Jimin tilted his head as if to ponder the idea before tugging you across the bed until you were leaning against his chest, curious eyes catching your own.
“Sure, I mean one day. One day, far, far away,” He said, pointing his finger off into the distance jokingly.
You laughed, hand skimming along the back of his neck. “Yeah, me too.”
“Any particular reason why you’re asking?” He said as he began playing with the strands of your hair.
“I dunno,” You shrugged. “We’ve been dating for a long time, just thought that it’s something we should know about each other.”
Jimin nodded, “No, you’re right. It’s kind of something you should figure out before things get too far in the relationship… Guess we waited a bit too long, but we’re on the same page, so that’s good,” He smiled, leaning down to place a short peck against your lips.
“So that means you think that information will be put to good use one day?” You asked, quirking your brow to insinuate.
“I’m so fucked,” Jimin groaned, burying his face into the palms of his hands. Thoughts of you, the agreement, and his confused feelings, simultaneously unraveling in the pit of his stomach.
“I still don’t get why you’re so stressed about it,” Jin said as he pushed a coffee across the table towards his friend, who at that very moment seemed to be having a complete breakdown. “It’s just sex. You’re having sex with someone that you’ve had sex with many times before. What’s the issue?”
“The issue is,” Jimin paused, taking a sip of the coffee, hoping that by some miracle it would help him singe the worries plaguing his mind, “That, first of all, it’s been four years since we’ve had said sex, and second of all it’s not sex sex. It’s going to be this weird agreement, deal, manufactured, whatever sex.”
Jin chuckled in amusement. “Do tell, what exactly qualifies as sex sex? I guess I should find out if I’ve been doing it right, according to Dr. Park standards,” He joked.
Jimin sighed, ignoring his friend’s banter. “It’s like, you know… Regular sex. Where it can be intense and emotional… This feels just so detached and distant.”
“As if you’ve never had a one night stand where there were no emotions involved beyond sex. What’s the difference here?” Jin replied simply with a shrug, however Jimin already had his reasons resting on the tip of his tongue.
“It’s completely different. With something like a hook-up you can still be raw and vocal about how it’s making you feel, even if it’s just shallow stuff like how good it’s making you feel. Because even though there’s no emotions, you’re both still doing it for the pleasure of sex at least. Wouldn’t it be… I don’t know, inappropriate to say things like how good she’s making me feel in the moment, or touching her in a romantic way, when we’re supposed to be having sex for the sole purpose of getting her pregnant, and not even for pleasure? Hell, can I even kiss her without it crossing the line for what we’re supposed to be doing?” Jimin breathed out heavily, running his fingers wildly through his hair as the situation at hand continued to torture his mind.
It was a real concern, how exactly was he supposed to act? Could he kiss you? Could he say certain things? Could he do anything besides, to put it very bluntly, come inside of you? He knew that these things would be talked about once the time came, but honestly that made Jimin feel something strange buried deep within his chest. This girl, who he’d loved for so long now, who he’d experienced so many things with, was now a complete mystery to him. Not because you’d changed specifically, but because the context of what the two of you were to each other had changed, and honestly… He hated that. He despised the idea of not knowing how to act towards you, when it used to feel as natural as breathing to be with you, so yeah, he just really, really hated that.
Jimin was absent-mindedly tapping at the sides of his coffee cup when Jin finally decided to give a response
– albeit a completely unhelpful response. “Yeah… You’re kinda fucked, man,” He ended up saying, bringing his hand up in an attempt to hide his shameless amusement.
Jimin scoffed, “Thanks, real fuckin’ helpful.”
“Okay, in all seriousness I think you just need to talk to her. Ask her what the limits are for this little arrangement the two of you have going on, and then work from there.”
“Yeah I know,” Jimin whispered somberly, “I just hate not knowing how I’m allowed to be with her anymore, when…”
“When you still love her,” Jin finished, and Jimin simply nodded in return. It was quiet for a minute or so after that, allowing Jimin’s thoughts to run haywire again, but luckily Jin spoke before it could get too far. “You’ll figure it out. She picked you for a reason, you know?”
“Yeah… Guess you’re right,” Jimin said hesitantly.
