You're dating josh and become bffs w Jenna on tour and you guys do everything together to the point it's like 'where is y/n' 'Just ask jenna' and it makes the boys SO happy cause when they were younger they only dreamed of having their lovers be as close as you as Jenna idk if you've done this request before but if so sorry! (Hope this was specific enough for you !) thx
AN: I’m so sorry that it took me so long to do your request! I hope you enjoy it and that it’s the way you imagined it. If not, I’m sorry (personally, I’m not so happy with it, but I didn’t want to let you wait any longer) Thank you again for your request! xx
Long Lost Twin’s
It was your first time being on tour with your boyfriend Josh and his band “Twenty One Pilots”. Even if it took you a few days to get used to being on the road constantly, it was great. Everyone was really nice and like a family to each other.
To Josh’s and Tyler’s delight, you and Jenna got along very well. The two of you haven’t really met each other in person before because you aren’t from Columbus. So it was only natural that you were kind of anxious about meeting her the first time. She’s the wife of the best friend of your boyfriend. What happens if she doesn’t like you and you don’t get along? Especially when you’re on tour together, supporting your partners.
But none of that was the case. Right in the first few minutes the two of you spoke, it instantly clicked. You already had the nickname of the long lost twins from the crew. You were really happy that you’ve met Jenna and that she toured as well, otherwise it would have been really boring for you. Even if the reason you joined them, was that you wanted to spend time with your boyfriend, you were actually more with Jenna. When we boys sound checked, made interviews, met fans or throughout the whole concert, Jenna and you were like conjoined at the hip.
Some people might find this extremely annoying at one point, doing everything together but it wasn’t the case for you two. And Tyler and Josh liked it as well. Well, maybe to some extent.
“Hey Mark, have you seen (Y/N)?” Josh asked his friend.
“No, man, sorry. But ask Jenna, she will know that for sure.”
Josh chuckled, knowing that Mark was probably right. After walking around the backstage area for a little bit, he finally found the blonde girl, sitting on one of the couches. And surprisingly, (Y/N) was there as well, her legs tangling over Jenna’s lap. The both of them were scrolling through social media, showing each other pictures or posts which made them laugh. They didn’t even notice Josh standing there in the doorframe.
Nothing. None of them looked up to him, either they didn’t hear him or they didn’t want to.
“AHEM!” Josh cleared his throat again. And again. Nothing. The two girls were like in their own little world, oblivious to all the things happening around them. Slowly growing more frustrated, he thought about what to do.
“Great..”, he mumbled to himself. “TYLER!”
It didn’t take long until the boy jogged up to his bandmate, asking what he wants. Josh said nothing, just motioning with his head at the two girls who were still happily scrolling through their social media. Tyler nodded slowly, understanding what the ‚problem‘ was. He motioned for Josh to get his phone out, which he did. They opened the Snapchat App and started recording their two girlfriends.
“Guys, look at that! They exchanged us for each other. I mean, it’s great that they get along, really. But they don’t even notice us.”Tyler chuckled lightly at Josh’s pouting face.
„I feel like the side-chick of (Y/N), while Jenna is the main-one” Josh mumbled.
Right before the video ended, Jenna chimed in. “Guys? You do know that we hear you, right? Even if I would be really honored if I was (Y/N)’s main chick, I’m happily married to Tyler, sorry to destroy your imagination, Josh.” The blonde chuckled.
“Oh really? We’re married? I wasn’t sure if my wife was actually on tour with me, as she is always with Josh’s girlfriend.” Tyler laughed as he fired back at Jenna. You knew that the boys and Jenna all joked around. The guys were so happy that Jenna and you got so well along.
Just as Josh wanted to say something, you decided to say something as well. „C’mon guys, you’re always together, too! Don’t act like we’re completely ignoring you.“
„But Babe, that’s exactly what you just did 5 minutes earlier!“ Josh said. Rolling your eyes, you couldn’t help but laugh slightly. „I did notice you standing there, I just wanted to see you grow more and more frustrated, sorry Love.“
You moved on the couch, allowing the boys to sit down as well. Even though it was a bit cramped with the two couples on the couches, you enjoyed being able to cuddle Josh’s side.
