season two steve: don’t talk to me or my son or my other son or my daughter or-

You: Steve is better than Jonathan OR Jonathan is better than Steve.

Me, an intellectual: Steve and Jonathan are both complex, well-written male characters with their respective flaws and strengths and shouldn’t be put against each other but should both be cherished and loved.

Anyway isn’t it great how Joe West is one of the most amazing and complex characters on this show?

And how every single other character has been impacted by his bravery and his devotion to the people he cares about?

And how the Flash only exists because Joe opened his home to a scared little boy?

And how he does what he thinks is right and raised his kids to do what they think is right?

And how for all his mistakes with his kids they have never once doubted that they were entirely loved?

Isn’t that rad?

I mean check this guy out.