After that they continued to talk for a while, but removing themselves from the conversation of Jimin’s strange love life. It helped for him to have something to do besides wallow in what was going to happen in the coming days with you. Jimin could only hope that, with whatever transpired between the two of you, that you would be comfortable and happy with how everything turned out in the end, because really that was the most important part of all of this.
Jimin was still thinking heavy thoughts when Jin stood up from the chair across from him. “C’mon, we got lives to save,” He said, motioning for Jimin to follow.
“Yeah, yeah,” Jimin mumbled.
“You wanna spend the day in the maternity ward?” Jin asked, a smug grin playing on his lips.
Jimin punched his friend’s arm playfully. “Jerk,” He muttered before the two doctors headed down the hall, leaving their mildly heavy conversation behind
– well, for now at least.
Seokjin: You were sitting at a restaurant, eating lunch with Jin when a couple with a baby sat at the table beside you. The baby kept making faces and waving at you so you did the same in return. Jin was quite amused seeing how excited you got over the baby trying to interact with you. When the mother started feeding the baby, Jin took it upon himself to suggest something. “What do you think about us having one?” A smile spread across your face and he reached over to take your hand in his.
Yoongi: As you were taking a stroll through a park with Yoongi, a little kid came up to you and gave you a flower. You gave them a small bow and said thank you. Yoongi could tell how happy that made you. He knew that you enjoyed kids and the smile on your face made him even more sure. “We could have a little person of our own to bring you flowers they pick up.” You glanced over at him, not thinking he was serious until you saw his expression. “Seriously Yoongs!! That would be amazing.” He pulled you close for a kiss and then you both watched the boy admiringly as he ran back to his family.
Hoseok: Your heart melted when you watched your friend’s toddler walk over to her and hug her tightly. They were over at your house for a get together and you had been in love with the little guy since he first waved at you and giggled. Hoseok had been standing across the room speaking with some of his friends and noticed how much you liked this kid. The little boy then walked over to you and raised his arms, suggesting that he wanted to sit with you. Your face lit up as your reached down and brought him onto your lap. Later, when you and Hoseok were in the kitchen alone preparing some food, he gave you a big hug. “So when should we have one of our own?” He turned his head to look at the toddler playing peek a boo with another one of your guests. You exclaimed in excitement and he kissed your forehead.
Namjoon: Namjoon had dragged you out to the dancefloor at a wedding for a relative. Both of you were not the best at dancing, but you still tried your best. When one of your little distant cousins walked up and grabbed your hand to dance with you, you couldn’t refuse. Their little hand felt so tiny inside your own. Joon had taken their other hand and you were dancing in a small circle. Before they went back to sit with their parents they gave you both a kiss on the cheek and then they scampered off. “I think I want one,” you turned in surprise at your boyfriend’s words. He was smirking watching your cousin run into their parent’s embrace. “Alright babe. We will, but maybe wait a bit.” He nodded and wrapped his arms around you, swaying to the beat of the slow song that was now playing.
Jimin: You had been asked to babysit by a close friend of yours. Jimin, who wanted to spend some time with you, tagged along. The baby was a little over a year old, still requiring diaper changes which you both participated in. Feeding her was quite a task which ended in food all over the high chair and herself. When it was finally time to go to sleep, you held her in your arms while Jimin softly sand some lullabies. You were both sitting on the couch, the sleeping girl resting her head on your shoulder when he looked over at you with a loving gaze. “Isn’t this nice Jagi?” You nodded and he moved to kiss your cheek and rub the baby’s head. “This could be us with our own little girl one day.”
Taehyung: Going to a store with Tae was always interesting. This time you randomly dragged him over to the baby section to freak out over the little clothes. Another woman was browsing in the same area with a newborn in the stroller. You couldn’t help but watch the baby as Tae threw an arm over your shoulder. “We will get there someday Jagiya. Then we can fawn over little clothes for our own baby.” You reached up to grab his hand that was hanging over your chest and he kissed your head.