„Please, tell me again why I am together with you.“
You kissed Josh’s cheek and whispered into his ear. „Because you love me!“ Just as he wanted to say something himself, Jenna chimed in again.
„Josh! Are you serious about that video?!“ The boys broke out into a fit laughter, leaving you completely confused. What video? But Jenna was there to your rescue. As soon as you saw Josh’s new Snapchat upload, you hit him on his arm. „You’re such a dork!“
„But you love me!“ Josh grinned at you, knowing that he was right. Which was completely true.

A/N: So this is my first time writing in a while so this is not one of my proudest works, but I just had to get it out. I know that I need to work on my dialogue, as well. I’m such an awkward person that I don’t know how to socialize. Please let me know how you like it!
Requests are open!!
You always had a tradition of Friday night movies. Ever since you can remember you and your family sat down with a pizza and popcorn to watch a movie every Friday night, without failure. When you went off to college, you kept up the tradition as a way to cope with your homesickness. Ever since then, Friday Night Movies was something you could not part with.
When you started dating Josh, it was not hard to continue it as he was on break. The only exceptions were his once-in-a-blue-moon late night at the studio. At first, you just watched a movie without him, but as you grew closer he started coming by afterward and you both fell asleep on the couch.
“Are you absolutely sure I can’t punch him in the face?”
“Can’t I just break his nose a little?”
“(Y/N), you can’t go around randomly assaulting people just because you don’t like them.”
“It’s not just because I don’t like him.”
Josh snorted and took a sip of his drink. “Really? He hasn’t said two words to you since you got here. What possible reason is there to justify breaking his nose?”
“He’s breathing too much of my oxygen.”
“He’s standing 50 feet away from you.”
You tore your gaze away from the man who was leaning against the patio door, beer in one hand while the other clutched his stomach as he doubled over in laughter at something Tyler had just said; and focused your attention on Josh, who had a look of amusement on his face.
“I’m starting to think that the reason his presence bothers you so much, is because it bothers you so much,” Josh teased, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
You scrunched your face up in disgust. “Please. The day I get turned on by Brendon Urie, is the day pigs fly.”
“If you say so, (Y/N).”
You shot the pink-haired man a glare before taking a long swig of your drink.
Josh sat down on the ground next to you. “Why do you hate him so much, anyways?”
“That is a story that I am way too sober to tell.”
“Don’t be like that,” Josh whined, giving you those irresistible puppy eyes that made you melt instantly.
“Ugh, fine,” you groaned as you changed your position so that you were sitting cross-legged. “Story time, children.”
“Children? Plural? I’m the only one here.”
“Just shut up and listen.”
Josh made a zipping motion over his lips and you began to tell him the story of how you grew to hate Brendon Boyd Urie.
You closed your eyes while listening to the waves crash onto the shore, soaking up the last little bit of sunlight before the sky faded into the pale pinks and oranges of a sunset. Inhaling deeply, you let the fresh sea air fill your lungs while the sand caressed your legs. You absolutely adored the beach. It was your favorite place on Earth, and the fact that you’d be spending essentially the entire summer at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world was like heaven on Earth for you.
“So damn gorgeous.”
You opened opened your eyes and raised an eyebrow at the boy who had seated himself next to you. “Excuse me?”
His facial expression changed to one of panic as he quickly tried to explain himself.
“Oh, no, no, I- I was talking about the sunset,” he gestured towards the horizon.
He turned to face you and you got a good look at him for the first time, and in that moment, you knew you would fall for him.
“Although, you’re really gorgeous too,” he said smoothly, giving you a small smile.
You blushed furiously at his words. He laughed. It was the most beautiful sound you’d ever heard.
“And you’re really cute when you blush, too.”
