many other flavors including banana, cherry, and pear. Also popular are Fruchtnektar and Fruchtsaftgetränke, which are similar to Fruchtsaft except they contain less fruit juice and more water and therefore cannot be called Fruchtsaft by law.