Jungkook: Kookie wanted to take you out for ice cream on a warm summer day after he got done with practice. You were sharing a big sundae when you looked over and noticed a little boy who seemed to be enjoying his ice cream. There was a giant mess on his face, but he smiled widely, not caring one bit. Jungkook noticed that you had zoned out looking at the boy. “He is pretty cute huh?” You looked back over at Kookie who laughed. “He sure is,” you turned back to look at the boy one last time, his hands covered with his half-melted chocolate ice cream. “Someday we could bring our kids here for their first sundae.” Shocked that he even brought your own future kids up you gave a questioning expression. “Hey now, I didn’t mean immediately.” You gave a little smile just thinking about Kookie as a dad. He filled a spoon with ice cream and fed it to you, trying to take the amused look off your face.
Summary: You were beautiful, kind, and just perfect for him. Only problem was you were his best friend’s’s girlfriend
Word Count: 4.1k
Genre: Smut, Angst
A/n: This series will be two chapters long
Jin was not one to believe in love at first sight or in soulmates, but the minute he laid eyes on her. He knew he was fucked.
She was untouchable and someone he should not even think about at night, but here he was with his hands down his sweatpants, panting out the name of a girl he knew will never scream his name out, and a girl who will never love him back.
He felt disgusted with himself as he felt his cum drip down his hand and the way he felt relief after getting rid of his pent up sexual frustration by thinking of you.
Memories of the night before when your breast had accidentally brushed against his hard chest as you were trying to get through the chaotic crowds of the college parties. Memories of you wearing a tight dress that showed off your curves and charm of a woman, and the way your red lips would curve into a smirk whenever someone made a joke. When she smiled at him when he made a lame joke, and when she drag him around the party to look for Namjoon.
He wanted you more than anything, but you were with someone else.
And the worst thing about wanting you was the fact that you were his best friend’s girl.
“I know that I said that I would always choose friendship over love, but she’s different and this situation is different too.”
“You’re still breaking the bro code.”
Jin sighed as he signals the bartender, “One more shot, please.”
Taehyung frowns as he tells the bartender to stop giving Jin more drinks, but the bartender had already served Jin a Gin.
“I can’t believe you’re a meme in real life, you even order a drink that sounds like your name.”
“This coming from the boy that Jungkook uses for his memes in our group chats.”
Taehyung only glares at him, but takes away Jin’s shot.
“Don’t get drunk, hyung.”
“I need too.”
“No, you don’t. What if you get drunk and call Namjoon’s girlfriend?”
Jin grunts and hands over the drink to Taehyung who only slides it away from himself.
“You need to think rationally before you do something stupid.” Taehyung advices, Jin chuckles.
“You know in all my life, I knew you. It was always me telling you advice, not the other way around.” Taehyung rolls his eyes at Jin.
“Well, you’re not always making wise decisions yourself, hyung. Like for example, falling in love with your best friend’s girlfriend!” Taehyung shouts, the whole bar looks at Jin, in judgement and some even smirk. Jin only shrugs it off, not caring what others see him as.
“I thought your fuckboy days are over, besides you shouldn’t let Y/N come between you and hyung’s friendship.” Taehyung almost pleaded.
“First of all, my fuckboy days are over so fuck you. And also, I don’t how to say this any other way, but Namjoon’s days aren’t.” Taehyung gasped.
“What do you m-mean?”
Jin sighs, as he grabs the glass of Gin, Taehyung lets him this time. He takes a huge gulp before setting the glass down.
“Namjoon is cheating on Y/N.” Taehyung’s mouth fell open and this time it was him taking a swig of Gin. After swallowing his drink, Taehyung narrow his eyes at Jin.
“Are you sure?”
“I caught him in the act, boy was balls deep in the girl.” Taehyung stared at Jin, in disgust, not use to Jin’s vulgar language.
“I was going to tell Y/N, but when she came over to my place to help plan Namjoon’s birthday party with a bright smile on her face… I couldn’t tell her. She was too happy, and I couldn’t break her heart like that. I want her to smile even if I’m not the reason.”
Taehyung smiled sweetly at Jin before scowling, as he remembered the situation they both were in, “Wow, you really do like her.”
Jin officially met you at a party in his senior year, but before he met you Namjoon gushed over you. Namjoon and you were Juniors when the both of you hooked up. At first, it was supposed to be a one-time fling as Namjoon puts it, but soon enough Namjoon fell for you.