He outstretched his right hand. “I’m Brendon, by the way.”
You shook his hand and your stomach flipped at the sensation of your hand in his. “(Y/N).”
~2 months later~
“Are you sure you wanna do this, babe?” Brendon brushed your hair out of your face and peppered your face with kisses.
You intertwined your hands with his. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m sure. I want this. It’s our last night together for who knows how long, and I want to make it count. Make me yours, Brendon.”
“I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
“When that summer ended, and we had to go back home, he made me a promise. He promised that he’d find me. That he would do whatever it took to be with me again. And I believed him, ya know? I believed him. I waited for him. For months. I tried looking for him too, but every time I thought I’d found him, I hadn’t. Eventually, one day, I did. But then…” You looked up at the sky and blinked away the tears starting to form.
“He was with someone else?”
“He was with someone else.”
“And that’s why you hate him. Because he broke your heart.”
“I realize that it may seem childish, Josh. Still holding a grudge against him for something that happened more than a decade ago. But it’s just that…” you stopped, taking a deep breath.
Josh squeezes your hand, reassuring you and urging you to continue.
“He was my first, well, everything. First kiss, first boyfriend, first ‘I love you’, first guy I ever slept with. First everything. And the fact that he moved on and never even bothered calling or writing to me after that summer hurt like a bitch. And then,” you let out a bitter laugh, “then, I became friends with you and Tyler. And suddenly, Brendon was a part of my life again. Except that this time around, it was even worse because he didn’t even remember me. He didn’t remember me or anything he and I said or did. Like all of that was nothing. Like I was nothing.”
You held up a hand to stop him. “It’s okay, Dun. Really. You don’t have to say anything. But now do you understand why Brendon isn’t someone I want to be around?”
“Excellent!” you exclaimed while clapping your hands together. “Story time is over now, children.”
“I’m older than you.”
“Whatever.” You rolled your eyes and got up from your spot on the grass, pouting when you noticed that your glass was empty. Grabbing Josh’s hand, you started dragging him towards the kitchen. “C'mon, I need a refill.”
As soon as you disappeared through the patio door, Brendon stepped out from behind the tree where he’d been listening.

The library in Beacon Hills High was once again
destroyed as opened, closed, and ripped books were scattered throughout the
library. The thick and heavy wooden tables were broken in half, and the chairs
were without a leg or two. Some shelves were pushed back and leaning against
one another until the last shelf was against a wall, almost looking like a
domino effect. Pieces of broken glass were spread throughout the floor, which
were being smashed into smaller pieces as the students quickly ran out of the
Josh quickly passed by some of the fallen
shelves; he almost didn’t see the injured girl in the far corner trying to
hide. If he hadn’t heard the soft whimpers, he would have never known someone
He took a step backwards and turned into the
small space between the two shelves, slowly approached the girl. The girl pressed her hand against her torso and use her other arm to scoot herself further
back into the dark corner. As Josh got closer to the girl, he realized who she was.
It was Y/N, the girl who happened to be in his English class. She was always
quiet, but always knew what she was doing in class, a subject Josh struggled
with. He’s always thought she was cute, and he’s thought about asking her to tutor
him countless times, but he was too scared to talk to her.
Tyler’s been a naughty little shit lately. He goes crazy, loses his temper over everything, has a hard time making decisions, makes snide remarks, and can hardly function. Josh thinks it’s like the male version of PMS and he knows how to fix this.
“Tyler, come here.” Josh said sternly, motioning with his hand.
“What is it now, Josh?” Tyler sighed, heading towards him from the bathroom.
“Just trust me, okay? Lie down on your stomach.”
Tyler rolled his eyes and got down on his stomach, splaying out on the mattress as Josh busied himself sliding the belt out of his pants.
Tyler was just about to doze off, when Josh brought the belt around Tyler’s wrists, securing them together tightly.
“What are you doing?!” Tyler squealed and jerked.
