Fathers, Be Good To Your Daughters

Daughters by John Mayer

My job is taking over my life. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do, but it seems as if every year, my work keeps getting progressively demanding. I am assuming this is due to the fact that my prominence is at an all time high as I have just released the last film of The Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay: Part Two, and through all the press tours and interviews, I keep asking myself the question, “is this the life I still want to live?”

Forever & Always - One Shot

Here is just a little one shot that popped into my head while listening to the song forever and always by parachute the other day, I am working on chapter two of  my fanfic All’s Fair in Love and War, but I just wrote this in the meantime. Thanks for reading! xx.

On the door, carved into the solid oak, is his name written with jagged edges, Bryce, a product of his old pocket knife and a shaky hand.

All's Fair in Love & War, Chapter 4: The Tide is Turning

Song: Island in the Sun, Weezer

When you’re on a golden sea, you don’t need no memory, just a place to call your own, as we drift into the zone.

You know how at night when you are laying in your bed, eyes shut and mind wandering; you don’t feel the exact moment when you fall into unconsciousness? However, you do remember the minute you shut your eyes and tell yourself, “okay, its time to go to sleep now,” and you remember waking up, but the only thing you know about when you actually ensued into your dream world is that it was sometime between the moment you said you were going to sleep and the instant when you physically woke up.

That’s how I feel right now, except I’m not sleeping.