“She’s beautiful, kind, and very smart. Last night, we talked until 3 in the morning, our talks were so meaningful and deep that she made me cry. The way she speaks is so beautiful and the way she seems to understand me so perfectly makes me so happy.”
Jin stared at Namjoon, shocked that a girl made Namjoon cried, usually it was the other way around.
“I told her about the shit I went through and all my insecurities and deep thoughts. Even though, she didn’t’ talk a lot she still listened and accepted me, and that’s all that mattered. As I met up with her more, I learned more about her and her hobbies. We’re so similar, hyung… And I think I love her.” Jin gaped at Namjoon, who was smiling like a lovesick fool, but after seeing how sincere Namjoon’s love for her, Jin smiled.
“After the first night we slept together, I had no intentions of staying with her and I was going to leave first thing in the morning, but she woke up before me. She smiled at me and asked if I would like to eat pancakes with me and I was going to say no, but when she smiled at me, I felt like I was staring at a real-life angel so naturally I couldn’t say no. One date lead to another and well here I am talking about her to you… I really love her, hyung… I think I want her to be the one.” Jin was happy for Namjoon, after years of watching Namjoon break hearts it was refreshing to see him finally cherish one.
Jin was no better by any means, but he quit messing with girl’s heart after his sophomore year when an upperclassmen had broke his. He had learned his lesson and he had hoped that you changed Namjoon for the better as well…. But you didn’t.
“When exactly did you fall in love with her?” Taehyung asked, as he drank a glass of water.
“Remember that party that Hoseok threw when I graduated?”
Taehyung nodded, as memories flashed through his head.
“It was the best party ever! Even though, I don’t remember half of it.”
Jin shook his head in amusement, as he reminisces the day he fell for you.
Dancing, sweaty bodies were moving their hips in the living room, couples tongue-locking in the hallways, and drunk freshman were puking out in the hedges.
The party was a success.
And Jin was having a great time, dancing with the girls and drinking with his friends. It was going well, but there was one person missing, Namjoon.
Jin was about to call him when he sees Namjoon making his way towards Jin. Namjoon was holding a girl’s hand and Jin didn’t pay any mind to her until Namjoon said her name.
“This is Y/N L/N… She’s my beautiful girlfriend.” As Jin finally met her eyes, he felt himself get pulled into a trance by her lovely shades of e/c. And when she smiled, it was like someone had punched him into a daze. Her red lips were curving into a flawless smile that he would later cherished and try to work hard to see it.
His eyes scanned your body from head to toes, you had a beautiful body as well and if it weren’t for the fact that Namjoon was holding your hand or getting annoyed by Jin obviously checking out his girlfriend, he would’ve asked you out on a date.
Jin smiled as he finally gets out of his trance, “My name is Kim Seokjin, but you can call me Jin.”
You smile at him and stared at Namjoon lovingly, “Joonie has told me soo much about you.” You giggled.
If he thought your smile was breathtaking, your giggles had taken his soul to heaven.
“You have a lovely laugh.” Jin accidentally slips out, you stared at him in shock before smiling again.
“Thank you, I also like your smile.” Namjoon’s grip on your hand tighten, before he gave Jin a mild look. Jin catches on and gives you both one last smile.
“It was nice meeting you.” He then walks away.
At the time, Jin didn’t know he had fallen for you. He simply thought that you were incredibly attractive, however it wasn’t until Namjoon brought you along to hang out with his friends a lot more that he realized he wanted to get to know you better.
He wanted to be with you, even if it meant stealing you away from Namjoon. And that thought frightened him and because of those thoughts he avoided you.
To his advantage yet disappointment, you hadn’t noticed him avoiding you.
“You fell in love at first sight.” Taehyung plainly stated. “Are you sure you’re not just horny for her?”
Jin glared at Taehyung’s blunt accusation, but continued talking, “It could’ve been anyone, but it had to be her.” Jin moaned out as he rubbed his face with his hands tiredly.
“Have you tried getting over her?”
Jin pulls his hands away from his face to glare at Taehyung once again. Boy keeps asking some dumb ass questions.
“I don’t know, why don’t you ask the ten women I dated and slept with, in hopes of forgetting about her.”
“You slept with ten women!?”
