“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.” — Kurt Vonnegut, God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater
Redyed hair always improves my mood. Dress thrifted, head scarf from an antique shop in western NY I went to as a kid, stocking from Walmart around Halloween, John Fluevog boots off Etsy. Having my coworker finally finish the piece on my inner right arm, so excited!
Sassy love continues from January 1991. Get a little country with catalog shopping. Featuring a “Hee Haw” gingham square-dancing top and matching skirt from Shepler’s catalog with red boots from John Fluevog and red tights by Danskin.
Looking like some sort of spooky Jane Austen character in this thrifted dress, which I’m pretty sure is vintage 70’s. Goblin King necklace made by me, lacy thing from TJ Maxx, earrings and sunglasses were from an antique mall in Georgia. The unseasonably warm weather continues.
A little screen vampire love; The Countess with a rockstar Lestat attitude. Shirt from Hot Topic, boots off eBay, vintage Lip Service pants are thrifted, can’t remember where I found the gloves for sure.
My surprise of yesterday? Line work for a huge, awesome tattoo up my whole right thigh (better picture later), because apprenticing has awesome quirks and coworkers. Vintage Lip Service skirt thrifted, John Fluevog boots off Etsy, belt off eBay, cropped NIN shirt from a local event night.