“Shhh, I’m going to make you feel good.” Josh spoke with ease. “You know our safe word, right?” Now Tyler definitely knew what he was up to and his dick twitched in interest. He nodded and gritted his teeth, cursing Josh for doing this so close to stage time.
“Let’s get you out of these pants now, what do you think?” Josh asked rhetorically.
“Mhmm.” Tyler responded, knowing full well that Josh was in charge. If he didn’t behave, he would only get punished like last time. Josh got him worked up and wouldn’t let him cum, then made him wear a butt plug for the rest of the night. He blushed and his body tightened up at the thought of having to carry out another show like that. Although it did help with hitting the higher notes.
Josh began by taking off Tyler’s shoes and socks, letting them drop to the floor. Then he glided his hands underneath Tyler’s hips to undo his pants and slide them down all the way. Tyler shivered from his cold hands on his warm skin. Last but not least, Josh ran his hands over Tyler’s ass before hooking his fingers into his briefs to slide them down and then off. Tyler gasped and laid their helplessly as he was fully exposed to whatever Josh had planned for him. Tyler’s cock had become fully hard just from all of Josh’s teasing little touches and caresses while he was undressing him and could not hold back little moans and whimpers. Josh, who was still fully clothed, straddled his back and trailed kisses up his neck. He slowly sank his teeth in while finding Tyler’s hole with his finger, circling it gently.
“Jo…ooosh.” Tyler’s moan got interrupted as he felt the first one slide in, then a second. Josh chuckled against his neck causing Tyler to tremble again as he felt his hot breath. He scissored and fucked him with his fingers a good few minutes while sucking bruises into his skin until Tyler was a mess of heavy breathing and squirming. Josh smiled demonically, knowing his plan was working and he slowly began moving down his back, trailing kisses the whole way.
Tyler grew frustrated, burying his face into the mattress and straining against his restraints. He cried out when Josh gripped his ass, pulling him open. He enjoyed watching Tyler struggle underneath him as he massaged his ass. He knew Tyler was sensitive enough to get off just on this.
“Fuck Josh, please.” Tyler grunted, grinding his hard dick into the mattress which was leaking copious amounts of precum.
“So needy!” Josh mocked, landing a hard smack on his ass. This caught Tyler by surprise and he yelped at the sting. Josh liked his reaction, so he did it again in the same spot but harder, admiring the slight jiggle and imprint it left on his skin. He grabbed the flesh of his ass, pulling him open again to blow on his hole. Coming down face-level, Josh barely touched the tip of his tongue to it and felt Tyler twitch. It’s been a while since he’s been rimmed and he was already a complete mess, drooling and moaning into the mattress.
“Josh let me cum, pleeease” Tyler whined pathetically. Josh was edging him dangerously close.
“Is this hard enough for you, baby boy?” Josh taunted him again with more kitten licks, only being met with more moans and panting. Josh licked more aggressively, dipping his tongue into him while kneeding his ass. It earned him more noises from Tyler’s pretty mouth, which only made his cock ache harder to be inside him. Josh reached down with one hand, shoving his pants down and pulling his cock out to stroke it while he ate Tyler out.
“Alright, you little slut,” Josh wrapped his fingers around Tyler’s narrow hips, pulling him up onto his knees. He guided the tip of his dick to Tyler’s hole, rubbing against it before pushing in. Tyler grabbed fistfuls of the sheet and cried out in a mix of pain and pleasure as Josh immediately began fucking into him, deep and fast in pursuit of his own orgasm. Tyler choked on his sobs from how Josh was hitting his spot over and over again, because he was trying so hard to make it last. But once Josh reached around to clumsily grab his cock and start jerking it, there was no turning back. Tyler was caught by his orgasm and his muscles convulsed as he lined the sheets with cum. He was in hysterics, so loud that Josh had to clasp his hand over his mouth. Josh let go within seconds, filling Tyler up and riding it out until he was shuddering and his hips ground to a halt. He affectionately ran his fingers over Tyler’s back while slipping his spent dick out of him.