Jin nodded, as he started fishing out his money from his wallet.
“And you didn’t feel a thing for them?”
Jin nodded again, as he placed the money on the bar and started to walk away, Taehyung quickly slams down his money on the counter and followed Jin out the street.
“I tried, I really did.”
“You’re telling me you been in love with Y/N for three years and never moved on?!”
“Yes, Taehyung… That’s what happens when you fall in love with someone and if you weren’t thinking with your dick all the time, then you would’ve experienced the same thing.”
“No way in hell am I falling in love again, especially not after Yumi.”
The boys fell silent as they remembered Taehyung’s ex-girlfriend, she not only lied to him but cheated on him multiple times and stole his money.
“You’ll meet the right one, one day.”
Jin says as he placed his arm over Taehyung’s shoulders, Taehyung only snorts.
“Yeah, hopefully it’s not my best friend’s girlfriend, either.” Taehyung teased.
Jin laughs as he punched Taehyung’s arm, “Fuck you.”
Namjoon changed, you didn’t know what was the cause or why he was acting so differently.
He used to be sweet, caring, and loving. If anything, he was the clingy one in the relationship, but now it feels as though he wanted nothing to do with you anymore. He wouldn’t hold your hand, kiss you, or cuddle with you at night. And at first, you tried to be understanding, but now whenever you try to make plans with him he always makes up an excuse.
Whenever you had a hard day and tried to vent to him, he only stared at his phone, ignoring you. You were so frustrated by his lack of love and apathetic attitude, you decided you wanted to find out why.
If he won’t tell me why, then there’s only one way to find out.
After packing your bags and reserving a room at the hotel, you had set your plan in motion. All you had to do now was wait. As you walked into the living room, you notice Namjoon sitting on the couch texting. You walked towards the door with luggage, hoping to catch his attention, but failed. You sighed.
“I’m going to leave Korea for a week for business, but I’ll be back on Monday.” Namjoon’s eyes moved towards you before nodding.
As you left the apartment, you texted the one person that helped you feel better.
Jin grimaces as he remembers the exact moment that Namjoon fell out of the love with you.
“She bores me now, and lately she’s been more clingy.”
Jin scowled as Namjoon sat lazily in front of him. The light was dim and the air was heavy with smoke and tension. Namjoon drinks a shot of soju quickly before sighing.
“She used to be so interesting, but now she’s predictable and plain.”
Jin bit the inside of his cheek as he fought back the urge to yank his best friend by the collar.
“I just don’t love her.” Namjoon finally stated as he finished the last shot of soju.
Jin quickly gulps down his drink as he forced himself to calm down.
“I think I’m going to break up with her.”
Jin’s fist clenched and he felt his teeth bare, his eyes narrow down at an unsuspecting Namjoon, who had his eyes close as he tried to calm himself as well. When Namjoon quickly opens his eyes, Jin changed his expression, trying to play off as calm and rational, but in the inside he was already beating the shit out of Namjoon.
Why do I care? Jin thought angrily.
She’s my friend, but I’m closer to Namjoon… Either way, it’s not right to talk shit about someone who’s in love with you.
“Are you sure?” Jin asked, through gritted teeth.
Jin sighed, as he waits to hear you explain the situation.
Jin’s hands shook as he read your messages. His heart broke for you as you pour your heart out to him.
How can he tell you the truth when you were so happy with Namjoon?
Jin bit his lip as he typed a response that he will soon regret typing out.
Jin turned his phone off as he laid down on his bed, cursing at the ceiling.
It was two in the morning when Y/N came home, she unlocked the door and placed her luggage near a wall. She smiled brightly as she realized her house was quiet and still in place.
Namjoon didn’t burn the house down and he’s probably still sleeping. However, it wasn’t until you were taking your shoes off that you felt a heavy weight on your chest. Next to Namjoon’s red converse were black high heels that certainly weren’t yours.
You bit your lip nervously as you walked near your bedroom, you prayed that it was just Namjoon sleeping in your covers peacefully.
You tiptoed quietly as to not wake Namjoon, you slowly open the door with a smile until you saw two lumps in your bed.
Reality crash down on you as your smile slip off your lips and your chest ached physically. You turn on the lights and bang on the wall, jolting Namjoon and the woman next to him sleeping.
