‘THANKS 4 EVRYTHING DAVE’ is the first preview from fuzzy hit-maker JOEY FOURR’s upcoming cassette 'WE EP’.
JOEY is an EP machine at the moment, 'WE EP’ is his third in the last six months. Previous effort 'Crack is Whack’ is still a permanent fixture in the Fuzzbook household, and we are literally taking a shit in excitement for JOEY’s new tape.
'WE EP’ is being released by Bad Paintings on December 10th. You can pre-order now. Oh, and it comes with a screenprint made by the man himself.
I have yet to wrap my head around the concept behind London label’s Art Is Hard “bi-weekly pizza club”, how these songs relate to pizza, or what even constitutes a song, a pizza, or a man for that matter. There seems to be an air of whimsical tomfoolery and presentation fandango that occasionally takes control of even the best quarters of the musical globe, and in the midst of this seemingly airborne buffoonery we can only stand at a distance, gazing sternly from the side with cold, unflinching eyes, and suddenly deal ourselves a resonating blow on the forehead with the full sweep of our arm, as we realize that we have left the tap running at full carouse in the kitchen yet again, and the keys to the apartment have been taken to be copied by our untidy roommate and hapless business partner Ignacio, who has probably lost them already, that untrustworthy fool. He sleeps in the top bunk while I at the bottom, but by this rate it is becoming increasingly apparent that neither of us will get much of sleep tonight, or the inkling of a bed for that matter.