“You did so well for me, angel. How do you feel.” Josh praised to a fucked-out Tyler. He laid down next to him on his back, breathless and sated. Tyler turned his head to admire his sweaty, sexy boyfriend who was too stupid to untie him.
“hey um, Josh? can you please take this belt off my wrists now?” Tyler asked as sweetly as possible, pushing up onto his knees and holding his hands out to Josh.
“Oh yeah, sorry man.” Josh grinned and kissed him before beginning to undo his makeshift restraint.

ty dragging his favorite stuffy and blanky all around the house following josh because he wants to cuddle
josh has been busy with work around the house - fixing the cable downstairs, tightening the leaky faucet upstairs, silencing the stupid beeping noise that emanates from the fridge every time they open the door.
and tyler has trailed after him, dragging mr. dog and his favorite sky blue blankie, looking for cuddles.
only he never told josh that, just sat with his stuffie and his blankie as josh fixed everything, out of the way in a corner of whatever room they were currently in. until josh motioned for him to follow and they went off to the next problem.
finally, josh collapses on the couch and tyler scrambles up next to him, holds his arms out. “dada, i’ve been waiting.”
“waiting?” josh sighs, obviously exhausted, but pulling tyler onto his lap anyway. “is that why you’ve been following me, baby?”
tyler nods, wrapped in his blankie with mr. dog on his lap. his arms tighten around josh’s broad shoulders.
“oh, ty, you should’ve told me. this stuff could wait until later.”
shrugging, tyler presses his sleepy face into josh’s neck. “’s okay, da. didn’t wanna be a bother.”
Hey! Could you make one of Josh where him and y/n meet in a diner and they ask each other out? :3
(also I know you underline book titles but i have no idea how to do that with tumblr’s format)
You flipped through the pages in Gatsby, trying to find the place that you left off. You finally found it and began reading it, highlighting and underlining when it seemed appropriate. This was your third copy of Gatsby and honestly, you probably needed a fourth. The book was almost falling apart. There were several pages that had highlighter so overlapped that it caused a hole to form in the page. You picked up your coffee cup to find that it was empty. You silently stood and brought your cup to get a refill. “Okay,” the barista said, looking rushed. “It’ll be a second. We’ll call your order when it’s ready.” You looked around to see that after the hour that you had been sitting in the shop, it had gotten quite busy. You simply nodded and went back to your seat, to open your book again. A few minutes later, you heard your order called out and stood to retrieve it. As you grabbed the coffee cup, another hand reached for it. You automatically pulled your hand back without the cup and the other person did as well. Looking up, there was a man standing there. He nodded to the drink. “You can have it.” You shook your head, “No, no, I think you ordered yours first. I’m not in any hurry.” The guy shook his head. “Nope I-“ Just as he went to protest further, the barista placed an identical coffee cup next to the first one. You smirked up at him and grabbed the first drink. “Wow, I mean, you got lucky. I would have never taken that drink first,” he smiled. He picked his coffee up and took a sip before quickly pulling the cup from his mouth. “Too hot?” you asked, only a little concerned. He nodded a little before whispering, “I’m good. It’s good. Well, have a good day.” He walked off and sat at his computer on the table in the corner. You sat at your table and opened your book again. Before long, you heard the chair in front of you scrape across the floor. You looked up to see the same guy from earlier. His drink was now empty and his laptop closed. “Hey,” you smiled, a little timid due to the fact that a complete stranger had sat across from you. “Hey, I’m Josh.” He smiled right back “I’m (Y/N).” After what seemed like hours of talking, you were convinced that Josh was probably one of the best guys that you knew. The cafe eventually closed and the two of you were left walking down the street. “Did I tell you that you have beautiful eyes?” You smiled and looked down to hide your blush. “Thanks.” “Do you think maybe-” “Do you want to go-” Josh chuckled before motioning for you to continue what you were saying. “Do you maybe want to go and get something to eat?” Josh chuckled. “Of course I do. I was about to ask you the same exact question.”