Namjoon’s groggy eyes widen at the sight of your devastated form. Namjoon felt his chest sinking as you stared at the woman with dyed blonde hair sitting next to him, naked.
The woman quickly covers her torso before slapping Namjoon’s face.
“You had a girlfriend!?” Namjoon only stared at you the whole time, as the blonde quickly dresses.
The blonde girl stared at you with a crestfallen look on her face, as she bowed deeply at you.
“Please forgive me, I had no clue he had a girlfriend.”
But at that moment, you didn’t even register her presence, she was background noise. Her hurried footsteps filled the painful silence and tension in the room. And just as she slam the door close, you finally snapped out of your heartbroken trance. You grab your purse and started to leave, snapping Namjoon out of his trance finally.
Namjoon quickly grabs his boxers and pants before following you out the front entrance. As you opened the door to leave, he slams it shut and trapped you with his hands against the door and you in front of him. You only kept silent as you refused to look at him out of sheer anger and disgust.
“Y/n, talk to me.”
You only kept quiet as you tried to open the door, but his bulging muscles only kept it shut.
You only scoffed, and as you struggled to open the door, he quickly pulls you in for a hug.
“Don’t leave me.” He whimpers out.
You swallowed nervously as you felt your chest tighten from the pain he was giving you.
“Let me go.”
“I love you.” You gasped, and you felt his arm tighten around you as you stopped struggling against him.
“I love you and I’m sorry I took you for granted. I didn’t realize how much I loved you until now.”
You bit your lip and tried to fight off the tears forming in your eyes.
“I can’t, Namjoon.”
“You can’t what?”
“I can’t be with you anymore so let me go. We both know, we’re not happy with each other anymore.”
“That’s not true.”
You scoffed and felt a bitter chuckle force itself out of your lips.
“Yes it is, otherwise you wouldn’t have cheated on me.”
Namjoon fell silent as his grip loosen, you were going to tear his arms off of you when you felt something warm and moist fall on your shoulder. You froze as you felt Namjoon press himself against your back, trembling.
“It won’t happen again.”
“It’s too late , Namjoon. I don’t want to be with you anymore because we’re not in love like we used to be.”
Namjoon’s arms fell to their sides at this point, and you force yourself to look him in the eyes.
“You’re not happy with me anymore and I can’t love you anymore because you hurt me, Namjoon. I have to think of my happiness. And I’m sick and tired of being the only one to save this relationship even when it’s falling apart so quickly.”
Namjoon’s heart broke to million pieces as he watched you grab your luggage and head towards the door.
You stared at him one last time with a sad smile, “It’s over. Tomorrow, I want you and your things gone from my apartment.”
Namjoon’s eyes widen as he watched you leave through the door. He felt his knees give out as he had realized his biggest mistake.
He had let the girl who would love him despite his flaws and past go. And because of what he done to her, she will never love him again.
It was four in the morning when Jin opened the door to see a red-eyed you standing in front of him.
He gaped at your disheveled form before stepping aside to let you in.
You spun around to glare at him, “Why did you lie to me?” Your voice was husky from an hour of crying.
“What are you talking about?”
“He fucking cheated on me, and you fucking knew this whole time.”
Jin’s mouth fell at the sudden confrontation before closing it back up.
Jin stared at you as tears slip down your face, he felt his chest ache at the sight. Out of all the things he hated, seeing you cry was the thing he hated most.
“I thought we were close enough to trust each other, Jin… Was it because Namjoon is your best friend?”
Jin sighed as he rubbed his eyes, he tried to ignore the pain filling his heart each second his eyes met yours.
“No, It’s just…”
“It’s none of my business. Yeah, the both of you are my friends, but I have no right or say in your relationship with him. It’s not my place to tell you that Namjoon was cheating on you.” Jin confessed, feeling frustrated.
“You should’ve least told me, instead of lying to me. I wasted my time and energy in trying to save that hopeless relationship! He broke my heart! I wished you had told me, but now I’m standing in front of you at four in the morning yelling at you instead!”
Jin stared at the ground, as you ranted.
