“Love Is On It’s Way”

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience is one of my favorite DVDs in my collection. A truly great concert with the perfect amount of dumb sketches thrown in there and far more cheesy, forced 3D moments than anyone would ever want. The live performances are wonderful, of course, but it also has this music video for a brand new song called “Love Is On It’s Way” which turns out to be one of my all-time fave JoBro songs. It’s simple and schlocky and uplifting and Nick and Joe both sound great. The music video really leans into the 3D, with Joe shoving his tambourine at the camera and WATCH OUT! there are some CGI pigeons flying RIGHT AT YOU!

Everything about this is pretty corny, but sometime I really need something corny, and this is always here for me. Unfortunately there is no High Quality version on YouTube, so really what I recommend is going out and buying a copy of the DVD for yourself!

Can you recommend any good documentaries?

Absolutely!

  • Earthlings. I watched this last year and it changed my whole life. I realised how much had been hidden from me and the impact of my actions. I really think this is something we should all watch, and be able to make educated decisions for ourselves. Cannot recommend enough.
  • Food For Change. This came with our Vitamix and mum, dad and I have sat down and watched it together a couple of times. It’s a really good basic, introductory source of updated and relevant information from the health world.
  • Miss Representation
  • Forks Over Knives
  • Life in a Day
  • Food Matters
  • Food, Inc
  • Vegucated
  • Happy
  • Park Avenue
  • The Beautiful Truth
  • Ethos
  • An Inconvenient Truth
  • Supersize Me
  • A Place at the Table
  • Bridegroom
  • The World Before Her
  • Into the Pride
  • 3 Magic Words
  • Blackfish (I really want to watch!)
  • Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience

If you have a Netflix account, check out the ‘documentaries’ page it has a plethora of interesting films. Otherwise, a large amount of them can be watched just on youtube :)
