Fantastic Mr. Fox, Wes Anderson (2009)

This is one of my favorite animated films ever, it’s wonderful. The sets and puppets are brilliant, the stop-motion is awesome, the voice actor choices are some of the best ever. And even if it is a film for children there’s Wes Anderson all over it (but nowhere more then the scene where Ash disappointingly states “You’re disloyal.”) . Not only in the constant use of yellow (he really puts Almodovar to shame in the whole using and abusing his favorite color thing) but in the dialogue and even the whole feel of the film. My 5 year old cousin and I can both watch this and both love it for completely different reasons (and for a lot of the same ones too).