“I’m not mad that you didn’t tell me, Jin. I’m mad because you lied to me! Shit, if you didn’t want to tell me at least say that it’s not your place to say so.”
“Well, what am I supposed to tell you when you were so fucking happy?! How am I supposed to tell the girl that I love more than anything that my best friend is cheating on her?! How am I supposed to tell my best friend that the girl whose happiness is my source of happiness deserves more?! How am I supposed to help you both without letting my personal feelings get in the way?! Or when I have no right to interfere with your relationship?”
Your mouth parted as Jin had confessed to you.
“You want to know why I lied to you?” You nodded, quietly, too shocked to argue back.
“I lied because I was hoping that maybe Namjoon would get his shit together and make you happy. I was a fucking idiot to lie to you, I should’ve told you the truth so you would’ve been spared the heartache, but I thought lying to you would save you both, but I was wrong. Now, you’re crying and Namjoon is probably cursing at himself for letting someone like you go. So, I lied because I thought I was protecting you both. It was wrong of me, but I just wanted you both to be happy.” Jin broke down into tears himself, as the guilt swallowed him up.
You walked towards and without warning wrap your arms around him, he stiffen as you spoke, “I’m sorry, Jin. It’s not your fault. I shouldn’t have put you on the spot… You shouldn’t have been dragged into this mess. I’m so sorry so please don’t cry. It’s not your fault, I should’ve found out myself. I was angry and sad, but that’s no reason to take it out on you. I’m sorry. Anyone would’ve done the same if they thought they would be protecting their friends.”
“Yeah, but I lied for Namjoon about him loving you.”
“You weren’t wrong, though…” Jin fell silent as he stared at you.
“However, he realized it too late.” Jin hugged you tightly as you wept against his hard chest. After a couple of minutes of crying, he wiped your tears away and stared into your redden eyes. You placed your cheek on his chest again as you felt warmth wash over you as his embrace was comforting.
“Thank you for always being there for me when he wasn’t.” You mumbled against him, thinking that he hadn’t heard a word, but he had heard everything.
“I would do anything for you.” He whispered back. You fell asleep on his chest with a smile and as he carried you back to his room, he couldn’t help but hope you would find happiness again even if it wasn’t from him. As you slept quietly on his bed, Jin slept on the couch hoping and praying to whatever entity that you would be at peace again. With a sad smile on his face, Jin fell into a peaceful slumber.
When Jin woke up it was noon, and as he got up from the couch he went to search for you. But, you were nowhere to be seen inside his home. He panicked until he saw your note on the kitchen counter.
Thank you for everything, Jin. I hope we see each other in the next life. Don’t worry about me and don’t look for me. By the time, you read this letter I will be on an airplane out of Korea.
Jin’s hands shook as he read the letter, he sat down on the couch as he felt harsh reality smack him in the face. You had left without saying goodbye properly and there was a high chance that he would never see you again.
As Jin’s tears slid down his face, he couldn’t help but wish the best for you and to see you again even if it were for a second.
Jin felt despair as he felt he would never see you again, but truth be told the both of you will have a fateful reunion two years later.

I honestly played old school dancehall throughout the entirety of writing this. - Admin Dayna
With the vaccuum in one hand, you found your spotify shuffle onto Wine Slow by Gyptian. It was only natural that your hips started swaying to the music. You got so into the music, you had to stop cleaning all together just to dance to it. You closed your eyes, moving freely to the beating if the steel drums. You had found yourself so deep within the dancehall rhythm, you hadn’t heard the door to your apartment open. You turned around, opened your eyes, and was met with an amused Jin. You at first were embarrassed, standing still, but the smile on Jin’s face and the music was just so tempting. You reached out a hand to Jin, put his hand on your hips, and basically dragged him into it. All Seokjin could really do was laugh and reluctantly join you.

You bowed shyly. Your heart was beating rapidly at
a doubt, in front of you was your friend Jin…no– your old best friend, Jin. It had taken his
absence in your life to realize he was your closest friend in high school, and
before Yoongi came along, the one who knew you best. But he had abandoned you
when you needed him most, and yet you never reached out to him for help either.
It wasn’t about pointing fingers since you were both to blame; you complied to
let distance break your friendship apart due to neglect, and allowed Yoongi to
become the center of your life back then.