Running away is never the answer but when you’ve given up on everything and everyone around you, it just might be the right thing. Always known disappointed you wanted to head out west, hoping that luck was on your side over there. Maybe a new place called for new opportunities. Maybe it brought better days, maybe it’s just what you need. Sometimes you need to step away from toxic people and the toxic life some of us are so used to by now. Only a few break from the norm and actually leave.
Gripping the straps of your bag, you continued walking. Flinching slightly as the car zoomed past you. Kicking the rock in front of you, you bit down on your lip. The sun would set soon, you need to get somewhere, at least try to find a place to stay. Sighing you looked up at the road sign in front of you. 10 miles until the nearest town. Stopping by the road you dropped your bag on the ground and held your thumb up. Frowning as cars just zoomed past. Shaking your head you picked up your bag again and continued walking.
Looking up at the bus that had slowed down just a few feet ahead. Biting down on your lip you slowly made your way to it. Two boys jumped out from the front, a red-haired boy, with a snapback, his hands deep in the pockets of his jeans. A brunette boy with a small smile on his face as they made their way over.
“Where are you going” you heard him ask,
“Next town over” you replied gripping the straps of your backpack, he tilted his head towards the bus and you made your way over
“Tyler,” he said as he held his hand out to you, you smiled and shook his hand
“Y/N” you replied
“This is Josh,” he said as he motioned towards the snapback boy, you smiled at him and shook his hand as well. Climbing on the bus, you set your back down by your feet as you took a seat on the small couch.
“How long have you been traveling” you heard Tyler ask as he handed you a water. Smiling you took a sip from it and sighed as you stared down at the water
“A few days” you mumbled looking up at him “I usually stop at night, try to find a cheap motel” you giggled slightly “But there was no way I was going to make it into town before the sun set,” you said looking over at them.
4 days later
You had been on the bus with Tyler and Josh for a few days now, Tyler refused to let you out there again. He said that you could travel with them until you hit your destination. You had tried multiple times to leave but he wouldn’t let you. Josh had spent the most time with you, taking you backstage, showing you how to skateboard. Him teaching you how to tune his drums. Watching TV shows at midnight with him, staying up until 4 in the morning arguing over conspiracy theories.
Pulling your hair into a messy bun, you made your way towards the little lounge in the back of the bus.
“Hey,” you said shyly looking over at Josh, he smiled at you and patted the spot next to you
“I’m watching a documentary,” he said as he moved his laptop a bit
“On what” you giggled as you walked over and sat down next to him
“Aliens” he replied, his cheeks turning slightly red, smiling you nodded and leaned back into the couch, your eyes focusing on the screen in front of you. “Do you believe in Aliens” you heard him ask. Looking over at him you shrugged a bit.
“There is so much out there,” you said “I’m not sure if I believe in them but at the same time, there has to be other life out there” you added making him nod. “There are so many things that humans aren’t able to reach, so who knows what really is out there” you mumbled looking down at your lap.
“I think they are real,” he said looking over at you, you looked up at him through your eyelashes and nodded your head, “I think that they’re out there” he added with a small smile. You smiled at him and nodded your head. You focused back on the screen when he hit play.
Rubbing your eyes you leaned your head on his shoulder, he shifted a bit letting you get more comfortable. He put his arm around you as the two of you continued to watch shows about Aliens. Yawning you curled up and your eyes started to close slowly. His hand moving up and down your arm softly, the warmth coming from his hand made you feel safe. It made you feel at home.
Pressing your back to the couch, you crossed your legs and sat on the floor. He laid his head on your lap, his legs spread out he looked up at you as you played softly with his hair.
“Can I ask you something?” he asked, nodding you bit down on your lip and looked over at him. “Why did you leave,” he asked biting nervously on his lip. Giggling a bit you shrugged slightly
“Just need something new” you replied looking down at him “I’ve been in a rut and I’m ready for something good. I want a better tomorrow” you added. He nodded as you spoke to him
“What kind of future do you want,” he asked, tilting your head slightly you stared at the wall in front of you.