But you shook those thoughts away. Jin recognizing you or Yoongi at all could

other half was feeling a bit nervous at seeing him in such an attractive light.
you felt fingers wrap around your wrist, bringing you back to reality.
Yoongi stated dryly.
Jin grinned. "Okay, have fun! Try not to take too long, but don’t

she’s still jet-lagged.” Jin giggled as they walked away.
no time, Yoongi was dragging you away. You two stumbled into the bathroom and
hurriedly checked to see if anyone was in there. Taking out your silencing
contraptions, you two scurried into separate stalls and pressed it.
the hell is he doing here??“ Yoongi hissed.

suddenly, there was a blood-curdling scream that pierced through the sense of

A/N: The much requested alternative ending to WINGS is here!! Sorry that it took so long, but I got a semi-writer’s block on this one, but I managed to finish it! Pfew! Enjoy reading!! <3 <3
Pairing: Jungkook x Reader
Genre: Angst and FLUUUUFFFF Guardian Angel!Jungkook
Word Count: 4012
When a guardian angel is assigned to become your companion, love is forbidden between human and angel. Once those three words are spoken, the guardian angel is set to fade and be replaced.
Your heart started beating when headlight shone into your eyes. It was one sharp sound, before it all went wrong.
It was one last look you gave him, before everything blacked out in front of your eyes and your body was rolling over the car front and your head hit the concrete.
There was blood everywhere. Sirens sounding through every corner as people gathered around you and a helpless boy called for help.
“Please! Call the ambulance! Please! Oh god, Y/N! Stay with me!” Jungkook half-cried and yelled. “Please…!” He begged, but you were already losing power to stay awake.
“Oh god, no!” He panicked, before he moved his hands to your arms and the same bright light you have seen earlier in the bathroom appeared. It felt warm and gentle, but sadly, his powers were not strong enough to heal your injuries.
His cries echoed to the back, your own conscious slipped away and the darkness engulfed you completely when everything went silent.
It felt like some sort of thud, when you felt your head being pushed back to something soft and your whole head started to twist. There was something pressuring your head, and you had to try and open your eyes to see what it was.
What seemed like glue sticking to your eyelids, you forced them open and looked around. You found yourself in a white room with a open window, allowing the summer breeze to come in and refresh the room. It was quiet, except for the little birds chirping from outside.
“Hoseok, don’t scare him,” Namjoon reprimands halfheartedly as he plays with his equipment.
Hoseok only waves his hand in the air in dismissal. “And you got a scholarship and took an extremely difficult entrance exam just to be with him?” He whistles when Jin responds with a beautiful smile and a nod. “Daebak. Even my sister will never do something like that for me.”
“I wanted to see what kind of life he’s living in the city. He hasn’t visited since he left, so I figured I should come see him, instead.”
“I’ve been really busy.” Namjoon doesn’t mean to come off so annoyed, but he just couldn’t stop his mouth soon enough.
“Yah Namjoon! Is that any way to talk to your childhood friend?”
“I-It’s okay. You’re probably hungry, Joonie? Your fuse gets shorter when you’re hungry.”
Lies, Namjoon thinks. He never lost his temper at Jin no matter how hungry he was. He grips the pen in his hand. Now he’s even making Jinnie lie. Great.
“Here,” Jin pulls out a lunch box out of nowhere and tries to feed Namjoon with a piece of beef bulgogi, but Namjoon only avoids it with a frown.
“Jinnie, will you stop that? I’m not hungry.” And Namjoon regrets his words the moment they left his mouth because of the hurt so evident in Jin’s face.
Yoongi bends down to bite the food off of the chopsticks, pausing momentarily to meet Jin’s eyes. He pulls a chair next to Jin and grabs the lunch box for himself.
“Yoongichii…” Jin mumbles.
“Yoongichii…?” Hoseok repeats, amused.
“It tastes better than the one from last night.” Hoseok scoffs incredulously in the background. “Did you take my advice?”
“I did. I did because I thought-”
“I like it,” Yoongi interrupts, looking up to meet Namjoon’s eyes who stares at him speechlessly, giving the confused man a challenging smile. "Actually, I think I love it.“