“Well I want to settle down at some point” you said still thinking about the future “I want to be happy” you added making him frown at you “I want to find someone who I can have 2 am conversations with and won’t leave when I pass out” you chuckled a bit, taking a deep breath you tried to hide the pain, shaking your head you forced a smile and looked over at him. He frowned and quickly sat up, his thumb running softly across your cheek, you looked over at him. Your eyes glossy with tears
“You’ll get that” he whispered “You’re amazing and I’ve only known you for a couple of days” he chuckled nervously. Smiling at him you leaned into his touch and closed your eyes.
“Thank you” you whispered and opened your eyes, his cheeks slightly red, his lips slightly parted as he stared at you. He quickly removed his hand and sat down next to you.
“I know it’s hard finding your place in this crazy world,” he said looking down at his lap “It’s hard feeling like you always have bad days but, it gets better trust me” he added looking over at you.
"I felt that I had disappointed my parents by not going to school and quitting my job to be in a band" he chuckled “But I think they’re proud of me and that’s what I wanted, to make them proud but, I had to break out of the norm. I had to dream big and take risks. So maybe heading west won’t be such a bad thing for you” he said with a small smile. You nodded your head and leaned your head on his shoulder. Sighing you closed your eyes as his lips pressed to your forehead.
“I’m glad you found your place,” you said looking down at your hands. He nodded a bit and reached over taking your hand in his, lacing your fingers together
“I can help you find your place,” he said looking into your eyes “I won’t give up on you” he added before he leaned over and pressed his lips to yours. Closing your eyes you slowly moved your lips with his, the feeling running through your body was something new, you felt loved, you felt every inch of what he had to offer to you. Somebody who was willing to drop everything for you, someone who was willing to give you love like nobody had before.
1 Week later
Leaning against the doorway frame, you stared at him. His laptop barely resting on his lap, his head tilted back, lips parted. Small snores leaving the back of his throat. His arms crossed over his torso. Biting down on your lip, you looked down at your worn out converse. He knows where he is going, he knows what’s next in his life. He knows what tomorrow will bring for him. He knows that when he gets off this bus he has a home. He has a place to go, he has people who worry about him. He has parents who call him every day to ask how his day is. He has siblings who sent him silly text messages. He has a best friend who will drop his life for him.
He had so much to offer someone, so much love to give to someone. Who are you to take that from someone. Who are you take a love that belongs to someone else, someone who can love him back the same way. He doesn’t need someone who is lost, he doesn’t need someone who needs help finding herself. He needs someone who is ready to be with him, someone who has their life together. Not someone who is figuring out what tomorrow will bring, not someone who goes day by day wondering when things will get better.
Wrapping your arms slightly over your torso you took a deep breath. Wiping your cheeks you tugged gently on the sleeves of the hoodie he had lent you a few nights ago in Colorado. Turning around you made your way back to the bunk they had offered you. Climbing in you sniffled and stared up the ceiling.
Closing your eyes you felt your warm tears rolling down your cheeks. Wiping your cheeks you tried your hardest to keep from gasping too loud. Sliding out of the bunk, you gather your things in your bag and looked around. Walking towards the lounge you slowly made your way over. Closing the laptop you placed it gently next to him. Bringing the blanket slightly over his body he gripped the hem and curled up.
“I’m sorry Josh” you whispered as you leaned down and pressed your lips to his forehead.
“Someone can love you more” you whispered, he mumbled a bit in his sleep. Running your fingers slightly through his hair, you covered your mouth with your hand as you tried to keep from crying. “I’m sorry” you repeated as you walked out, grabbing your bag you slipped past Tyler who was sleeping on the couch.
Looking back you ran your fingers through your hair as you watched the bus get small with every step you took. Pulling the hood over your head you slipped your hands into the pockets and continued walking.
